Esta alarma puede memorizar hasta 4 controles remotos con tecnología anti - clonación de códigos variables “CODE HOPPING”.

LED INDICADOR

El foco LED está instalado en el interior del vehículo y le indica el estado de la alarma, los cuales pueden ser:

Encendido constante: Alarma en modo Valet. Destellando lentamente: Alarma activada. Destellando rápidamente: Alarma próxima a activarse. Destella 2 veces y pausa: Alarma disparada por apertura de capó o baúl. Destella 3 veces y pausa: Alarma disparada por apertura de puertas. Destella 4 veces y pausa: Alarma disparada por activación del sensor.

ARMADO DEL SISTEMA

Presione una vez el botón la sirena emitirá un sonido y las luces exteriores destellarán una vez confirmando que la alarma está armada. Si la sirena emitiera otros 3 sonidos largos, la alarma le estaría indicando que alguna puerta, el capó o el baúl están mal cerrados.

ARMADO EN SILENCIO (SIN SONIDO DE CONFIRMACIÓN)

Presione el botón e inmediatamente después presione el botón , las luces exteriores destellarán 1 vez confirmando que la alarma ha sido armada en silencio. Si desea anular los sonidos de confirmación al armar el sistema de alarma de manera constante, debe deshabilitar la función No. 03 del sistema.

ARMADO AUTOMÁTICO (AUTO ACTIVACIÓN)

La alarma se activará automáticamente 30 segundos después de haber apagado el vehículo y haber cerrado correctamente las puertas (Opcional a 20 ó 10 segundos). Al cerrar la última puerta las luces destellarán 2 veces confirmando el inicio del conteo de los 30 segundos.

Abriendo cualquier puerta antes de los 30 segundos el armado automático será suspendido y reiniciará nuevamente al cerrar la última puerta. Cuando la alarma se encuentra armada, el LED se encenderá de forma intermitente lenta indicando que la alarma esta lista para proteger al vehículo, cada vez que se arme la alarma se pondrá seguro en las puertas y los vidrios subirán automáticamente.

Para evitar el armado automático cuando alguien se encuentra dentro del vehículo mueva la ignición del vehículo a la posición de contacto (ON) y regrésela a la posición OFF, el LED se apagará y el armado automático se detendrá. Consulte al instalador por el armado automático sin seguro en puertas o la anulación del armado automático.

DESARMADO DEL SISTEMA

Para desarmar la alarma presione una vez el botón , la sirena emitirá dos sonidos y las luces exteriores destellarán dos veces indicando que la alarma ha sido desarmada. Las puertas quedarán sin seguro si tiene conectado el bloqueo central a la alarma. Si al desarmar la alarma escuchara 4 sonidos en lugar de 2 y las luces exteriores destellaran 4 veces, la alarma le estaría indicando que fue disparada mientras estaba armada, por seguridad revise el vehículo.

DESARMADO EN SILENCIO (SIN SONIDOS DE CONFIRMACIÓN)

Presione el botón e inmediatamente después presione el botón las luces exteriores destellarán dos veces para confirmar que la alarma ha sido desarmada en silencio. Si desea anular los sonidos de confirmación al desarmar el sistema de alarma de manera constante, debe deshabilitar la función No. 03 del sistema.

DESARMADO CON SIRENA SONANDO

Presione una vez el botón o el botón , la sirena será silenciada e inmediatamente después presione el botón para desarmar la alarma.

DESARMADO MANUAL DE EMERGENCIA SIN CONTROL REMOTO

1. Abra el vehículo con la llave, insértela en el switch de ignición

2. Mueva la llave hasta la posición de contacto (ON)

3. Presione 6 veces seguidas el botón valet

4. La sirena emitirá 2 sonidos y la alarma se desarmará inmediatamente.

Si la función PIN CODE está activada, ingrese el código programado y después de 2 segundos la alarma se desarmará. Si es que ingresa un código incorrecto, mueva la llave del vehículo a posición de apagado (OFF) e inmediatamente a posición de contacto (ON) e ingrese el código correcto para desarmar la alarma.

DESARMADO PERMANENTE - MODO VALET

Utilice esta función cuando el vehículo es llevado a algún tipo de servicio técnico, de mantenimiento o lavado.

