Parte fundamental de la formación de un profesional es la habilidad decomunicarse en un idioma extranjero además del propio idioma nativo. Nosolamente amplía su horizonte cultural sino que permite una visión más humana ycomprensiva de la vida de las personas. En el caso de los idiomas extranjeros,indudablemente el Inglés es el más práctico porque es hablado alrededor de todo elmundo. No hay país alguno donde este no sea hablado. En las carreras modernasel inglés es tal vez la herramienta práctica más importante que el alumno debedominar desde el primer momento, como parte de su formación integral.

5. OBJETIVOS GENERALES DEL CURSO. (RESULTADOS DE APRENDIZAJE DELCURSO)

Expresar / Entender / Dominar el Pasado Simple, Presente Continuo, PresenteSimple, Presente Perfecto en todas sus formas gramaticales y tiempos en elidioma inglés en forma escrita u oral.

Aprender en el idioma inglés: There is / There are, There washingtoniana /There were, Adjetivos Comparativos, Adjetivos Superlativos, Adverbios,Preposiciones de lugar, Be + Verb + _ing, Presente Simple o Presente Continuo,Pasado Participio, Sustantivos Contables / No Contables, How Mucho / HowMany?, Be going to (planes futuros), Be going to (predicciones futuras), Wouldyou like, Will (futuro), la diferenciación en la utilización de Go - Get - Have, a /an - some / any, Cuantificadores: a lot / not much y su utilización de estos enel idioma inglés en escritura o al hablar.

Unit 6 ENGLISH GRAMMAR. – There is / there are, there was / there were,present continuous, simple present or present continuous. VOCABULARY. –Houses and furniture, prepositions of place, verb phrases, places in a city.PRONUNCIATION. – /ð/and/Ɛr/sentence stress, silent letters, verb + ing placenames.

Unit 7 ENGLISH GRAMMAR. - a / an, some / any, how much / how many?,quantifiers: a lot, no much, etc, be going to (plans), be going (predictions).VOCABULARY. POLITICAS DE CLASE

PERIODO ABRIL – SEPTIEMBRE 2012POLITICAS DE CLASE

MATERIA: INGLËS ELEMENTAL / ELEMENTAL ALTO / NBU

Ingreso al aula de clases.

Se estableció que se espera al estudiante máximo 10 minutos después de haber ingresado elprofesor correspondiente a la hora de inicio de clase.

Se indico que no se puede ingresar al aula con los siguientes objetos: gorras, alimento, loscelulares previamente en silencio o apagados de manera que no sean objeto de interrupcióndurante la clase.

Con relación a las faltas.

El estudiante que haya faltado a clases debe de justificar según sea el caso; sea antes de faltar encaso de que el tenga conocimiento o justificación medica en caso de que la falta haya sidoimprovista, cabe indicar que la justificación tiene que ser personal y registrarse en secretaria de laCarrera.

Si se da el caso de que el día que falto el estudiante se realizo una práctica calificada o unaprueba, el estudiante debe de justificar con certificación médica aceptada por la Secretaria parapoder rendir nuevamente la prueba con una calificación menor a la normal.

Con relación a la evaluaciones.

Las evaluaciones serán clasificadas de la siguiente manera:

Evaluaciones rápidas que consisten en pruebas sobre lo que se ha tratado en clase, se las realizacomo grupales o individuales después de haber terminado el tema de clase.

Evaluaciones previstas, estas consisten en una evaluación previo aviso la misma que se realiza alterminar una unidad, esta engloba cada uno de los contenidos que han sido analizados.

Con relación a revisión de trabajos, consultas, exposiciones.

Los trabajos como consultas deben de realizarse de manera individual y personal, esto quiereindicar que serán anulados los trabajos hayan sido prácticamente copiados sin previa edición oque también tengan tanto en estructura y contenido similitud.

Las exposiciones consisten en dado un tema de exposición se calificara la actuación de losparticipantes al frente así como las respuestas de los receptores de manera que haya quedadocomprendida la temática expuesta.

