Conductor de Aluminio Reforzado con Aleación de Aluminio (Aluminum Conductor Aluminum Alloy Reinforced) Conductores ACAR Descripción Alambres de aluminio 1350-H19 cableados concéntricamente alrededor de un núcleo de aleación de aluminio 6201-T81. Aunque la mayoría de las construcciones de cable ACAR poseen un núcleo de aleación, en algunos conductores los alambres de aleación de aluminio 6201-T81 se encuentran distribuidos en capas, combinados con alambres de aluminio 1350-H19. Usos y Aplicaciones Los conductores eléctricos ACAR se usan en líneas aéreas de transmisión y distribución de energía eléctrica. Su buena relación de carga de rotura a peso hace que los cables ACAR sean aplicables donde se requieren buenas características de conducción de corriente y de carga de rotura.
