Conductores ACAR

DescripciónAlambres de aluminio 1350-H19 cableados concéntricamente alrededor de un núcleode aleación de aluminio 6201-T81.Aunque la mayoría de las construcciones de cable ACAR poseen un núcleo de aleación,en algunos conductores los alambres de aleación de aluminio 6201-T81 se encuentrandistribuidos en capas, combinados con alambres de aluminio 1350-H19.

Usos y AplicacionesLos conductores eléctricos ACAR se usan en líneas aéreas de transmisión y distribuciónde energía eléctrica.Su buena relación de carga de rotura a peso hace que los cables ACAR sean aplicablesdonde se requieren buenas características de conducción de corriente y de carga derotura.

Normas y EspecificacionesLos conductores ACAR se fabrican bajo las siguientes normas:ASTM B230, NTC-ICONTEC 360. Alambres de aluminio 1350-H19.ASTM B398, NTC-ICONTEC 2729. Alambres de aleación de aluminio 6201-T81.ASTM B524. Cables de aluminio 1350-H19 reforzado con aleación de aluminio6201-T81.
