O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world. I offer them for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart; the salvation of souls, reparation for sins, the reunion of all Christians. I offer them for the intentions of our Bishops and of all our members, and in particular for those recommended by our Holy Father this month.

Missionaries of Jesus Word & Victim Food Drive

The St. Ansgar Knights of Columbus & Ladies Auxiliary are hosting a NUN FOOD DRIVE for the Missionaries of Jesus Word & Victim. These sisters take Jesus to people in six different countries of Latin America. By endless travel on bumpy roads, bicycles, donkey’s horseback, or walk – all to bring help to people by bringing them food, pray with them, comfort the dying, and most importantly to bring Holy Communion. These angels of God’s Love need your help – they are asking for very simple things:

Peanut Butter & Jelly/Jam (smooth or chunky. Any flavor jelly/jam)

Oatmeal Powdered Milk

(it takes 2 months to transport – only powdered will work)

Can you help them? Our goal is to fill 100 boxes. Please help, in any way you can. Cash donations are welcome, and

will be used to purchase more items for the Sisters.

¿Puede usted ayudarlas? Nuestro objetivo es llenar 100 cajas con los artículos que pidieron. Se aceptan también donaciones en efectivo, para comprar artículos adicionales y para pagar

por el envió de las cajas.

Los artículos se estarán recibiendo del 17 de mayo al 14 de junio.

• Los niños que cumplen 7 años en el 2015, pueden iniciar las clases para Primera Comunión.

• Los jóvenes que cumplen 14 años en el 2015, pueden iniciar las clases para Confirmación.

• Los jóvenes y adultos mayores de 17 años (o que los cumplan en el 2015) que necesitan algún sacramento (Bautismo, Comunión y Confirma-ción), pueden inscribirse en la clase de RICA.

• Los niños, jóvenes y adultos que deseen ser asistir al programa, deben ya saber las oraciones básicas (Padrenuestro, Ave María y Gloria) al momento de ser inscritos. Deben venir con sus padres el día de la inscripción para ser evaluados.
