Dear readers,if everything went as planned, in your hand you could have a copy of ND MAG #002, made of a special stone paper. Stone paper is an eco-sustainable product. Not everyone knows that to achieve 1 ton of paper you need 4 tons of wood. And what happens to the other 3 tons of wood? In the transformation process electricity is consumed, CO2 is produced, there are dry residues and we contaminate a lot of water.Eight years ago for the N&D Winter Edition (March 2011) special issue, we had already used a mineral paper very similar to the one you (probably) have in your hands right now.

This paper is made out of Calcium Carbonate 80% (stone) and an easily recyclable plastic resin, HDPE 20%; it is also water resistant.But I don’t want to bore you with all this data, I simply want to emphasize our change.Not only in the format, now square, not only in the type of paper, but also in the contents.Among ND contents, divided between night and day, you will find MUSIC (especially electronic music, as widely shown on the Night cover), NATURE (and a lot of eco-sustainability) and CULTURE.The Night cover this month will show the world famous Circoloco event, with a photo shoot realized by Paolo Regis during the opening party of its XXI season at DC10 on May 20th.

In the Day side we’ll present HTC Los Angeles, a “Made in Italy and USA” brand that wants to bring to Ibiza a “unique and at the same time underground combination of wild and tailoring couture”, with a photo shoot realized once again by Paolo Regis.

P.S.: ND # 002 has also been produced in a limited edition made of stone paper, an eco-sustainable and water resistant magazine. Queridos lectores,Si todo salió según lo planeado, en vuestra mano podríais tener una copia de ND MAG #002 hecha de un papel especial de piedra. El papel de piedra es un producto eco-sostenible. No todos saben que para lograr 1 tonelada de papel se necesitan 4 toneladas de madera. ¿Y qué pasa con las otras 3 toneladas de madera? En el proceso de transformación se consuma electricidad, se produce CO2, tenemos residuos fijos y contaminamos mucha agua.Hace ocho años, para el número especial N&D Winter Edition (marzo de 2011), ya habíamos usado un papel mineral muy similar al que vosotros (probablemente) tenéis en vuestras manos ahora.

Este papel está compuesto por un 80% de Carbonato Cálcico (piedra) y un 20% de HDPE de una resina plástica fácilmente reciclable, además es resistente al agua.Pero no quiero aburriros con todos estos datos, sino simplemente enfatizar nuestro cambio.No solo en el formato, ahora cuadrado, no solo en el tipo de papel sino también en el contenido.En ND, dividido entre noche y día, encontraréis contenidos de MÚSICA (especialmente música electrónica, como se muestra ampliamente en la portada Night), NATURALEZA (y mucha eco-sostenibilidad) y CULTURA.En la portada de este mes en la sección Night, tenemos el mundialmente famoso evento Circoloco, con la sesión fotográfica realizada por Paolo Regis durante la apertura de su XXI temporada en DC10 el 20 de mayo pasado.

En la sección Day presentamos HTC Los Angeles, una marca “Made in Italy and USA” que quiere traer a Ibiza una “combinación única y al mismo tiempo underground de alta costura y sastrería”, con una sesión fotográfica realizada por Paolo Regis.

Hi Lucas, first question, where is your name “Who” coming from?It’s a quite long story… The first time I came to Ibiza, I didn’t have an artistic name because I was playing as a DUO with my friend Victor. Together, we met Elliot (James Shaw) who at the time worked for Circoloco. We started to play and people were asking all the time to Eliott “Who is playing?”.Then my partner decided to go back to Paris so I started playing on my own under the name Who.

Hola Lucas, primera pregunta, ¿de dónde viene tu nombre “Who”?Es una historia bastante larga... La primera vez que vine a Ibiza, no tenía un nombre artístico porque tocaba como dúo con mi amigo Victor. Conocimos a Elliot (James Shaw) que en ese momento trabajaba para Circoloco y cuando comenzamos a tocar la gente todo el tiempo le preguntaba a Eliott “Who is playing” (¿Quién está tocando?”).Entonces mi compañero decidió volver a París, así que empecé a pinchar solo con el nombre de Who.


