Long time ago, Pilgrims left Great Britain.

(Hace mucho tiempo, los Peregrinos dejaron Gran Bretaña)

Pilgrims sailed on a wooden ship called Mayflower.

(Los Peregrinos navegaron en un barco de madera llamado Mayflower)

On November 1620, Pilgrims arrived at America.

(En noviembre de 1620, los Peregrinos llegaron a América)

There, Pilgrims found to Wampanoag Indians.

(Allí, los Peregrinos encontraron a los indios Wampanoag)

The Pilgrims found the site they wanted for a town and then they

started to cut the trees.

(Los Peregrinos encontraron el sitio que querían para su ciudad y comenzaron a talar árboles)

Pilgrims built their homes with wood.

(Los Peregrinos construyeron sus casas con madera)

Indians lived in tents made of skins.

(Los indios vivían en tiendas hechas con pieles)

Indians showed to Pilgrims how to plant corn.

(Los Indios enseñaron a los Peregrinos cómo plantar maíz)

And how to hunt turkeys…

(Y cómo cazar pavos)

When the Autumn arrived again, Pilgrims pull the corn off the plants.

(Cuando llegó el otoño de nuevo, los Peregrinos recogieron el maíz de las plantas)

And they had learnt how to hunt turkeys too.

(Y también habían aprendido a cazar pavos)

Pilgrims decided to invite Indians to lunch for their help.

(Los Peregrinos decidieron invitar a comer a los Indios por su ayuda)

Pilgrims brought Turkeys and Indiands brought corn.

(Los peregrinos trajeron pavos y los Indios maíz)

Pilgrims prayed for all the things they had and gave thanks to God.

(Los Peregrinos rezaron por todas las cosas que tenían y dieron gracias a Dios)

Finally, Pilgrims and Indians had dinner together.

(Por último, los Peregrinos y los Indios cenaron juntos.)

(¿Cómo celebramos nosotros Acción de Gracias?

Families have dinner together and give thanks for things that they have.

(Las familias cenan juntas y dan las gracias por las cosas que tienen)

In United State of America made a great parade.

(En Estados Unidos se hace un gran desfile)

For dinner they decorate the table with cornucopia.

(Para la cena se decora la mesa con el cuerno de la abundancia)

And they eat: PUMPKINS…

(Y comen: Calabaza…)

CORN…

(MAÍZ)

And the famous: TURKEY!!!

(Y el famosos: ¡¡¡PAVO!!!

(¡FELIZ DÍA DE ACCIÓN DE GRACIAS!)
