Tot i que fa uns anys, Girona tenia fama de grisa, ara la música negra també hi té un lloc. En motiu de l’actuació del grup de soul The Impressions amb els gironins The Pepper Pots al Black Music Festival, la Biblioteca Ernest Lluch ha preparat una selecció de discos de soul i funk, que vol ser un modest i petit recorregut per l’evolució d’aquests dos gèneres i els seus diferents estils.
