    The most com m on react ion to fragrance materials seen by pract icing

    derma tologists is allergic co nta ct derm atitis. P hotoderm atitis is occasionally

    seen, as is co nta ct urticaria, irritation, and depigmentation. Frag rance s are the

    leading cause o f al lergic contact dermati tis d ue to cosm et ics . The fragran ce

    mix ture can c ause false-positive reactions; the refore, i t is m ore desirable to
