A2A4 All radiographic operations are conducted under the direct supervision and responsibility of the Radiation Protection Supervisor. Handling and shifting of heavy equipment is carried out with caution under the control of an experienced Supervisor. A Permit to Work is issued for entering into the pipe. Precise instruction is defined therein with regard to persons, equipment, methods, pre-cautions to be taken and auxiliary safety equipment to be used such as breathing apparatus, trolley, guideline, etc. Areas where radiographic activity is carried out are isolated with barriers, signs and notices are posted and

Careful watch is exercised in order to prevent entry into the off-limit area of unauthorized persons.