MODO VALET VÍA CONTROL REMOTO 1. Mueva la llave del vehículo a posición de contacto (ON) o enciéndalo

2. Presione de forma pausada 2 veces seguidas el botón

3. Presione por aproximadamente 5 segundos el botón

MODO VALET POR MEDIO DEL BOTÓN VALET 1. Mueva la llave del vehículo a posición de contacto (ON) o enciéndalo.

2. Presione por aproximadamente 5 segundos el botón valet. Al ingresar a modo valet en cualquiera de las 2 formas el foco LED quedará encendido de manera constante, indicando que la alarma está anulada. Sin embargo los controles remoto si podrán operar los seguros eléctricos, la función pánico, la apertura del baúl eléctrico y el tercer canal. Para restablecer la alarma debe repetir cualquiera de las 2 formas que se utilizan para ingresar al modo valet, esta vez el foco indicador LED se apagará, indicando que la alarma está funcionando normalmente.

El botón valet fue instalado en un lugar oculto en el interior de su vehículo, el conductor debe conocer la ubicación exacta de éste. SENSOR DE GOLPES

El sensor de golpes ha sido diseñado para detectar la mayoría de los movimientos del vehículo tal como un impacto o movimiento brusco. Si el vehículo recibe un golpe suave la sirena emitirá 5 sonidos rápidos para alertar al intruso y las luces exteriores del vehículo destellarán 2 veces. Si el vehículo recibe un golpe o impacto fuerte la sirena sonará por 30 segundos y las luces exteriores destellarán intermitentemente por igual tiempo.

El nivel de sensibilidad es ajustado por el instalador y deberá ser óptimo, ya que un sensor muy sensible, podría causar falsas alarmas.

REARMADO AUTOMÁTICO

La alarma se rearmará automáticamente si después de ser desarmada desde el control remoto, ninguna puerta es abierta durante 30 segundos. ANULACIÓN DEL SENSOR EXTERNO

Si va a estacionar el vehículo en un lugar donde hay mucho ruido, vibraciones o alto tráfico, puede desactivar temporalmente el sensor externo del sistema para evitar que se dispare y genere falsas alarmas. Presione una vez el botón para armar la alarma e inmediatamente después presione el botón la sirena emitirá un sonido indicando que la alarma ha sido armada pero por esa ocasión sin protección del sensor externo.

ANULACIÓN DEL SENSOR Y DE LA PROTECCIÓN DE PUERTAS

Si es necesario dejar el vehículo protegido por el sistema de alarma, pero a la vez dejar alguna puerta abierta, puede excluir temporalmente esta zona, presione una vez el botón para armar la alarma e inmediatamente después presione el botón . La sirena emitirá un sonido indicando que la alarma ha sido armada pero por esa ocasión no protegerá las puertas, capó y baúl, ni tampoco tendrá la protección del sensor externo. FUNCIÓN PÁNICO

Cuando desee mostrar que el vehículo cuenta con un sistema de alarma y así alejar a extraños que estén rodeando el vehículo, puede activar la función pánico manteniendo presionado el botón por 3 segundos y la sirena sonará por 30 segundos. Para cancelar esta función oprima una vez el botón o el botón y la sirena dejará de sonar, si el sistema se encuentra en modo armado no se desarmará al apagar el pánico. FUNCIÓN LUZ DE CORTESÍA (LUZ DE SALÓN)

Cada vez que desarme la alarma la luz del interior del vehículo se encenderá durante 30 segundos para visualizar el interior del auto y se apagará al encender el vehículo, poner la llave en contacto o al armar de nuevo el sistema de alarma.

APERTURA DE BAÚL ELÉCTRICO

Esta función le permite abrir el maletero del vehículo de manera remota mediante el control de la alarma, presionando el botón durante 2 segundos, el baúl eléctrico se abrirá automáticamente. Si el vehículo no tiene baúl eléctrico original de fábrica debe instalar uno universal.

MANEJO DE SEGUROS ELÉCTRICOS VÍA CONTROL REMOTO

Si tiene conectado los seguros eléctricos con la alarma, al armar se pondrá seguro y al desarmar se quitará seguro en las puertas. Si el vehículo está encendido, presione el botón y se pondrá seguro o presione el botón y se quitará seguro en las puertas. SEGUROS ELÉCTRICOS AL ENCENDIDO Y APAGADO

Si tiene conectado los seguros eléctricos con la alarma, al encender el vehículo se pondrá seguro y al apagarlo se quitará seguro en las puertas, pero si al encender el vehículo hay alguna puerta abierta no se pondrá seguro en las puertas. Para desactivar esta función consulte a su instalador.

