WHY SHOULD I BECOME CMP® CERTIFIED?

AM I ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THE CMP?Eligibility Requirements:• 36 months of professional experience OR• 24 months with an industry-related degree

AND• 25 clock hours of industry-related continuing

education OR• Industry internship

  What is the Process?1. Fill out the online application and submit to CIC for approval at http://myaccount.conventionindustry.org

2. Receive approval notification from CIC (within 3-5 weeks of application)

3. Pay your exam fee to CIC

4. Schedule your exam date with Prometric

5. Sit for the CMP exam (within one year of receiving approval)

Exam is offered 4 times a year (January, May, August and November)
