Es una gran bendición que sean parte de Casa Cristiana JWC y su visión. Tanto el

Pastor Henry Patiño, la Pastora Catalina Patiño, los maestros y los asistentes de

maestros nos complace que usted y sus hijos sean parte de este ministerio de niños,

CasaKids. Para nosotros no hay mayor alegría que ver a los niños caminar en la

verdad de Dios. Es nuestro deseo continuar fortaleciendo la fundación cristiana que ya

usted ha establecido y continuar educando al niño en el camino que debe seguir

(Proverbios 22:6). Nuestra oración es que ellos no conozcan el mundo, pero que el

mundo conozca de Jesucristo por medio de ellos. Los Pastores Patiño y todo el

personal de CasaKids estamos comprometidos con Dios en darle a su hijo la mejor

educación, y hacer que esta experiencia educativa sea agradable y beneficiosa para su

vida cristiana.

Visión:

Nuestro anhelo es que los niños aprendan a vivir como verdaderos cristianos en el

temor de Dios, que es el principio de la sabiduría, que desde pequeños anhelen ir a la

Casa de Dios y sepan comportarse en ella y fuera de ella.

Misión:

Establecer en los niños el fundamento de la palabra de Dios a través de un currículo

adecuado para su edad con la ayuda de un equipo de maestros que tienen la pasión

por enseñar y que entienden la responsabilidad de impartirle a cada niño principios de

vida que le servirán para siempre.

Maestros y Asistentes de CasaKids Todos los maestros y asistentes creemos en un solo Dios, en Jesús como nuestro

Señor y Salvador, así como el poder del Espíritu Santo. Todos y cada uno de nuestros

maestros enfatizan en clase la importancia de aprender y estudiar la Biblia, además de

motivar a los niños a buscar una relación cercana e íntima con nuestro Señor. Con esto

se espera que los niños sean testimonio para otros al mostrar un estilo de vida y

comportamiento agradable a Dios. Todo el personal de CasaKids pasa por un

entrenamiento continuo y riguroso donde son evaluados periódicamente. De esta

manera, nos aseguramos no solo de proveer calidad en enseñanza, sino también que

sea de acuerdo a las escrituras.

Política de Admisión

CasaKids es un ministerio para niños de las edades de 0 a 12 años. Donde los niños

aprenden de Dios, Sus principios, Su palabra y promesas; en un ambiente agradable y

cómodo dentro de las posibilidades de las instalaciones existentes. Todos nuestros

procedimientos están guiados a conseguir que los niños puedan ser de testimonio para

otros a través de sus acciones y palabras.

Procedimientos de ingreso

Todos los niños deben ser registrados en la recepción de Casa Cristiana por un adulto.

Los niños deben presentar el folder con la hoja de seguimiento del servicio anterior firmada, la tarea asignada (todas las actividades que fueron entregadas junto con la hoja de seguimiento que no fueron realizadas durante el servicio), la Biblia (preferiblemente The Amplified Bible Versión Clásica) y decir el verso bíblico semanal.

Los pañales y biberones de los infantes deben ser proveídos por los padres. La bolsa de pañales y todos los objetos personales deberán tener el nombre del bebé y el de uno de los padres.

El padre o tutor será notificado cuando el niño necesite un cambio de pañal.

Salidas Una vez finalizado el servicio, los padres o tutores, deben recoger los niños tan pronto como sea posible y permanecer junto a ellos. No se permiten niños sin supervisión.

Materiales

El objetivo principal de CasaKids es la enseñanza y el adiestramiento de los niños, más

que un lugar para pasar el tiempo o un cuido infantil. Por tal motivo, tiene muchas de

las exigencias que tiene una escuela, como el cumplimiento en las tareas, las

actividades de aprendizaje, estándares de comportamiento y disciplina, asistencia,

compromiso en el seguimiento por parte de los padres, entre otros.