FUNCIÓN DE UBICACIÓN VISUAL DEL VEHÍCULO

Cuando necesite ubicar su vehículo en un estacionamiento puede usar la función de ubicación visual, presionando el botón de manera normal, la sirena emitirá seis (6) sonidos y las luces exteriores destellarán 6 veces facilitando la ubicación del vehículo. Esta función solamente se puede usar si la alarma se encuentra en modo armado.

FUNCIÓN RECONOCIMIENTO DEL CONDUCTOR (Programable)

Al desarmar la alarma con el control remoto el sistema se desactivará de manera normal, pero el motor del vehículo permanecerá electrónicamente bloqueado, para encender el vehículo debe indicarle al sistema de alarma

que se trata del propietario o un conductor autorizado, para identificarse realice el siguiente procedimiento: 1. Presione el botón del control remoto para desarmar la alarma.

2. Sin la llave insertada en el switch o con la llave del auto en posición

de apagado (OFF) presione 2 veces el botón valet y el motor será desbloqueado.

Inserte la llave del vehículo en el switch, muévala a posición de contacto (ON) y podrá encender el vehículo de manera normal. FUNCIÓN PIN CODE (CÓDIGO DE SEGURIDAD)

Esta función le permite personalizar el número de veces que debe presionar el botón valet para el desarmado manual de emergencia sin control remoto y para salir del anti asalto cuando éste se encuentra activado. Para activar esta función consulte a su instalador. FUNCIÓN ANTI ASALTO

El sistema cuenta con 4 modalidades de activación de la función anti asalto: mediante el control remoto, por puerta del conductor, por ignición y/o por transmisor de presencia. Después de activarse el anti asalto por cualquiera de las 4 modalidades, las luces exteriores destellarán dos veces y el foco LED se encenderá de forma intermitente rápida (puede también elegir que la sirena emita dos sonidos de confirmación), luego de 30 segundos la sirena emitirá sonidos cortos y continuos, las luces exteriores se encenderán intermitentemente, 15 segundos después el motor comenzará a bloquearse y después de otros 15 segundos el vehículo se apagará y quedará bloqueado. Si la alarma está conectada a los seguros y vidrios eléctricos, al apagarse el motor se pondrá seguro en las puertas y los vidrios subirán automáticamente.

ACTIVACIÓN DEL ANTI ASALTO POR CONTROL REMOTO

Con el vehículo encendido o la llave en posición de contacto (ON), presione durante 3 segundos simultáneamente los botones y del control remoto y el anti asalto se activará. Se recomienda traer la llave del vehículo de manera separada a los controles remoto de la alarma.

ACTIVACIÓN DEL ANTI ASALTO POR PUERTA DEL CONDUCTOR

Con el vehículo encendido o la llave en posición de contacto (ON), abra la puerta del conductor y al cerrarla el anti asalto será activado. Consulte a su instalador si desea activar el anti asalto con todas las puertas.

ACTIVACIÓN DEL ANTI ASALTO POR ENCENDIDO (IGNICIÓN)

Cada vez que el vehículo es encendido o se mueve la llave a posición de contacto (ON) el anti asalto se activará automáticamente. (Puede elegir que la activación sea 30 segundos más tarde). ACTIVACIÓN DEL ANTI ASALTO POR PROXIMIDAD (OPCIONAL)

Con el vehículo encendido o la llave en posición de contacto (ON) si el transmisor de presencia o proximidad se encuentra alejado del vehículo o si el transmisor está apagado, el anti asalto será activado. Para utilizar esta función necesita un transmisor de proximidad adicional. DESACTIVACIÓN DEL ANTI ASALTO

Sin importar cuál fue la modalidad de activación del anti asalto el procedimiento para desactivarlo siempre es el mismo: con el auto encendido o la llave posición de contacto (ON), presione una vez (1) vez el botón valet y el anti asalto será desactivado.

