WHERE IS A CORUÑA, GALICIA?Galicia is at the northwest of Spain. It’s formed by four province: Orense, Lugo, Pontevedra
and A Coruña. Galicia is located at the north of Portugal, right here.

Galicia is a place very wet, where the rain is so normally, this causes that Galicia be

Galicia is famous for its beaches, its fishing ports, its inhabitants… But one of the
more importants reasons to be famous is the “Camino de Santiago”, one of the most
importants cristians routes, which finished in the “Catedral de Santiago”.
THE CAPITAL OF A CORUÑA: SANTIAGO
Santiago de Compostela is the capital of A Coruña, and is very famous around the world
for the cristian route that finished in this city (such us we say in the last point). This route is
undefined cause you can begin the route where you want. But the most famous routes
are two that begins in the northeast of Spain, near the Pyrenees. The history of this city
and this cathedral explain that the corpse of the apostle Santiago was in the cathedral.