¿Por qué viniste a Ibiza?En París mi mánager Sophien me había presentado a Leo Cannistra y Fanny Briet (Keep on Dancing). Aquí en Ibiza establecí contactos con los mejores clubes y pinché en Amnesia, Zoo Project, Rumors, Keep on Dancing y muchas fiestas privadas. Realmente quiero agradecer a mis padres que siempre creen en mí y en mi pasión. Sin ellos ni siquiera habría venido a Ibiza.

¿Cómo defines tu estilo de música?Mi música es un balance/crossover de diferentes estilos de música, mi inspiración comienza desde el house de Chicago de los años 90 hasta el techno de Detroit. ¡Rave de la vieja escuela!

Además, ¿qué tal con tu sello “Get your Copy”? Supongo que el nombre es la misma historia que tu nombre artístico...Sí, es la misma historia, estaba cansado de leer en toda la tienda de música online “Get your copy”, así que pensé que podría ser un buen nombre para mi sello.Comencé a producir música hace 10 años, pero solo hace 3 años empecé a lanzar música en mi sello con algunos artistas que me gustaban. Tenemos a Steve Murphy de Italia y K’Alexi Shelby de Chicago.Estoy preparando en este momento un nuevo sub-sello llamado “Rave the Future Records”, que solo tratará sobre la rave que recuerda el ambiente de la vieja escuela. ¡Próximamente!

Why did you come to Ibiza?My manager Sophien, introduced me to Leo Cannistra and Fanny Briet (Keep on Dancing) in Paris. While here I made connections with the best clubs and played in Amnesia, Zoo Project, Rumors, Keep on Dancing and for a lot of private parties. I really want to thank my parents who always believe in me and my passion. Without them I wouldn’t even have come to Ibiza.

How do you define your style of music?My music is a balance/crossover of different styles of music, my inspiration starts from the Chicago house of the ‘90s to the Detroit techno. Old school rave music!

Also how is it going with your label “Get your Copy”? I suppose the name is the same story as your artistic name…Yes, same history, I was bored to read in all online music store “Get your copy”, which I thought could be a good name for my label.I started producing music 10 years ago but only started releasing music on my label 3 years ago with some artists that I liked. We have Steve Murphy from Italy and K’Alexi Shelby from Chicago. I’m building right now a new sub label called “Rave the Future Records” which will be only about raving music that reminds of the old school vibe. Coming soon!

Where are you from?I’m from the north of Germany, but now I live in Lisbon most of the time and occasionally in Berlin, where I have my studio and I spend a lot of time working.

What has been your personal evolution as a producer and DJ since your early beginnings?In the beginning I actually started as a hip hop DJ. I was 17 when I got my first SL-1200 as a present and I had just started scratching. I was influenced by that kind of hip hop style and at that time I also was in a hip hop band. A few years later we decided to rap and I started to produce but without any knowledge, so we used some copyright free beats that we could rap on in our concerts in Hamburg. When I got into house music it was mainly because my mom was a music journalist and she had all kinds of vinyl records at home. There was all kind of music, included some German pop music and also a few Mousse T records. From there I got more and more interested in that music and over time I also found a connection between hip hop and house. As a producer I kind of taught myself and of course I did a lot of mistakes but when I put my hands on Ableton I was really happy with the work flow. It was a very slow evolution and it took me a couple of years to get proper beats done.

During your career you have released on very important record labels. Which one of your productions, is your favourite and why?I think Ruffline on 8 bit Records, because it’s the release that got on me a lot of attention and gave me a big push upwards. The track was actually very simple, kind of funky disco with a lot of old school percussions inside and it was very catchy.

¿De dónde eres?Soy del norte de Alemania, pero ahora vivo en Lisboa la mayor parte del tiempo y ocasionalmente en Berlín, donde tengo mi

estudio y paso mucho tiempo trabajando.

