en nuestra diócesis durante el Año Santo Jubilar.

Peregrinos vendrán durante todo el año para atravesar la puerta Santa, Participar en la Santa Misa y Orar por las intenciones del

Santo Padre. Es un año de gracia para ganar indulgencias.

has been chosen to be one of the 6 Pilgrim Sites in The Diocese.

Pilgrims will come throughout the year to pass into the Holy Door, participate in the Holy celebration of mass, and

to pray for the intentions of The Holy Father. It is a year of grace to obtain indulgences.

TEACH US TO PRAY“Señor, enséñanos a orar”. Abraham rogó ante el Señor por unos pocos hombres buenos. Jesús enseña a sus seguidores a orar. Diríjanse a Dios como “Padre”, mencionen las grandes obras que Dios hizo en el pasado y sus deseos de hoy; mencionen a Jesús, el Hijo de Dios y, de nuevo diríjanse a Dios Padre, de quien viene todo lo creado. Hoy, el apóstol Pablo nos recuerda que: “En el bautismo fueron sepultados con Cristo. Y también en el bautismo fueron resucitados”. ¿Estás dispuesto a morir al pecado y resuci-tar con él?

“Lord teach us to pray,” Abraham prays to the Lord for a few good and just men. Jesus teaches his followers the proper form for prayer: address God as “Our Father;” recall the great works of God in the past and our desires now; draw all through God’s Son Je-sus back to the principal source of all, God the Father. Today the Apostle Paul reminds us we have been “buried with the Christ in baptism” and raised up from sin by his resurrection. Will you take the plunge and rise with him?