Si el PIN CODE está activado ingrese el código programado y después de 2 segundos el anti asalto será cancelado. Si es que ingresa un código

incorrecto debe mover la llave del vehículo a posición de apagado (OFF) e inmediatamente a posición de contacto o encendido (ON) nuevamente e ingresar el código correcto para cancelar el anti asalto. En caso de haber modificado el PIN CODE de fábrica (6) y se olvida del nuevo código ingresado, puede restablecer el PIN CODE inclusive con el anti asalto activado (Ver Como restablecer PIN CODE página 7). Para cancelar el anti asalto no es necesario esperar a que la sirena se active o que el vehículo se apague, lo puede hacer en cualquier momento.

TRANSMISOR DE PRESENCIA O PROXIMIDAD

Si la función de anti asalto por proximidad está activada, es necesario antes de encender el vehículo, poner en funcionamiento el transmisor de presencia presionando de manera constante el botón del transmisor durante 5 segundos, el LED del transmisor oscilará indicando que ha quedado encendido y enviará una señal a la unidad de la alarma cada 8 segundos para indicarle que está cerca al vehículo y evitar la activación del anti asalto. Para apagar el transmisor luego de haber apagado el motor del vehículo, presione el botón del transmisor durante 5 segundos de manera constante hasta que el LED de transmisor emita 5 destellos indicando que ha quedado apagado. Si olvidase encender el transmisor antes del encender el vehículo y la función de anti asalto apagara el auto, es necesario desactivar el anti asalto de manera normal ya que el sistema de alarma no recibe señal de ningún transmisor ni control remoto cuando se dispara a modo de anti asalto.

PROGRAMACIONES POR CONTROL REMOTO

1. Ingrese a modo valet e inmediatamente después presione 5 veces seguidas el botón valet, la sirena emitirá varios sonidos cortos y rápidos indicando que ha ingresado al modo de programación de funciones. 2. Presione el botón valet un número de veces igual de acuerdo a la función que desea programar (ver tabla de funciones). Cada vez que presione el botón valet la sirena emitirá sonidos de confirmación contando el número de veces que presionó el botón valet, tal y como se indica a continuación: Sonido Número Un sonido corto 1 Dos sonidos cortos 2 Tres sonidos cortos 3 Cuatro sonidos cortos 4 Un sonido largo 5 Ejemplos: - Si presiona 8 veces el botón valet escuchara 1 sonido largo y 3 sonidos cortos indicando que está en la función programable #8 - Si presiona 14 veces el botón valet escuchará 2 sonidos largos y 4 sonidos cortos indicando que está en la función programable #14 Puede ir directo a la programación que desee sin necesidad de hacerlo en orden.

3. Presione el botón del control remoto que corresponda a la opción que usted desee elegir en cada función; cuando ha cambiado la programación de la función deseada, la sirena emitirá de uno a tres sonidos para confirmar cuál fue el botón que ha presionado. 4. La alarma saldrá del modo de programaciones 10 segundos después de no recibir ninguna señal o al mover la llave a posición de apagado (OFF), la sirena emitirá 3 sonidos indicando que las programaciones escogidas han sido guardadas en la memoria de la alarma.

EXPLICACIÓN DE ALGUNAS FUNCIONES PROGRAMABLES

ARMADO CON EXCLUSIÓN DE PUERTAS Esta función permite excluir la señal de los switches de las puertas cuando la luz interior queda encendida luego de cerrar correctamente todas las puertas. Luego de 30 ó 60 segundos (dependiendo de la elección), la alarma incluirá esta zona al sistema de protección.

SALIDA PARA TERCER CANAL

El tercer canal de la alarma, es una salida negativa de 300mA que sirve para activar algún módulo electrónico en el vehículo o para realizar funciones adicionales. De fábrica viene programado para ser usado como señal de activación del módulo eleva vidrios (señal durante 30 segundos luego de activar la alarma). La salida del tercer canal puede ser usada para diferentes funciones retirando el jumper No. 04 e ingresando a la función No. 06 mediante la tabla de programaciones, podrá elegir: Claxon o bocina: seleccione este modo en la función 06, si desea conectar la alarma a la bocina del vehículo; cada vez que la alarma emita una alerta audible, la bocina sonará como si se tratara de la sirena de la alarma. Botones 3 y 4: seleccione este modo en la función 06, si desea usar la salida negativa mediante los botones 3 y 4 del control remoto. Presionando ambos botones por más de 3 segundos, la alarma enviará una señal negativa hasta que suelte de nuevo los botones del control remoto (hasta 15 segundos). 2do pulso de apertura de seguros: Seleccione este modo en la función No. 06, si desea abrir el seguro eléctrico de la puerta del conductor de manera separada a los demás seguros. Al desactivar la alarma, el seguro de la puerta del conductor será abierto, al presionar nuevamente el botón los demás seguros serán abiertos.