¿Cuál ha sido tu evolución personal como productor y DJ desde tus comienzos?Al principio empecé como DJ de hip hop. Tenía 17 años cuando me regalaron mi primer SL-1200 y acababa de empezar a pinchar. Fui influenciado por ese tipo de estilo de hip hop y en esa época también estaba en una banda de hip hop. Unos años más tarde decidimos rapear y yo empecé a producir, pero sin ninguna experiencia, así que utilizabamos algunos beats libres de copyright que podíamos rapear en nuestros conciertos en Hamburgo. La razón por la cual me enganché con la música house es principalmente que mi madre era periodista de música y tenía todo tipo de discos de vinilo en casa. Había todo tipo de música, incluido música pop alemana y también algunos discos de Mousse T. Desde allí me interesé más y más en esa música y, con el tiempo, también encontré una conexión entre el hip hop y el house. Como productor me enseñé a mí mismo y, por supuesto, cometí muchos errores, pero cuando puse mis manos en Ableton me sentí realmente feliz con el flujo de trabajo. Fue una evolución muy lenta y me llevó un par de años lograr los ritmos adecuados.

Durante tu carrera, has lanzado tu música en sellos discográficos muy importantes. ¿Cuál de tus producciones es tu favorita y por qué?Creo que es Ruffline en 8 bit Records, porque es el lanzamiento que tuvo mucho éxito y me dio un gran impulso hacia arriba. La pista era en realidad muy simple, una especie de funky disco con muchas percusiones de la vieja escuela dentro y era muy


pegadiza. Mucha gente la tocó, incluso Carl Cox y Nic Fanciulli y fue número 1 o 2 en el ranking de Beatport, así que ha sido la primera pista que realmente me dio un poco de un éxito publicitario. De hecho, defino la música que hago no muy orientada a esto, así que me sorprendió y me alegró mucho.

¿Cuáles son tus planes para el verano en Ibiza?Principalmente tocaré en Amnesia en 7 shows para Do Not Sleep y tengo 1 show en Pacha el lunes para Masquerade.

Y por último, ¿are you Night or Day?Day. Me encanta estar activo durante el día, pero por la noche me encanta dormir, eso es muy importante para mí.

And finally, are you Night or Day?Day. I love to be active during the day, at night I love to sleep, that’s really important for me.

What do you do for a living?I work in the Barcelona scene organizing parties in collaboration with the best clubs and restaurants in the city.

How would you describe your events?According to my friends, the number and type of women who always participate is the key to the success of my events, and in part I agree with them... (laughs)Although I think it’s something else. In other words, a whole set of things that make people who work interact with customers, and that makes customers feel at ease... that’s why at each party I have different collaborators who help me.

What are your events for this year?My events for 2019 are: MAMASAN every Friday at Ikibana Sarrià (with a break from May to the end of September), MIMOSA in the summer season in the beach area and VENDETTA, my most successful party, in winter all Sundays at El Patron, and now in summer I’m going to do 7 dates in different places next to the beach.

¿De qué te ocupas?Trabajo en la movida de Barcelona organizando fiestas en colaboración con los mejores clubes y restaurantes de la

ciudad.

¿Cómo describirías tus eventos?Según mis amigos la clave del éxitos de mis eventos son la cantidad y el nivel de mujeres que siempre participan y en parte le doy la razón... (ríe)Aunque creo que sea algo más. O sea todo un conjunto de cosas que hacen que la gente que trabaja interactúe con los clientes y eso hace que los clientes estén a gusto.. por eso en cada fiesta tengo diferentes colaboradores que me ayudan.

¿Cuáles son tus eventos para este año?Mis eventos para 2019 son: MAMASAN todos los viernes en Ikibana Sarrià (con una pausa de mayo a final de septiembre), MIMOSA en la temporada de verano en la zona de la playa, VENDETTA, mi fiesta con más éxito, en invierno todos los domingos en el Patrón y ahora en verano haré 7 fechas en diferentes lugares adyacentes a la playa.

