WHAT DO THE ROLES INVOLVE GENERALLY?

DECKHAND • Wash downs of the yacht • Basic maintenance• Varnishing and painting• Driving the tenders for an assortment of reasons • Launching of tenders etc.• Assisting with bridge watches , navigation etc.• Assisting guests with water sports• Assisting with safety checks & drills • Sometimes assisting the engineers

WHAT DO THE ROLES INVOLVE GENERALLY?

STEWARDESS• Maintaining the cleanliness of the interior• Serving the guests drinks & meals • Making of beds and general housekeeping• Laundry for guests and crew• Assisting with drills• Assisting with cooking on occasion• If you have the experience /qualifications then massages or beauty treatments may be required.

Both roles involve a lot of cleaning, service, polishing, hironing, hard work, long hours, often doing fairly monotonous tasks.

CHIEF STEWARDESS• Managing the interior team• Guest service, liaise with guests, serve meals, tend the bar• Liaise with the galley for meal service• Flower and table decorations• Set stewardess schedules for cleaning and service• Maintenance and cleaning of the interior• Organize guest activities and parties• Boat stowage for sea• Accounting and managing budgets• Interior crew hiring, training and management• Upkeep of inventories, provisioning, uniform purchase• Dealing with shipyard contractors

SALARIES / JOB POSITION Stewardess / DeckhandSalary net monthly

• Super Yacht / Yacht : 2000€ - 3000 €

• Small Yachts - 28 mts or Sailing Yacht : 1800€ - 2500 €

All position are living on board

Competitive Salary. 40% higher than a job on land ($/€)

Four to six month contract, two months off rotation. + renew. Or similar

Demanding working environment 7/7 on the season time

Accommodation, meals included,