ENTRADA DE SENSORES

RADAR (Para conexión de radar): la entrada de sensores solamente funcionará como preaviso y al dispararse la alarma por acción del sensor, la sirena emitirá sonidos tipo radar. 1 ESTADO (Sin pre alarma): La entrada de sensores no tendrá pre-alarma y al activarse la alarma por sensor siempre se disparara tal y como se dispara por apertura de puertas. 2 ESTADOS (Con pre alarma): La entrada de sensores funcionara normalmente, al recibir golpe suave funcionara la pre alarma, golpe fuerte se disparara la sirena por 30 segundos.

Para instalar el radar conéctelo a la entrada de sensor activando la opción RADAR y el sensor de impacto conéctelo al cable de disparo de puertas negativas. PROGRAMACIÓN DEL PIN CODE

Si la función PIN CODE es activada, el CÓDIGO que viene de fábrica es 6, significa que se debe presionar 6 veces el botón valet para cancelar el anti asalto o para desarmado manual de emergencia. Si desea cambiar el PIN CODE fijo de fábrica (6) debe realizar los siguientes pasos: 1. Inserte la llave en el switch e ingrese a MODO VALET 2. En MODO VALET mueva la llave a posición de apagado (OFF) 3. Mueva 3 veces seguidas la llave del vehículo de la posición de apagado (OFF) a la posición de encendido (ON) comenzando en la posición de

apagado (OFF) y terminando el procedimiento nuevamente en la posición de apagado (OFF) de la siguiente forma: (OFF – ON) (OFF – ON) (OFF – ON) (OFF) 4. La sirena emitirá un sonido de confirmación indicando que ha ingresado al modo de programación del PIN CODE 5. Tiene 10 segundos para ingresar su nuevo código de identificación personal (PIN CODE) 6. El nuevo PIN CODE puede ser del 1 al 9, que es el número de veces que debe presionar el botón valet.

Ejemplo: si desea que el nuevo PIN CODE sea 7, debe presionar 7 veces seguidas el botón valet, si desea que sea 5, debe presionar 5 veces seguidas el botón valet.

7. Después de ingresar el nuevo PIN CODE la sirena emitirá un número de sonidos de confirmación igual al número de veces que presionó el botón valet indicando que el nuevo PIN CODE fue memorizado 8. La sirena nuevamente sonará 2 veces confirmando que salió del modo de programación del PIN CODE y la alarma regresará a modo desarmado.

CÓMO RESTABLECER EL PIN CODE

Si olvida el PIN CODE nuevo (y es diferente a 6) puede restablecerlo al número programado de fábrica que es 6, realizando los siguientes pasos: 1. Inserte la llave del auto en el switch y muévala a contacto (ON) 2. Abra cualquier puerta 3. Presione el botón valet 3 veces y al final manténgalo presionado por 10 segundos 4. La alarma será desarmada y el PIN CODE será reseteado al que viene programado de fábrica (6).

CÓMO RESTABLECER LA ALARMA

Para regresar a las funciones como vienen programadas desde fábrica realice los siguientes pasos: 1. Ingrese a modo valet e inmediatamente después presione 5 veces seguidas el botón valet, la sirena emitirá varios sonidos cortos y rápidos, indicando que ha ingresado al modo de programación de funciones,

2. Oprima y mantenga presionado el botón de apertura remota de baúl del control remoto por aproximadamente 5 segundos, la sirena emitirá 6 sonidos de confirmación y las luces exteriores del vehículo destellarán 6 veces indicando que la alarma ha sido restablecida y las funciones están programadas como vienen de fábrica.