The new technologies have changed significantly in particular the figure of the DJ, whose role is almost symbiotically linked to that of the producer. He had just come back from London where he had worked for a few months, and in the Rimini branch of a music store in Forlì, New Rels, he went looking for a record (Nicoletta Larson’s Lotta Love). The shop was coincidentally for sale, so he decided to embark on this adventure, which still lasts today. He began by focusing on mail order, so as not to compete with other existing stores, but over time, he increasingly approached the world of DJs, and became the most famous DJ Point in Italy and beyond. All the DJs of Italy and also of the world have come there at least once to get their hands on those “records filing cabinets”, and to listen to the records on the turntables of Disco Più, or try to be the first to get a ‘promo’ and play it in trendy venues. Everyone, even the greatest ones, like Frankie Knuckles or Francois Kevorkian, just to name a few.

Pero quien, como yo, ha tenido la suerte de experimentar esta evolución, para bien o para mal, sabe que la verdadera figura profesional del DJ siempre ha estado vinculada a una tienda de discos. Entre estas tiendas, hay una, que siempre ha sido un punto de referencia para DJs y fanáticos, en Italia, pero también en el mundo y que, a pesar de todos los cambios, sigue en la cima de la ola: es DISCO PIU’ de Rimini, que en junio celebra 40 años de actividad. El DJ Shop, especializado en la venta de discos y equipos profesionales para DJs, está activo desde 1979 y está dirigido por Gianni Zuffa, un empresario con visión de futuro y pionero de las modas, que nunca ha renunciado a las dificultades y siempre ha sabido interpretar los cambios y las tendencias, analizando de la mejor manera los movimientos de la industria. Gianni nos cuenta que comenzó en junio de 1979, casi por casualidad. Acababa de regresar de Londres, donde había trabajado durante unos meses y se fue a buscar un disco (Lotta Love de Nicoletta Larson) en la sucursal de Rimini de una tienda de música en Forlì, New Rels. Early this year, one of the most iconic figures in Ibiza passed away, a symbol of that hedonistic spirit that made the island so famous: Tony Pike. I’ve started DJing on the beaches, my book is already on the market, and I’ve just celebrated 50 years in style!   Where can we see you this summer? Empecé a pinchar en las playas, mi libro ya está en el mercado y ¡acabo de celebrar 50 años a lo grande!   ¿Dónde podemos escucharte este verano? lately been criticizing how much the island has changed, but in fact the essential stays the same.   After so many years collaborating with well-known venues such as Café del Mar or Space Ibiza (now Hï Ibiza), how has the nightlife on the island changed in recent years? The only thing that has changed much is the music programming, which used to be only house and techno. But I haven’t been part of the world of the night for a while, I prefer working in the day or afternoon.   How does it feel to have been part of such a legendary time for Ibiza? Is there something that you remember with more affection of those years? Like many people who came here in the nineties, we belong to the Space generation. Obviously then there was more freedom and more authentic parties. One of my best memories is the last closing of Space, that special day where I was lucky enough to play. The energy was incredible and it had been a while since I used to hear people singing the songs in a nightclub.   In general, what have been the best moments in your musical career? I have many fantastic memories of the eight years spent at Cafe del Mar, like at Pacha and Space. I especially remember that in 1998 I had the lucky chance to close Space’s Terrace on the day of the closing party because one of the DJs had missed his plane... it was incredible!

Is there any emerging DJ that you would like to recommend to our readers? There are many good DJs you don’t hear play on the island. I get tired of seeing the same DJs everywhere, but I’m curious to go listen to Lee Burridge in Cova Santa and Dixon at Pacha.

