GENERAL TOURISM SPAIN .

Tourism to Spain is a major economic contributions to the country, for its beaches , cuisine and

it is one of the nations most historic cultural heritage of the world.

The advantages of tourism in Spain in summer are its climate , which attracts many peoplefrom other countries, as it is almost entirely surrounded by water ( Atlantic Ocean , Bay of

Biscay , Mediterranean Sea ) and their history of which we many monuments .

in the world in number of foreign tourists with a total of 56.17 million foreign tourists during

the year 20113 , of these , 84.3 % came to Spain for pleasure or vacation , 7.2% for work or

business , 4.8% for personal reasons, and the remainder for other reasons. Most tourists areGermans , British ( the highest percentage ) , French, Italian and Portuguese

In 2013 , residents in Spain made nearly 150 million trips within the country itself

Of the total domestic tourism trips , 80000000 were made for reasons of holiday or leisure

44000000 for visiting relatives or friends, 20000000 for work or business , 8000000 for study ,

and the remainder for other reasons.

Besides , the Spaniards had a total of 10000000 trips abroad

to the typical holiday during Christmas in the Puerta del Sol , and also thanks to football ,