Idioma

El ministerio de niños CasaKids es un ministerio que trabaja arduamente para crear un ambiente cómodo y acogedor para su hijo. Para ello, en lo posible, tratamos de brindar un entorno bilingüe en el que tanto el idioma inglés como el español pueden ser utilizados en las aulas. Si un estudiante prefiere un idioma sobre otro, la maestra hará las modificaciones correspondientes en la enseñanza. Sin embargo, creemos que enseñar la importancia de hablar los dos idiomas es indispensable como un valor agregado a la vida de cada niño.

Código de Vestimenta Vestir apropiadamente es un aspecto importante en el testimonio como cristiano, por lo

tanto, animamos y esperamos que los miembros de Casa Cristiana y sus niños vistan

de manera decorosa. Pedimos que el niño vista con ropa cómoda y que los vestidos de

las niñas lleguen a no menos de la punta de los dedos de sus manos. Preferiblemente,

con pantalones cortos por debajo.

Merienda Casa Cristiana JWC le provee a los niños de CasaKids una merienda en un receso de

10 minutos durante la clase del domingo, por este motivo, si su niño es alérgico a algo

en específico, por favor, notifíquelo siempre a la administración. Aquellos padres que

deseen proveerle a su niño una merienda diferente, pueden entregársela a la maestra o

al personal en el mostrador de registración de CasaKids; de esta manera, protegemos

la salud y bienestar de todos los niños.

Actividades Especiales Una vez el padre o encargado haya comprometido al niño para la actividad, la

asistencia a todas las prácticas y la puntualidad es mandatoria. Si el niño tiene una

excusa razonable para no asistir, deberá notificarlo lo más pronto posible a los

organizadores de la actividad. El padre o encargado será responsable de que el niño

tenga la vestimenta requerida para la ocasión. Todos los niños son especiales y su

participación en la actividad es especial e importante.

Objetos Perdidos Todos los objetos encontrados se llevaran al sitio asignado donde podrán ser reclamados al personal pertinente. Los objetos no reclamados se guardarán por un término prudente después del cual si no hay reclamación alguna, serán donados. Casa Cristiana no se hace responsable de ningún objeto o artículo electrónico que el niño tenga en la iglesia y sus facilidades.

Política en Caso de Enfermedad Nuestro compromiso es que todos, en CasaKids, puedan disfrutar de un entorno seguro y de bienestar. Si los niños muestran algunos de los siguientes síntomas, le pedimos, como padres, su ayuda al mantener a los niños enfermos en los hogares.

Fiebre

Diarreas y/o vómitos

Ojo rosado (conjuntivitis)

Erupciones (“rashes”), por favor consultar a un médico para determinar si es

contagioso. De ser contagioso, por favor, mantenga a su niño en la casa.

Piojos, por favor use un champú especial como tratamiento, disponible en todas las

farmacias. Su hijo puede regresar una vez que sea tratado.

Gracias por entender y ayudarnos con la seguridad de todos.

Suministro de Medicamentos

Ninguna maestra o personal de la iglesia está autorizado a suministrar medicamentos a nadie, por tanto, el padre o tutor deberá hacerlo directamente.

Normas de Conducta y Comportamiento

Como ministerio que se centra en enseñar a los niños en cómo comportarse de forma semejante a Cristo, tenemos un conjunto de reglas que se aplican, para mantener un ambiente de respeto y responsabilidad. Estas normas de conducta ayudarán a que los niños aprendan a reconocer y respetar los principios de autoridad. Las reglas son las siguientes: 1. Respetarse los unos a los otros con sus palabras y acciones. 2. No gritar 3. No mascar chicle 4. No correr dentro de la iglesia 5. No usar electrónicos durante la clase 6. Comer sólo en la zona permitida: “Mana Bakery” 7. Los niños pueden utilizar cuidadosamente los objetos de Casa Kids que sean

apropiados para su edad y destrezas, luego deberán colocarlos nuevamente en su lugar. Los instrumentos musicales y otros implementos de la iglesia no forman parte de estos.

8. Cuidado con las manos: no golpear, tocar o jugar con sus compañeros de una manera incorrecta. Las peleas y juegos bruscos están terminantemente prohibidos.

