C.A.I.P.-Elegir autónomamente de las diferentes artistas las tareas a realizar imitando las de la artista. N.T.I.C.- Utiliza las técnicas de la información para ampliar el conocimiento y buscar datos sobre artistas famosas y su obra plástica. C.C.I.M.F.-Utilizar datos encontrados y del entorno en sus representaciones plásticas. Reconocer figuras para mejorar la percepción espacial. C.A.A.-Buscar información, investigar, localizar datos relevantes en soportes diversos para ser aplicados en sus tareas. Mejorar la calidad de las expresiones plásticas mediante el detenido análisis de los recursos estudiados.
OBSERVACIONES
El trabajo sobre las autoras se puede ampliar al final de cada unidad con un proyecto de investigación sobre su país de origen. En alguna de las tareas es necesario el uso del ordenador portátil del alumnado (con acceso a internet) y/o pizarra digital interactiva para buscar, mostrar o ver información. Se estimula el fomento de la lectura , puesto que tienen que realizar una lectura para investigar y recopilar información sobre artistas y sus obras de nuestro tiempo o del pasado.

Who are they? There are many women who have been models in art, painting, sculpture and so on, but there are many women artists that we don't know.
Let´s meet some of them.
Adeline Virginia Woolf (January 25, 1882 – March 28, 1941) was an English writer. She was one of the most important modernist literary figures of the 20th century. Louise Nevelson (September 23, 1899-April 17, 1988) was a sculptor, using found and discarded objects. She was associated with cubism, Dadaism, surrealism and minimalism. Mary Cassatt (May 22, 1844 – June 14, 1926) was an American painter. She lived in France. Her best friend was Edgar Degas. Cassatt often created images of the social and private lives of women, with emphasis on the relationship between mothers and children. Clara Josephine Wieck Schumann (September 13, 1819 – May 20, 1896) was an important German musician. She worked for 61-years. She changed the way we listen to music. Her husband was the composer Robert Schumann. She was the first pianist to give public concerts of some of Brahms' music. Amalia Lopez came to Jaén in 1858. She was the first female photographer in Jaén. She set up her studio in her home and focused on portraits but also on invitations, business cards and photographs of the city.

DO you remember?
Mary Cassatt was an American painter. She lived in France. Her best friend was Edgar Degas. Cassatt often created images of the social and private lives of women, with emphasis on the relationship between mothers and children. She often painting children or families and she used light colours for her pictures.
The Impressionists were not interested in painting things if they were real. The colours were more important than the lines, they painted everyday things.
Use this painting as an example to create your own impressionist painting like Mary.