mucho que la isla ha cambiado pero en realidad lo esencial sigue intacto.   Después de tantos años colaborando con locales muy conocidos como Café del Mar o Space Ibiza (ahora Hï Ibiza), ¿cómo ha cambiado la movida en la isla en los últimos años? Lo único que ha cambiado mucho es la programación musical, que antes solo era house y techno. Pero yo hace mucho tiempo que me quité del mundo de la noche y prefiero trabajar de día o de tarde.   ¿Qué se siente al haber sido parte de una época tan legendaria para Ibiza? ¿Hay algo que recuerdas con más cariño de estos años? Como mucha gente que llegó aquí en los años noventa, somos de la generación Space. Obviamente entonces había más libertad y fiestas más auténticas. Uno de mis mejores recuerdos es el último cierre de Space, ese día tan especial donde tuve la suerte de pinchar. La energía era increíble y hacía tiempo que no se escuchaba gente cantar los temas en una discoteca.   En general, ¿cuáles han sido los mejores momentos en tu carrera musical? De los 8 años que estuve en Cafe del Mar tengo muchísimos recuerdos fantásticos, como en Pacha y Space. En particular me acuerdo que en 1998 tuve la suerte de cerrar la terraza de Space el dia del closing party porque uno de los DJ perdió el avión... ¡fue increíble!   ¿Hay algún DJ emergente que te gustaría recomendar a nuestros lectores? Hay muchos DJ buenos que no se escuchan tanto en la isla. Me cansa ver los mismos DJ por todas partes pero tengo curiosidad para ir a escuchar Lee Burridge en Cova Santa y Dixon en pacha.

the apartments themselves that are now also changed and new. Let’s say that we have set out a space that didn’t exist before. We also have a secret room, it used to be a club built many years ago but it wasn’t operating. We actually started using it this winter organising some parties, like Keep On Dancing. So we are now a proper club, not just a beach club. You actually have promoters who work every day. Can you tell us a bit about your parties? It’s already been six years since we started running small parties with very well-known resident DJs from the island, such as Oliver and Javi Muñoz. We now also host bigger names, like Music On, Go Deep with Dan Ghenacia, Vagabundos that will have a couple of dates, and Keep On Dancing,

When will we see you again in the booth?!Well, I’m like bullfighters, who say they retire, but then they always come back! The truth is that I keep playing and from time to time I play with the residents here.

Has the usual day-time atmosphere at Bora Bora changed? It still has a party atmosphere but without so many VIPs. We continue with the same spirit. This is how it all started, and we want to keep it being the same.

It’s almost like going back to the origin...Of course, that’s why there are many more Ibizan people involved. We have made the effort and taken the risk of collaborating with winter events. We had never opened in winter before.

Is there anything else you want to tell people to get them to come to Bora Bora Ibiza?That they can come to eat well, dance and enjoy... You don’t think that’s enough?!

¿El ambiente de día de toda la vida en Bora Bora ha cambiado?Sigue siendo un ambiente de fiesta pero sin tantos vip. Seguimos con este espíritu. Así se creó y así queremos seguir manteniendolo.

Es casi un poco como volver a la origen...Claro, por eso hay mucha más gente ibicenca involucrada. Hemos hecho el esfuerzo y asumido el riesgo de colaborar con fiestas puntuales en el invierno. Hasta ahora nunca se había abierto en el invierno.

Rich, very rich as always is this year’s programme of Sónar Barcelona, which is exceptionally taking place in July, from Thursday 18th to Saturday 20th. A one-month shift compared to its traditional calendar. This exceptional news had already been announced during last year’s edition, as well as the festival’s return to its regular schedule in 2020.

Expected 140 performances spread across nine stages: among the outstanding names on stage are A$AP Rocky, Skepta, Disclosure (DJ set), Paul Kalkbrenner, Dixon, Amelie Lens, Floating Points (SonarCar 6 hour set), Four Tet, Arca, Vince Staples, Kaytranada, Underworld, Jlin, DJ Koze, Fennesz, Lorenzo Senni, Theo Parrish, Sevdaliza and MC Dellafuente. Artists who, as always, let the Catalan festival explore the most varied dimensions of electronic music, satisfying both those who love discovering new sound frontiers and those who don’t want to break away from their comfort zone. It’s always worth remembering that at appointments of this level, it is mainly global experience, not the single performance that counts.

And we know that, Sónar isn’t just music, although of the highest quality. Just think of Sónar +D, taking place at basically the same time as Sónar, from Wednesday 17th to Saturday 20th July, as usual in the daytime areas of the Fira Montjuïc. The Catalan festival is truly a cultural laboratory, that can range from any form of art. Just think of film director Sergio Caballero, one of the co-founders of Sónar.

