• In English, commands almost always stay the same, whether they are given to 1 or more people
• In Spanish, they are formed different depending if you are talking to 1 person (tú,usted) or more than 1 person (ustedes)

• In English, if you want to give a command to a group in which you include yourself, you simply add “Let’s” in front of the verb
• In Spanish, again there is a certain way to form the command
Let’s dance! ¡Bailemos! (nosotros)

• To form them:– 1. Conjugate verb in the “yo”
form present tense– 2. Drop the -O– 3. Add the appropriate ending:

• Positive command: pronoun is attached and an accent is needed on the 3rd vowel from the back
• Negative command: pronoun is placed before the command and after “No”

• When adding the reflexive pronoun “nos” for a positive command, you must first drop the -s of the command ending