Se consideran como faltas de respeto:

Disciplina

El propósito de nuestros procedimientos de disciplina es corregir a los niños de sus

errores y guiarlos por el camino recto señalado por Dios, deshacer sentimientos de

injusticia y mostrar la naturaleza repulsiva del pecado; por lo tanto, los procedimientos

están diseñados para edificar amablemente al niño. Hebreo 12:5 nos dice, “y habéis ya

olvidado la exhortación que como a hijos se os dirige, diciendo: Hijo mío, no

menosprecies la disciplina del Señor, ni desmayes cuando eres reprendido por él”.

Para su información, el proceso de disciplina establecido es el siguiente:

1. Primera ofensa: el maestro le recordará al niño la regla que se ha desobedecido.

2. Segunda ofensa: el maestro tendrá una breve y privada conversación con el niño;

se le dará una breve advertencia de las consecuencias que conlleva si su

comportamiento no mejora.

3. Tercera ofensa: el niño tomará un breve descanso fuera del aula bajo la

supervisión de un asistente de CasaKids. Cuando él o ella esté listo para regresar y

hacer las actividades en obediencia, el niño será bienvenido nuevamente al salón

de clases. Sin embargo, se le notificará al padre o tutor mediante un reporte de

incidente, el cual debe firmar (esté atento a la hoja de seguimiento, para saber de la

existencia de uno de ellos). De ser necesario, habrá una conferencia privada con los

pastores, el maestro, los padres y el niño, según el caso. Así juntos podremos

asistir al niño.

Hoja de Seguimiento La hoja de seguimiento está diseñada para que los padres puedan apoyar y participar de la educación espiritual de los niños. Es el medio de comunicación entre padres y maestros. La hoja de seguimiento consta de cuatro partes: 1. Título del tema anterior con el verso bíblico para que

el niño pueda repasarlo 2. Título del tema de la clase con verso bíblico que se

debe aprender para la próxima clase. (Si el niño se ausenta, podrá encontrar el verso bíblico en la página web, en el área de CasKids)

3. Conducta, la cual está simbolizada con los colores del semáforo, donde se especifica el comportamiento del niño.

4. Seguimiento de las responsabilidades del niño: traer la Biblia, folder, aprenderse el verso bíblico de la semana, e informar si hubo un reporte de incidente.

Escala de Calificación Se utiliza un sistema de puntos para estimular y premiar a los niños por su esfuerzo.

Así como también para enseñarles las consecuencias de su desobediencia, en tal

caso, en vez de ganar, los pierden.

Ganan puntos por:

Llevar su Biblia = 1

Traer su carpeta/folder =1

Tener su tarea firmada por un padre/tutor =1

Memorizar el versículo de la Biblia = 1

Participar activamente en clase =1

Comportarse correctamente =1

Para el caso de los niños de la categoría de 3-4 años, tienen otra puntuación diferente

y no recibirán los puntos físicamente, sino que el conteo estarás en la hoja de

seguimiento.

Ganan puntos por:

Memorizar el versículo de la Biblia = 5

Traer su carpeta/folder =2

Tener su tarea firmada por un padre/tutor =2

Cara Feliz =2

Cara Triste = -2 o invalida una Cara Feliz

Los niños tendrán la oportunidad de utilizar o ahorrar los puntos acumulados en la caja

del tesoro “treasure box”, al finalizar cada servicio, el cual contiene un surtido de

artículos adecuados para su edad.

Nota: cada niño es responsable por sus puntos. Como parte de la formación de su

carácter, ellos deben encargarse de guardarlos y no perderlos. En caso de pérdida, no

serán sustituidos por otros

Cómo Puede Usted Colaborar

Para que CasaKids sea un ministerio exitoso y podamos llevar a cabo el propósito que

Dios ha puesto en nosotros y en sus hijos, usted puede contribuir de la siguiente

manera:

1. Anime al niño a hacer la lectura diaria de la Biblia y a contestar la respuesta del día.

2. Ayude al niño a aprenderse el verso bíblico semanal. 3. Déjele saber a la maestra cualquier información que considere necesaria para el

cuidado de su hijo. 4. Siga los procedimientos de ingreso y salida.

