Calcular la resistencia de un perfil IR sometido a flexión puede ser una tarea complicada si no se tiene una hoja de calculo a la mano o no se dispone de el tiempo suficiente para calcular las longitudes Lr y Lp, es por esto que para una revisión "rapida" de un elemento o simplemente para ahorrar tiempo los ingenieros recurrimos a nomogramas.Aunque este tipo de nomogramas ya existe, son generalmente dificiles de encontrar y no son de mucha utilidad si se esta utilizando el sistema internacional de unidades, es por esto que he realizado nomogramas para la mayoria de los perfiles IR utilizados en México, me gustaria su opinon hacerca de los mismos.El archivo contiene nomogramas de pandeo lateral torsional para secciones IR del manual de construcción en acero (IMCA) siguiendo la normatividad del AISC 2010, solo se muestran los primeros 100 perfiles IR.