His short film ‘Je te tiens’, starring Ángela Molina and Virginia Rousse, was presented as a world preview at the 72nd edition of Cannes Film Festival, as it was chosen among the films in the ‘51st Directors’ Fortnight section: a work extrapolated from the promotional campaigns of the 2019 Sónar edition.

Y como siempre, Sónar no es solo música, aunque sí de la más alta calidad. Basta pensar en, Sónar +D, que se lleva a cabo al mismo tiempo que Sónar, desde el miércoles 17 hasta el sábado 20 de julio, siempre en los espacios diurnos de Fira Montjuïc. Un real congreso dedicado a la tecnología, la creatividad y los negocios, este año +D está dedicado en particular al impacto de la inteligencia artificial en la creatividad, al igual que no dejará de analizar en qué se convertirá Internet en los próximos treinta años. Gracias también a la presencia de una serie de expertos en diseño audiovisual.

The upcoming Social Music City events in Milan are just as sparkling. After Circoloco, Afterlife and elrow, Paul Kalkbrenner is taking over on Sunday 9th June. He’s definitely a crucial figure in the varied universe of electronic music; just think of his 8 albums, live shows at the best world festivals, the film “Berlin Calling” and its soundtrack. A real prototype, impossible to replicate. Together with Kalkbrenner, Agents Of Time and Mind Against. Saturday 22nd June, Social the line-up sees three undisputed top DJs such as Marco Carola, Loco Dice and Paco Osuna. Following, as usual, an after-party at Amnesia Milano.

72 hours of non-stop sunshine are the best way forward for the sixth edition of Secret Solstice, scheduled in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd June. Its line up isn’t just about electronic music - Robert Plant & Sensational Space Shifters and Patti Smith and Band are just an example- but, like in all festivals, its DJs are ready to take the lion’s share with names such as Martin Garrix, James Zabiela and Patrice Bäumel. Some of the locations of the Icelandic festival, such as the Lava Tunnel and The Glacier are rather atypical, with a programme that this year also includes Ragnarök after-parties. Will Thor maybe be its special guest?

Fue el mismo Butt a dar un paso atrás, debido a las dudas de algunos fanáticos de Prodigy que habían visto en esta iniciativa intenciones especulativas y promocionales.

72 horas de sol ininterrumpido son el mejor camino para la sexta edición de Secret Solstice, programada en Reikiavik, la capital de Islandia, del viernes 21 al domingo 23 de junio. Su lineup no trata solo de música electrónica, Robert Plant & Sensational Space Shifters y Patti Smith and Band son solo un ejemplo, sino que, como en todos los festivales, los DJs están listos para llevarse la parte del león con nombres como Martin Garrix, James Zabiela y Patrice Bäumel. Glastonbury is back stronger and more varied than ever, after its traditional break last year. From Wednesday 26th to Sunday 30th June the “Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts” is offering music as well as theatre, cinema and various art shows. The headliners? The Killers, The Cure, Stormzy, Kylie and Janet Jackson. As for electronic music and such, Chemical Brothers, Hot Chip and Jon Hopkins are those who stand out; it has however been cancelled the “Keith Flint Appreciation Hour”, a DJ set tribute to the Prodigy leader, who committed suicide early this year and which was supposed to be organised by former band member Gizz Butt. It was the same Butt to take a step back, due to the doubts of some Prodigy fans who saw in this event some speculative and promotional intentions.

Kappa FuturFestival returns on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July in the futuristic location at Parco Dora in Turin, ready to confirm itself as one of the most important electronic music European festivals. These are just some of the most outstanding names announced for the 2019 edition: Amelie Lens, Boys Noize, Carl Cox, Charlotte de Witte, Dana Ruh, Enrico Sangiuliano, Jamie Jones, Nic Fanciulli, Patrick Topping, Peggy Gou, Richie Hawtin and Vitalic live (phase one), Apollonia (Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom, Shonky), Denis Sulta, Derrick May, Enzo Siragusa, Modeselektor Live, Nina Kraviz, Rossko, San Proper, Seth Troxler, Solomun and William Djoko (phase two), Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, The Black Madonna, Len Faki and Lollino (phase three). .