5. Asegúrese de que el niño vaya al baño antes de que comience el servicio.

6. No deje a su hijo sin supervisión en ningún momento. Al final de cada servicio,

todos los niños deben estar acompañados de sus padres o tutores. Una vez los

recoge, no se permiten niños corriendo en la iglesia, desatendidos o que salgan

fuera de nuestras instalaciones sin la compañía de sus padres.

7. Si por alguna razón usted desea que su hijo asista al servicio de los adultos con

usted, le pedimos que tome control de su niño y evite que haga ruido durante el

servicio. En ese caso, el ujier le dejará saber con una nota que pude ver el servicio

desde el lobby.

8. Pregúntele a su hijo acerca de su día en CasaKids y esté atento a la hoja de

seguimiento.

9. Por razones de seguridad y para evitar la distracción en el fluir armonioso de la

clase, le pedimos a los padres que no entren a los salones de clase. Sin embargo,

para su tranquilad, puede pedirle a uno de los ujieres que lo guíe al área donde se

encuentran las cámaras de seguridad y podrá ver a su hijo por el monitor.

10. Si está en su corazón hacer de Casa Cristiana su casa, le pedimos que después de

su tercera visita llene una registración oficial para contar con información más

detallada del niño y su familia. Puede preguntar por la registración oficial en la

administración.

Gracias por su apoyo y su disposición. Es nuestra esperanza que la semilla que está

siendo plantada en la vida de cada uno de los niños dé muchos frutos.

Esperamos de los Padres y Tutores que: 1. Compartan y apoyen la visión, misión, valores y objetivos de CasaKids,

reconociendo que la iglesia de niños es su colaboradora en la educación cristiana de sus hijos, pero finalmente la responsabilidad es suya.

2. Muestren compromiso con la educación de sus hijos, participando e involucrándose activamente en las actividades de CasaKids.

3. Sean constantes en establecer límites y ejercer disciplina con sus hijos, porque entienden que es un mandato de Dios y una manifestación de amor.

4. Sean un ejemplo para sus hijos siendo coherentes entre sus palabras y sus acciones.

5. Provean un entorno saludable para sus hijos, tanto en lo físico, como en lo espiritual y emocional.

Dear CasaKids’ Families,

It is a grand blessing to have you and your family be a part of Casa Cristiana JWC and

its vision. Pastor Henry Patiño, Pastora Catalina Patiño, the teachers, and teacher

assistants are pleased that you and your children are a part of the children ministry,

CasaKids. It brings us no greater joy than to see God’s children to be walking in the

truth. The Pastors and CasaKids staff are all committed in giving your child the best

education and to make her/his’ learning experience enjoyable and beneficial to their

Christian life. Our desire is to continue to strengthen the Godly foundation you have

already established and to train up your child in the way he/she should go (Proverbs

22:6). It is our prayers that they do not know of the world, but that the world knows of

Jesus Christ through them.

Vision Statement:

Our desire is that the children learn to live as true Christians who fear God, which is the

beginning of wisdom, and that from a young age they yearn to go to the House of God

and know how to properly behave in it and out of it.

Mission Statement:

Establish the foundation of the Word of God through a curriculum suitable for children of

various ages as well as provide a team of teachers who have a passion to teach and

who understand the responsibility to impart to every child the principles of life that will

serve them forever.

CasaKids Teachers and Teacher Assistants All teachers and assistants are born again believers who believe in God, Jesus as their Lord and Savior, as well as the power of the Holy Spirit. Each are expected to always emphasize the importance of studying the Bible, maintaining a close and intimate relationship with God, being an example to others by showing Godly characteristics and living a lifestyle pleasing to God. All of CasaKids staff is screened and go through continuous rigorous studying and testing to ensure quality teaching for your child.

