Interceramic inició operaciones en Chihuahua, México en 1979, introduciendo al mercado lo más nuevo en tecnología para fabricación de pisos y azulejos de ese entonces. Hoy en día, es uno de los más grandes fabricantes de América del Norte con una capacidad de producción de 41 millones de metros cuadrados anuales en nueve plantas localizadas en cuatro complejos industriales: tres en Chihuahua, México y uno en Garland, TX en los Estados Unidos.

QUIÉN ES INTERCERAMIC
Interceramic began operations in Chihuahua, Mexico in 1979 introducing the most innovative technology for the manufacturing of ceramic tile at the time. Today Interceramic is one of the largest manufacturers in North America producing approximately 450,000 sq ft per year in nine manufacturing facilities located in four industrial complexes, three in Chihuahua, Mexico and one in Garland, TX in the US.

PORCELANATO TÉCNICO TODO MASAEl cuerpo del producto está compuesto por uno o varios tipos de polvo atomizado que se compacta de tal manera que el diseño es exactamente igual desde la superficie hasta la base del cuerpo.
THRU BODY PORCELAINThe body of the tile is comprised by one or various kinds of atomized dust, which is pressed in such a manner that the design is uniform from the surface to the body of the tile.

PORCELANATO DOBLE CARGAPara la fabricación de este tipo de porcelanato, el molde de la prensa se
carga dos veces; primero con un polvo atomizado de color uniforme que es la base primaria y después, con uno o más polvos atomizados de diferente
color que es el que genera el diseño. Este segundo prensado es ya el diseño de la pieza, es decir, no requiere de serigrafía ni decoración con esmaltes.
Estos productos mantienen su diseño original aún después de sufrir desgaste por el uso.
DOUBLE LOADED PORCELAINDouble loaded porcelain is manufactured with two layers of porcelain pressed
together and then fired. The top layer is pressed to the base porcelain layer under high pressure. This top layer is comprised of porcelain clays randomly
infused with various color pigments that create an infinite range of color combinations and patterns emulating those of natural stones. The design of
the surface is not lost due to the wear and tear.

PORCELANATO SAL Y PIMIENTAEs un porcelanato, donde el polvo atomizado que se prensa está compuesto de gránulos de diferentes colores, los cuales se observan en el cuerpo del producto terminado formando así el diseño.Estos productos mantienen su diseño original aún después de sufrir desgaste por el uso ya que es considerado también un Todo Masa.
SALT AND PEPPER PORCELAINThe atomized dust is charged with granules of different color pigments providing the design of the tile, which is consistent throughout the body.Salt and pepper porcelain tile keeps the appearance even after the effects of heavy traffic wear because it is a thru body product.

PORCELANATO SAL SOLUBLEEste producto lleva un tipo de esmalte viscoso a base de sales que se
aplica mediante serigrafías. El esmalte penetra en el bizcocho haciendo que las vetas se introduzcan de tal forma que no se pierdan con el
desgaste normal del tráfico.
SOLUBLE SALT PORCELAINThe product is obtained by applying soluble chemical salts to a through-body porcelain bisque prior to firing. Suspended in an aqueous solution,
these metal salts penetrate into the unfired tile body. After the tile body dries, the tile is fired during which time the metal oxide salts react with the
porcelain body resulting in various colors.

PORCELÁNICO ESMALTADOEl diseño se da con esmaltes y tintas aplicados a través de diferentes tecnologías (que van desde rodillos de silicón, hasta la más novedosa Tecnología Digital), su acabado final lo obtiene en el proceso de cocción.
GLAZED PORCELAINThe design is provided by the glaze, which is applied using different technologies (that go from silicon drums up to the newest digital technology). The final finish is obtained during the firing process.

PORCELÁNICO ESMALTADO PULIDOEstos productos, a diferencia de todos los esmaltados, cuentan con un
paso extra dentro de su proceso de producción y éste es precisamente el de pulido, que se da después de la cocción, reduciendo una capa gruesa
de esmalte hasta que el diseño se aprecia perfectamente.Por su naturaleza, estos productos son de tráfico moderado.
POLISHED GLAZED PORCELAINAfter the firing process, these glazed porcelain products undergo an
additional polishing process. This additional process removes a thick layer of glaze to reveal the design. These products are recommended for
moderate traffic areas.