CODIFICACIÓN DE CONTROLES REMOTOS

1. Mueva la llave del vehículo a posición de contacto (ON) y presione 5 veces seguidas el botón valet, la sirena emitirá 3 sonidos, 2. Presione una vez cualquier botón del primer control remoto que desea codificar, la sirena emitirá un sonido, 3. Presione una vez cualquier botón del segundo control remoto que desea codificar, la sirena emitirá 2 sonidos, presione cualquier botón del tercer control que desea codificar y la sirena emitirá 3 sonidos y finalmente presione cualquier botón del cuarto control que desea codificar y la sirena emitirá 4 sonidos, 4. Inmediatamente después la sirena emitirá 2 sonidos largos de confirmación indicando que ha ingresado satisfactoriamente los 4 controles remoto, además notificando que ya salió del modo de codificación de controles remoto. Si 10 segundos después del paso 2 no se ingresa ningún control remoto la alarma saldrá de la programación para codificar controles remoto. El transmisor de presencia o proximidad debe estar apagado, y debe codificarse exactamente igual como se codifica cualquier control remoto normal, presionando una vez el botón del transmisor. Al ingresar un nuevo control remoto debe ingresar nuevamente los controles antiguos, ya que por seguridad cuando se ingresa un control remoto nuevo se borran los anteriores. Con cualquier control de la alarma se pueden llenar los 4 espacios de la memoria.

LED LIGHT

Inside your vehicle on the dashboard there is a LED indicator to show the alarm status: ON constantly: Alarm in Valet mode Flashing slowly: Alarm armed Flashing quickly: Alarm next to arming Flash twice and pause: Alarm triggered by hood or trunk signal Flash 3 times and pause: Alarm triggered by doors signal Flash 4 times and pause: Alarm triggered by sensor signal ARMING THE SYSTEM

Press once, the siren will sound once and the exterior lights flash once confirming that the alarm is armed.

If the siren sounds 3 times, the alarm is indicating that a door, hood or trunk are improperly closed. ARMING IN SILENT MODE (WITHOUT SOUND OF CONFIRMATION

Press and immediately press . The exterior lights flash once confirming that the alarm has been armed in silence. To permanently cancel the confirmation sounds when arming the alarm system, function #3 must be disabled.

ARMING AUTOMATICALLY (PASSIVE ARMING)

The alarm will be armed 30 seconds after last door was closed properly (hood and trunk must be closed properly). The vehicle lights will flash twice, to confirm the start of count down. Opening anything within 30 seconds will stop the automatic arming function. It will automatically restart again when closing the last door. When the alarm is in armed mode, the LED light installed inside the vehicle will flash slowly indicating that the alarm is protecting the vehicle. If the door locking system and power windows are connected to the alarm system, each time the system is armed it will automatically lock the doors and close the windows.

To prevent passive arming when someone is inside the vehicle, it is necessary to turn the ignition to the ON position and return it to the OFF position. The LED indicator will go off.

You may choose to have your system auto arm but no lock the doors. (It will however still close power window systems).

The installer of the system must be informed of how you want the auto arming system to operate. You can choose the passive arming at 20 or 10 seconds.

REARMING AUTOMATICALLY (AUTO REARM)

The alarm will be rearmed automatically 30 seconds after being disarmed by remote control if the ignition has not been turned ON and if doors have not been opened.

DISARMING THE SYSTEM

To disarm the alarm system, press once. The siren will beep twice and the exterior lights flash twice indicating that the alarm has been disarmed. If the door locking system is connected to the alarm system, the doors will be unlocked.

DISARMING THE SYSTEM IN SILENCE MODE

Press and immediately press . The exterior lights flash twice to confirm that the alarm has been disarmed in silent mode. To permanently cancel the confirmation sounds, function #3 must be disabled.

DISARMING WITH TRIGGERED ALARM

Press once or press once. The siren will be silenced, immediately press to disarm the alarm.

If, when you disarm the alarm; you hear the siren sound 4 times and the exterior lights flash 4 times, the alarm system is warning you that it was triggered and has reset itself. Check your vehicle immediately.

EMERGENCY DISARM WITHOUT REMOTE CONTROL

1. Open the car with the key, insert it into the ignition switch 2. Move the ignition to the ON position 3. Press the OVERRIDE SWITCH 6 times. (The override switch was installed in a hidden place inside your vehicle) 4. The siren will sound twice and the alarm will disarm immediately.

If the PIN CODE feature is enabled, enter the code that has been programmed, and after 2 seconds the alarm will disarm. If you enter an incorrect code, move the ignition to OFF position and immediately back to the ON position again and enter correct code to disarm the alarm.

VALET MODE

Use this feature when the vehicle is brought to some kind of service, maintenance or cleaning.

VALET VIA REMOTE CONTROL

1. Move the ignition to the ON position.

2. Push twice.

3. Hold 6 seconds.

VALET MODE BY THE OVERRIDE SWITCH

(The override switch was installed in a hidden place inside your vehicle) 1. Move the ignition to the ON position. 2. Press the override switch for 6 seconds. Upon entering valet mode in either of the 2 ways; the LED light will be lit solid, indicating that the alarm is canceled. The remote control will still operate the locks, panic function, power trunk opening and the third channel function. DRIVER RECOGNITION FUNCTION (Programmable)

Each time the alarm system is activated, it also blocks the ignition electronically, when disarming the alarm system it automatically disables the block on the ignition. If the driver recognition function is enabled, disarming the alarm system does not disable the block of the ignition. To start the vehicle the operator must tell the alarm system that they are the owner or authorized driver by the following procedure: 1. Press to disarm the alarm 2. Press the override switch twice with the key out of the ignition or the key in the OFF position; the ignition is now unblocked 3. Insert the vehicle key in the ignition and turn to the ON position and you can start the vehicle normally.

ARMING WITH SENSOR BY PASS*

If you park vehicle in a place where there is a lot of noise, vibration or high traffic, you can temporally disable the external sensor system to prevent false alarms. Press once to arm the alarm system and immediately press . The siren will sound indicating that the alarm has been armed but this time without external sensor protection. * The external sensors can be: impact, volumetric (ultrasonic), perimeter radar, glass breakage or tilt sensor.

ARMING THE ALARM SYSTEM (EXCLUDING SOME AREAS)

If you only want ignition protection (not doors, Hood, trunk or sensors) do the following procedures: Press once to arm the alarm system and immediately press . The siren will sound indicating that the alarm has been armed.

PANIC FUNCTION

When you see a stranger around your vehicle, you can active the panic function to ward them off and make them aware there is an alarm system armed. Hold down for 3 seconds and the siren will sound for 30 seconds. To cancel, press once or and the siren will stop sounding. When the panic function is stopped the alarm system is still armed. CAR FINDER FUNCTION

When you need to locate your vehicle in a parking lot, you can use this feature by pressing once. The siren will chirp 6 times and external lights flash 6 times to make easy the location of the vehicle. This feature can only be used if the alarm system is in armed mode.

ELECTRIC TRUNK OPENING FUNCTION

This feature allows you to open the trunk of the vehicle by remote control. Press for 2 seconds, the power trunk opens automatically and the alarm system will be disarmed (You can choose if disarm or not the alarm when

open the trunk by remote control, see function No. 05 on the features table). The vehicle must have a power trunk release feature for this function.

DOORS LOCK/UNLOCK BY REMOTE CONTROL

When arm and disarm the alarm system the doors will lock or unlock if the door locking system is connected to the alarm system. When the vehicle is running or with the ignition at ON position, you can lock and unlock the doors with the remote control.

IGNTION LOCK/UNLOCK

Turning ON the ignition will lock the doors and turning OFF the ignition will unlock the doors if the door locking system is connected to the alarm. To remove this feature, consult your installer.

DOME LIGHT FUNCTION

When the alarm system is disarmed the interior lights will turn on for 30 seconds, but will turn off when the ignition switch is turn on or the alarm system is rearmed. To active this feature please consult your installer.

ANTI - HIJACK FUNCTION

The anti - hijack function has 4 modes for activation. Either by remote control, driver’s door, by ignition, or far away transmitter.

Upon activation of the anti - hijack function by any one of 4 modes: 1. The exterior lights flash twice and LED light will flash fast. 2. After 30 seconds (from activation) the siren will sound fast beeps and

exterior lights will flash. 3. 15 Seconds later, (45 seconds from activation) the engine will start

failure in slowly way. 4. After other 15 seconds (60 seconds from activation) the engine will be

disabled and block, doors will lock, windows roll up and siren will be trigged.

ANTI - HIJACK BY REMOTE CONTROL

With the car running or the ignition ON, press for 3 seconds at same time the buttons and of the remote control and the anti - hijack will be actived. Recommend bringing the vehicle key separately of the remote control.