En la primera clase se explicara el contenido de la materia y entrega en formato digital (víaemail o copia en memoria flash) del sillabus de la materia.2. Se tomara lista al ingreso y final de la clase.3. Los estudiantes podrán ingresar al aula hasta un máximo de 10 minutos después de la horaestablecida de ingreso normal a clases.4. La justificaciones de falta se aceptaran con la debida certificación médica o certificación departe del director de la carrera.5. Dentro del aula de clase el estudiante deberá tener un correcto comportamiento tanto con elprofesor y con sus compañeros de clase.6. No se permitirá el uso de celulares, excepto en llamadas de suma urgencia en que podrácontestar la llamada fuera del aula.7. Se tomaran prácticas en clases periódicamente.8. Los estudiantes que no presenten los deberes a tiempo, tendrán la opción de presentarlos enla siguiente clase con una penalización del 50% de la nota original de calificación del deber.9. Los trabajos tanto individual o grupal tendrán que tener conclusiones y recomendaciones deacuerdo a la investigación realizada, se verificara que los trabajos no sean copias de otros.En caso de ser copias los trabajos estos tendrán la calificación mínima que se les puedaasignar.10. Se tomara evaluación una vez que se haya concluido la unidad que se ha dictado de acuerdoal sillabus de la materia.11. PRESENT PERFECT (EXPERIENCE)+EVER AND NEVER

Use the present perfect to talk about past experiences when you don´t sayexactly when they happened.

I’ve been to London. NOT I’ve been to London last year.

For regular verbs the past participle is the same as the past simple (+ed). We often use the present perfect with ever (=in your life until now) and never.

EL PORTAFOLIO ESTUDIANTIL

El portafolio es una técnica de enseñanza, aprendizaje y avalúo. Este consiste de una colecciónde los trabajos que realiza el estudiante para demostrar sus esfuerzos, logros y progreso en unárea específica, en este caso el área de matemáticas Calculo Diferencial. El portafolio se haincorporado en la educación en la facultad de Ciencias Informáticas no sólo como una evidenciade los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje, si no como un fortalecimiento-mejoramiento continuoen todo el quehacer educativo.

PROPOSITO

Fortalecer las destrezas de búsqueda y localización de información Como función principal de servir como medio para que el estudiante pueda evidenciar su

ejecución académica en el curso. Permite desarrollar destrezas de análisis y solución de problemas en todo el quehacer

educativo. Permite que el estudiante reflexione sobre su actividad y progreso en clase.

VENTAJAS

Es un producto individual y personalizado que permite al estudiante explorar sucreatividad.

Sirve para que el estudiante comparta experiencias con otros compañeros del curso. Promueve la evaluación sobre fortalezas y debilidades.

ORGANIZACIÓN DEL PORTAFOLIO

El formato para el curso de Calculo Diferencial es el siguiente:

Portada diseñada, incluye: nombre de la institución, nombre del curso, nombre delestudiante, nombre del docente, fecha.

Tabla de contenido. Carta de presentación, presenta datos personales del estudiante, área de interés, plan de

trabajo, objetivos del curso, motivos y propósito para el desarrollo del portafolio. (incluyauna foto en un lugar apropiado)

Trabajos investigación, tareas y asignaciones, una selección de trabajosrepresentativos.

Reflexiones, sobre la clase y trabajos realizados. Resumen de cierre, a manera de conclusión donde el estudiante destaque su satisfacción

con lo comprendido, áreas que debe mejorar y limitaciones. Área para evaluación del docente, sección donde el docente presentará la evaluación de

la ejecución del estudiante en el curso y en el portafolio.

PROCESO DE ELABORACIÓN

FASE 1.- Recogida de Evidencias: esta fase va precedida por la revisión de objetivos ocompetencias delineados para el curso. Al definir éstos se facilita la recolección deevidencias que pueden ser variadas como formato y soporte como lecturas, recortes deperiódicos, tareas, informes, exámenes y presentaciones.

FASE 2.- Selección de Evidencias: para evitar que el portafolio se convierta en uninventario de evidencias es necesario escoger los mejores trabajos. Estos trabajos debenrepresentar el progreso en el curso. Este ejercicio permite al estudiante determinar lasfortalezas y debilidades de acuerdo con las expectativas y objetivos del curso.

FASE 3.- Reflexiones de las Evidencias: esta fase constituye el punto culminante delproceso de desarrollo del portafolio, Se espera que el estudiante reconozca los aciertos ydesaciertos durante su paso por el curso. En este ejercicio de reflexión es determinanteproponga las estrategias para mejorar los puntos débiles.

FASE 4.- Publicación del Portafolio: en este punto el estudiante organizará lasevidencias con sus respectivas reflexiones de acuerdo con las especificaciones indicadaspor el docente o su tutor designado como guía por la facultad. Se espera que el estudianteutilice su creatividad para organizar y presentar el portafolio final.
