Flow Diagrams of Events

My attention was catched for the esthetics of the flow diagrams used to create the logics of the software systems and information flow on companies. My research consisted to create a serie of mixed media works usign the esthetics of the flow diagrams combining elements of daily life and events and the Aztec and Maya codices. The results is that the structured logic of a flow diagram breaks into an structured chaos.

Style and fashion magazines has an special

esthetic and content that catch the attention of

millions of people. It is possible to find them

everywhere. My research was focused to create a

mix of visual elements between fashion magazines

pictures and the Aztec and Maya codices. Were

created 51 works in an average of A4 size. Usign

those works were created a new style magazine

called DHStyle. A limited edition of 1000 were

printed and 500 were distributed over three

countries: Mexico, USA and Germany, on places

where normally people found magazines to read

like: cafes, restaurants or waitrooms.

The neverending painting

My background as software engineer has been taken me to explore and experiment new ways to create art combining technological instruments and the use of free hand tools and materials. My focus is to build a balance between the perfection obtained from the machines and the imperfection of the human hand.

This project was created usign inkjet printing and watermark colors on paper. Consist of 102 A4 Size images in form of a mosaic presenting four different escenes of my life. Every escene is conected with the others because as life every square has a continuity to complete on every side. Only dead brings an end.
