Maratón Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDPLa salida se dará a las 8:30 horas. Habrá tres tandas con objeto de mejorar la comodidad y seguridad de todos los corredores. · A las 8:30 horas partirán todos los atletas acreditados hasta 3h30:59, de acuerdo con el orden previo establecido en las hojas de inscripción. · A las 8:36 horas saldrán todos los atletas participantes que se han inscrito con tiempos entre 3h 31:00 y 4h00:59.· A las 8:42 horas saldrán todos los atletas participantes que se han inscrito con tiempos de 4h 01:00 ó más.

On Sunday the 20th of November: • EMT lines 35, 95 and 99 will offer an special bus service with an increased frequency which will transport the users to the City of Arts and Sciences from 5:30 to 7:30 am. • All lines will be free of charge until 4:00 pm.• The following lines can also take runners close to the City of Arts and Sciences: 1, 13, 14, 15, 19, and 40. El Maratón Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDP recomienda a los corredores la utilización del servicio público de transporte como opción preferente para desplazarse hasta el punto de salida. No obstante, también se ofrece la posibilidad de utilizar los parkings habilitados al efecto.

- Parking 1 Centro Comercial El Saler (recomendado desde el sur y oeste de Valencia)- Parking 2 Centro Comercial Aqua (recomendado desde el norte de Valencia)- Parking 3 Pabellón Fuente San Luis (recomendado desde el sur y oeste de Valencia)- Parking 4 Avenida Antonio Ferrandis- Parking 5 Oceanogràfic (3€/día presentando dorsal)

The Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon encourages runners to travel to the start area using public transport. However, if they take their own cars, there will be the following designated car parks:

APARCAMIENTO PARKING

Se podrá depositar una bolsa por dorsal en el servicio de guardarropía, ubicación: zona de parking de Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. Horario apertura 07:00 AM el domingo, antes de la carrera. Para ello, deberá utilizarse la etiqueta adhesiva con el número del dorsal que encontraréis en el sobre del dorsal. El dorsal será imprescindible para recuperar la bolsa. El guardarropía cerrará a las 15:00 horas.

El servicio para corredores del Maratón Valencia estará en los exteriores. El servicio para corredores de la 10K estará en el interior del parking. No se cogerá ninguna bolsa que no lleve la etiqueta correspondiente con el nº de dorsal.

One bag can be held in the cloakroom service per bib number, location: car park area of the City of Arts and Sciences. The cloakroom opens at 7:00 am on Sunday, before the race. Runners will need the sticker on their bib number to use this service. Runners will not be able to collect their bag without their bib number. The cloakroom closes at 3:00 pm.

This service for Valencia Marathon runners will be on the outside. This service for 10K runners will be inside the car park. If the bag and bib number do not match, bags will not be taken.

Los corredores que quieran utilizar duchas una vez concluido el Maratón Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDP o la carrera 10K Valencia Trinidad Alfonso deberán desplazarse hasta las instalaciones deportivas municipales del polideportivo de Nazaret. C/ Fernando Morrais de la Hora - 46024 Valencia.

Maratón Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDPLos puestos de avituallamiento estarán repartidos a lo largo del circuito en los puntos kilométricos 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 y 40, más un avituallamiento final en meta. El avituallamiento estará compuesto por agua, Powerade y fruta entre otros.La organización pondrá a disposición de los corredores geles de la marca Enervit en los puntos kilométricos 18 y 29.

10K Valencia Trinidad Alfonso Se dispondrá de avituallamiento en el km 5 (agua y Powerade) y en meta.


There will be refreshment stands along the circuit at kilometres 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40, as well as a final stand at the finish line. Runners will be provided with water, Powerade and fruit, among others.The organization will also provide runners with Enervit energetic gels at kilometres 18 and 29.


Refreshments (water and Powerade) will be available at kilometre 5 and at the finish line.

AVITUALLAMIENTO PUNTO DE ASISTENCIA RÁPIDA

Aparte del avituallamiento anunciado, habrá vaselina y réflex para los corredores que serán suministrados por voluntarios a lo largo del recorrido.

Besides refreshments, volunteers will provide runners with Vaseline and Reflex, which is an anti-inflammatory spray, all along the race course.

El avituallamiento estará compuesto por agua Powerade, naranjas y fruta, entre otros.

