    V Century:

    Classic literature is known as the Greek and Roman literary production corresponding to theages ranging from X to. BC to V d. C.

    Features of Literature: The Greeks attached great importance to literature and theater.

    The classification of literary genres that still may be valid, due to Aristotle.

    In the poetics of Aristotle distinguishes between:

    Epic or Epic Poetry: Where deeds of heroes or towns held.

    Lyric Poetry or Elegy: Where the poet is expressed in a personal and intimate tone, speaking

    of himself, of his emotions and feelings, it is subjective.

    Baroque Literature:

    XVII Century

    Period covered:

    This time the story is set in the seventeenth century, the origin of the word baroque is supposed to come from the Portuguesewhich means "beautiful but irregular pearl" and the name of syllogistic figure "baroque" to which is considered a forms offorced and absurd reasoning. Baroque architecture is conceptualized every movement, sculptures and paintings and other

    artistic works exaggerated, full of details.

    Features of Literature:
