Use the Zona Cultura box to point out to pupils that Spanish is a very useful language to learn as it is the second most widely spoken language after Mandarin. It could come in useful in many different professions.

Gramática Use the Gramática box to remind pupils of the preterite tense of the verb ir. Point out that in the preterite tense it is the same as the verb ser.