The provising in the finish line will be made of water, Powerade, oranges and fruit.

Existe un sistema de cronometraje (Bib Tag Mylaps) con chips adheridos al dorsal. Son chips desechables que no requieren fianza.

El dorsal y el chip deben colocarse de manera OBLIGATORIA en el pecho, como indica la Real Federación Española de Atletismo para sus pruebas. De no hacerlo de esta manera, el sistema de control del cronometraje no detectará el paso y no aparecerá en la clasificación.

There is a timing system (Bib Tag Mylaps) with chips attached to the bib number. These are disposable chips that do not require a deposit.

It is COMPULSORY for runners to wear the bib number on their chest, as established by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation. If they are not placed on the chest, the timing control system will not be able to track the pace and runners will not appear on the ranking list.

Maratón Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDPPuedes realizar el recorrido siguiendo el ritmo marcado por los prácticos (corredores que te acompañarán hasta meta con el ritmo adecuado) Llevarán un cartel visible y serán fáciles de identificar. Estos marcarán el ritmo para realizar marcas de 3h, 3h. 15’, 3h. 30’, 3h. 45’, 4h, 4h 15’, 4h 30’ y 5h 00’.

10K Valencia Trinidad Alfonso La prueba no dispondrá de prácticos coordinados por la organización.


There will be runners who set a suitable pace for you to run with them to the finish line. They are ‘pacemakers’ and you can follow them all along the race. They will hold a visible sign that will make them easy to recognize. They will pace groups of runners according to the following finish times: 3h, 3h 15’, 3h 30’, 3h 45’, 4h, 4h 15’, 4h 30’ and 5h 00’.


There will not be pacemakers coordinated by the organization in the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia 10K.

Estos podrán ser consultados y descargados de manera totalmente gratuita.

El Maratón Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDP establece para cada edición lazos de compromiso con una entidad a la que destina todas las recaudaciones de carácter solidario que acompañan a la prueba. Las diferentes aportaciones solidarias ayudan a construir el evento y canalizar la solidaridad de los corredores y de la propia organización, que con sus contribuciones, refuerzan el aspecto social de las múltiples realidades que se brindan en la sociedad.

Para 2016, la entidad solidaria del Maratón Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDP es la Fundación ANAR. Su principal labor es ofrecer ayuda a los niños y jóvenes en riesgo.

La donación de 1€ solidario por cada corredor llegado a meta es quizá la acción más notoria que la organización del Maratón Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDP establece y que más carácter propio destila. Un premio al esfuerzo de cada corredor, impulsado y aportado por la Fundación Trinidad Alfonso, colaborador principal de la prueba, que transforma en solidaridad económica hacia la entidad solidaria, el reto conseguido por cada uno de los llegados a la meta tras superar los 42.195 metros de carrera a pie.

Por otra parte, cabe destacar que son múltiples las vías mediante las cuales, se tiende la mano a la participación solidaria. Todas estas recaudaciones son entregadas a la entidad solidaria, una vez concluido el evento.

Every year the Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon chooses a good cause to become the beneficiary of the charitable fund launched by the race. The array of contributions helps to build the event and to focus the fund-raising efforts of the runners and the organization itself. These donations reinforce the social aspect of the MVTA, and they make a real difference in the lives of those in need.

The charity chosen by the Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon in 2016 is ANAR Foundation. ANAR’s main aim is to provide support to children and teenagers at risk.

Donating €1 to a charity for every runner who crosses the finish line is the most noticeable initiative undertaken by the organizers of the Trinidad Alfonso EDP Valencia Marathon and it is also the one that best defines its character. This initiative was launched by the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation, the event’s main sponsor. The Foundation has committed to make a donation to the charity for every runner who finishes the 42,195 metre race.

However, this is only one of the many initiatives supported by the organizers to help those in need. All the money collected is donated to the charity once the event is over.

La Fundación Trinidad Alfonso quiere de una manera especial agradecer el esfuerzo de los corredores en su compromiso por dejar la ciudad libre de residuos tras una prueba que reúne a gran cantidad de participantes y espectadores. Por ese motivo va a poner de nuevo en marcha la actividad denominada “Recicla tu Esfuerzo”, que consiste en unos puntos de recogida de residuos situados tras las zonas de avituallamiento y meta, ubicados de forma estratégica para la recogida de envases de plástico y residuos orgánicos.