ANTI - HIJACK BY DRIVER DOOR

With the car running or the ignition ON, open and close the driver’s door and the anti - hijack will be activated. ANTI - HIJACK BY IGNITION

Each time the vehicle is started or turned the ignition at ON position the anti - hijack is actived automatically. You can choose to active it 30 seconds later. ANTI - HIJACK BY FAR AWAY TRANSMITTER (OPTIONAL)

With the car running or the ignition ON, if far away transmitter is away from the vehicle or if the transmitter is OFF, the anti - hijack will be activated. To use this function needs an additional proximity transmitter.

CANCELING THE ANTI - HIJACK

No matter what was the mode of activation, the procedure to disarm the anti - hijack is always the same; with the car running or the ignition in position ON, press the override switch once, the anti - hijack will be canceled. If the PIN CODE feature is enable, will be necessary press the override switch the same number of times to PIN CODE. If you forget the PIN CODE, please refer “How reset PIN CODE” to cancel the anti - hijack. To cancel the anti - hijack is not necessary to wait until the siren is turned ON or the vehicle is OFF, you can do at any time.

FAR AWAY TRANSMITTER (OPTIONAL)

If the anti - hijack by far away feature is enabled, will be necessary before starting the vehicle turn on the transmitter. Press the transmitter button for 5 seconds, the LED light will flash indicating that has been ON and will be emitting signal to the alarm unit every 8 seconds. When you turn OFF the vehicle, press the transmitter button again for 5 seconds, to turn off the transmitter and save battery.

PIN CODE FUNCTION

This feature allows customizing the number of times to press the override switch for manual disarm without remote control and to exit from the anti - hijack mode. The PIN CODE number default is 6, therefore it must press the override switch 6 times to disarm manually the alarm system; if you need change this code, follow these steps: 1. Turn the ignition at ON position and enter to valet mode, then turn

OFF the ignition, 2. Turn the ignition at ON position and return at OFF position for 3 times;

the siren will chirp once indicating that has entered to programming PIN CODE mode, you have 10 seconds to enter the new PIN CODE number,

3. The new PIN CODE number can be from 1 to 9, which is the number of time to press the override switch now,

4. After entering the new PIN CODE the siren will chirp equal sound numbers to the number of times you pressed the override switch.

HOW RESET PIN CODE

If you forget your PIN CODE (and this is different to 6) can restore the factory preset number following those steps: 1. Insert the car key in the switch and move it to contact position (ON) 2. Open any door 3. Press the override switch 3 times and hold for 10 seconds 4. The alarm will be disarmed and the PIN CODE will be reset to factory number (6).

PROGRAMMING FEATURES

The system has 24 programmable functions, 20 features by remote control and 4 by jumper. To enter in the 20 programming functions mode by remote control, follow these steps: 1. Turn the ignition at ON position and enter to valet mode, immediately

press the override switch 5 times, the siren will chirp 5 sounds indicating that it has entered at programming mode,

2. Press the override switch a number of times equal to the function according to program (see schedule table), each time you press the override switch, the siren will sound indicating the function number entered:

Sound Number One short beep 1 Two short beep 2 Three short beeps 3 Four short beeps 4 A long beep 5 Examples: - If you press the override switch 8 times, will hear 1 long beep and 3 short beeps which indicates the programmable feature #8.

- Pressing the override switch 14 times, will hear 2 long beeps and 4 short beeps which indicates the programmable feature #14. You can go directly to the desired setting without going in order. 3. Press the remote control button that corresponds to the choice you

want to choose to change each function; when you have changed the programming of the desired function, the siren will sound for one to three beeps according the button pressed.

4. The system will exit of programming mode 10 seconds after don’t receive signal or when turn OFF the ignition key, the siren will sound 3 times indicating that the selected features have been stored in the alarm memory.

4. Then the siren will chirp 2 longs confirmation beeps, indicating that has successfully saved the remote controls.

If during 10 seconds after the step 1 the alarm don’t receive signal from any remote control, will exit the code learning mode automatically. The faraway transmitter must be switched OFF; to program this transmitter is exactly as any remote control, pressing the transmitter button once. When a new remote is entered, the older remote controls are erased from the memory, it is necessary to program it again.