Electronic music for all tastes, with the 18th edition of Airbeat One, scheduled from Wednesday 10th to Sunday 14th July in Neustadt-Glewe, in northern Germany. Expected over 200 DJs, with the main stage dedicated to India this year, after having honoured Italy, Great Britain, Japan and the United States in the past. Among the confirmed names are those of Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Sebastian Ingrosso, Martin Solveig, as well as the presence of a hardstyle stage thanks to Q-Dance, an absolute trademark for this type of sound, and DJs such as Headhunterz and Noisecontrollers.

Milán celebra el Festival de Música Europeo de la mejor manera, gracias a la primera edición de Love Music Park, programada de Viernes 21 a domingo 23 de junio en Parco Forlanini. El Día de la Música nació en París en 1982 gracias al entonces Ministro de Cultura Jack Lang, y desde 1995 ha adquirido una dimensión continental, con la intención de celebrar el solsticio de verano con una serie de eventos musicales que involucran a las comunidades más heterogéneas. Love Music Park está organizado por Unconventional Events, tres días de música, deportes, diversas artes y comida callejera con entrada gratuita y una propuesta artística decididamente variada. Se empieza el viernes 21 con la música electrónica de Stefano Fontana, Alex Neri, Supernova y Stefano Noferini, así como otros invitados especiales que se revelarán en los próximos días. El sábado 22 es el turno de UDJ, United Deejays, un evento que por primera vez llega a Milán. El domingo 23 gran final con el Holi Dance Festival, la fiesta de colores, que este año se prepara para una gira italiana que visitará los centros turísticos de verano más importantes.

Milan celebrates the European Music Festival in the best way, thanks to the first edition of Love Music Park, taking place from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd June at Parco Forlanini. The Fête de la Musique, also known as Music Day, was born in Paris in 1982 thanks to the then Minister of Culture Jack Lang, and since 1995 it has taken on a continental dimension, with the intention of celebrating the summer solstice with a series of musical events that involve the most heterogeneous communities. Love Music Park is organized by Unconventional Events, three days of music, sports, various arts and street food with free entry and a very much varied artistic proposal.

It starts on Friday 21st with the electronic sounds of Stefano Fontana, Alex Neri, Supernova and Stefano Noferini, as well as other special guests that will be revealed in the next days. Saturday 22nd sees on stage UDJ, that is United Deejays, an event for the first time in Milan. Sunday 23rd grand finale with Holi Dance Festival, the colour festival, this year on an Italian tour that will visit the most important summer resorts.

Anoche llamé a mi querido amigo Christian que vive en Ibiza. Somos amigos desde hace mucho tiempo, compartimos el interés y la pasión por la música y nos gusta hablar sobre temas ambientales. Mantenemos estos temas siempre activos y en el centro de nuestras conversaciones. Siempre estamos discutiendo la posibilidad de encontrar soluciones para los errores cometidos por el uso indebido de algunas tecnologías en este siglo (tenemos la posibilidad de usar papel de piedra sostenible para imprimir, de reciclar, de preocuparnos por el valor del agua y la reforestación, etc.).

Volviendo a nuestra llamada telefónica, mientras hablaba, me di cuenta de que esta vez nuestra conversación tenía un significado diferente. Me di cuenta de que hablabamos de contenidos muy similares sobre un estudio universitario llamado “DEEP ADAPTATION” (Adaptación profunda), un documento que trata temas relacionados con nuestro ecosistema, con un punto de vista diferente y con enfoques bastante aterradores.

Last night I called my dear friend Christian that lives in Ibiza. We have been friends for long time and we share an interest and passion for music and we like to talk about environmental issues. We keep these topics always active and at the center of our conversations. We are always discussing the possibly to find solutions for the mistakes made by the improper use of some technologies in this century (we have the possibly to use sustainable stone paper to print, recycle, care about the value of water and reforestation, etc.).

Going back to our phone call, while talking, I realised that this time our conversation had a different meaning. I realised that we talked about very similar contents of a university study called “DEEP ADAPTATION”, a document that deals with matters related to our ecosystem, with a different point of view and with quite scary approaches.