The Trinidad Alfonso Foundation would specially like to thank all runners for their effort and commitment to leave the city free of waste after having enjoyed a race with a huge crowd of both runners and spectators. This is why the so-named ‘Recycle your effort’ initiative will be launched again. There will be two waste disposal points near the refreshment stands and the finish line, which have been strategically located to collect plastic containers and organic waste.

La Paella Party se celebra en el entorno de la Expo Deporte Valencia, en la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. Con tu dorsal, podrás recoger un picnic conformado por un plato de paella, además de bebida, pan y fruta, para disfrutarlo en compañía y en el entorno de las actividades paralelas que se organizan durante el sábado 19 de noviembre. El horario de la Paella Party es de 13:00 a 15:30 horas.

El “paella picnic” de cada corredor es gratuito y se retirará en la zona de los jardines del Museo Príncipe Felipe a través de un ticket que se entregará al recoger el dorsal. Los acompañantes de los corredores podrán obtener su ticket en el lugar de celebración al precio de 5€. Además, la actividad de la Paella Party ofrecerá a todos los asistentes, la realización de exhibiciones de cocina en directo para destacar las cualidades de la gastronomía valenciana y de un producto como es el arroz.

The Paella Party will be held in the surrounding area of Expo Deporte, in the City of Arts and Sciences. When you show your bib number, you will receive a picnic with paella, bread, a drink and a piece of fruit. Enjoy it with your friends and family while you check all the parallel activities that will take place on Saturday the 19th of November. Paella party will start at 1:00 and finish at 3:30 pm.

All runners will receive a free ‘paella picnic’, which can be collected in the green area surrounding the Principe Felipe Museum by showing the ticket that was given to them when collecting the bib number. Those who will not take part in the Marathon can also get their ticket in the venue at the price of €5. In addition, live cooking shows will be held in the Paella Party so that everyone becomes familiar with the superb Valencian cuisine and rice, which is its main ingredient.

La organización y los jueces de carrera no permitirán la entrada en meta con coches de bebes ni niños en brazo o de la mano. A su vez, tampoco se permitirá cruzar la línea de meta a ningún corredor que no lleve el dorsal oficial de la carrera.

El juez árbitro descalificará a todo aquel que:• No cumpla el reglamento oficial de la carrera.• No haya pasado por todas las alfombras lectoras instaladas a lo largo de circuito.• Todo aquel que manipule el dorsal o chip o no lo lleve visible.• Todo aquel que haya alterado los datos de su DNI.

La organización se guarda el derecho de impedir la inscripción a estos corredores, bien en ediciones posteriores y en otras pruebas organizadas por la entidad, así como en las pruebas organizadas directamente por la FDM en la ciudad de Valencia, en caso de darse reiteradas acciones de mala fe y que atenten contra los principios de la deportividad. Todo corredor que llegue al km 25 después de las 12:45 horas del 20 de noviembre de 2016 deberá abandonar la prueba y/o subir al coche escoba al exceder en más de 15 minutos la proyección del límite fijado por la organización para la finalización de la prueba (6 horas).

Hacemos un llamamiento especial a todos los inscritos para que no cedan su dorsal a terceras personas sin haberlo comunicado a la organización en los plazos previstos en el reglamento, ya que se rompe la cadena de aseguramiento y se dañan las clasificaciones.

For security reasons, people pushing prams or with kids, either in their arms or taken by the hand, are not allowed in the finish area. Likewise, runners will not be allowed to cross the finish line if they do not have their official bib number.

The race judges will disqualify any runner who:• Does not comply with the race official regulations.• Does not run over all of the antenna mats that will be placed along the circuit.• Has manipulated or does not wear their bib number or chip somewhere visible.• Has altered their identification details.

Likewise, the organization reserves the right to prevent these runners from registering for any future events organized by the entity as well as directly organized by the FDM in Valencia in case of repeated bad faith actions which represent a threat to sports principles. Any runner who arrives at kilometre 25 after 12:45 pm on the 20th of November 2016 must leave the race and/or take the support car for exceeding more than 15 minutes the limit set by the organization to complete the race (6 hours).

Please, if you have registered for the race, do not give your bib number to someone else unless you have previously contacted the organization within the time limit established in the regulations, since this poses insurance problems and alters the race results.
