SPORTS USING A BALL

Many sports use different balls:

FOOTBALL

BASKETBALLTENNIS

BASEBALLVOLLEY

ICE HOCKEY

TABLE TENNIS

BOWLING

RUGBY

FIELD HOCKEY

POLO

Lets talk about some of them: TENNIS

• You need a tennis court with a net in the middle

• You need a racket to pass the tennis ball across the net

• There are single and doubles

games

• The ball can touch the ground just once

BASKETBALL

• You need a basketball court with two hoops

• You need your hands to move the ball

• The 2 teams have 5 players each

on the court

• The ball has to jump trough hoops

POLO

• You need a polo grass court with to goals

• Polo is played with a horse, a polo mallet and wooden bowl

• The 2 teams have 4 players each

on the court

• The players hit the bowl with the mallets, riding their horses

Now I´ll talk about my two favorites: FOOTBALL

• You need a football grass court with two goals

• You hit the ball with your feet or your head and you can touch it with your hands only in laterals throw ins

• The 2 teams have 11 players each on

the field

• Each team has a goal keeper who can carry the ball with his hands

and RUGBY

• You need a rugby grass court with two goals

• You carry the ball with your hands, and the ball is always passes to back

• The 2 teams have 15 players each on

the field

• You stop your opponent with tackles and kick the ball for convertions