Admission Policies CasaKids is a ministry for children of ages 0 to 12. It is where your child can comfortably and enjoyably learn about God and His promises, the Scripture and its principles as well as how to be a living testimony to others through their words and actions.

Procedures Children must be signed in by an adult at Casa Cristiana’s reception area before

classes begin. Children must bring their folder/binder with the prior week’s “hoja de seguimineto,”

their homework signed (all activities that were turned in with the “hoja de seguimineto” that were nor completed during the allotted class time) their Bibles (preferably the Amplified Classic version), and to be able to recite the weekly verse.

The parents must supply infant’s diapers and feeding bottles. Diapers, bottles, and other personal items bag must have the baby’s name and the

parent’s names. The parent or guardian will be notified when the child need a change of diaper.

Arrival Services

Dismissal Upon completion of the service, parents/guardians must pick up their child as soon as possible and stay with them. Children must be supervised at all times.

Materials CasaKids is more than a place to pass the time nor is it childcare center; CasaKids’ main objective is to teach and train children. Therefore, there are many demands that are similar to ones that are found in schools, such as compliance with homework, learning activities, standards of behavior and discipline, attendance, a parent’s compromise to be involved with the child and her/his work, etc.

Language Casa Cristiana’s CasaKids is a ministry that wants and guarantees a comfortable and welcoming environment for your child. If possible, we try to provide a bilingual environment in which both English and Spanish is used in the classrooms since we value the importance of both languages and believe that it is indispensable to the life of every child.

Dress Code Dressing appropriately is an important aspect in one’s testimony as a Christian; thus, we encourage and expect appropriate clothing from Casa Cristiana’s members and children. CasaKids children are held to standards that encourage responsible behavior, this being one of them. We ask that your child be dressed in loose-fitting clothing. All dresses must be at least fingertip length with short pants underneath.

Snack Casa Cristiana JWC provides all CasaKids’ children a 10-minute snack break during Sunday class. We ask that if your child has specific allergies, that you notify CasaKids’ administration at the front desk. Additionally, if parents want to provide their child a different snack, the snack must be given to the child’s teacher or the administration; by doing so, we may be able to protect the children’s well-being and health.

Special Activities All children are special and their participation is important to us; hence, once the parent/guardian has committed that their child will perform in an event, participation and punctuality is mandatory. If the child has a reasonable excuse to miss a practice, the

leader of the group must be notified as soon as possible. The parent is responsible to dress their child in the essential clothing.

Lost and Found All objects that are found are taken to a designated area where you may claim your personal items at the administration center. Objects that are not claimed are safely kept for a specific amount of time after it has been found. If a claim has not been done, items will be donated. Casa Cristiana is not in any way responsible for any objects and electronics that are brought to the church and its facilities.

Sickness/Illness Policy To ensure that CasaKids is a safe environment for your child at church, a set of guidelines have been established. We ask that parents/guardians will help CasaKids by keeping sick children at homes if they have any of the following: Fever Diarrheas and vomiting Pink Eye (Conjunctivitis) Rashes please consult a doctor to determine if contagious. If it is please, keep your

child at home. Lice. Use special Shampoo like a treatment. Available in pharmacies. Your kid can

return once it has been treated.

Thank you for understanding and helping CasaKids.

Medication No teacher or church personnel is authorized to supply medication to anyone; therefore, the parent or guardian must directly do so themselves.

Children’s Responsibilities 1. Participate in class 2. Learn the weekly Bible verse 3. Bring their folder/binder, Bible, and materials 4. Compliance with the standards of conduct and behavior.

Standards of Conduct

As a ministry that focuses on teaching children how to behave in a Christ-like manner, there is a set of rules that are enforced. Having the rules instill values, such as respect and responsibility, that allows them to recognize the principles of authority and creates a calm and positive classroom atmosphere for the children. The rules are as followed:

1. Respect one another with their words and actions 2. No screaming 3. Gum is not permitted 4. No running inside the church

5. Not use electronics during class 6. Eating is only allowed in the eating area 7. CasaKid’s toys that are appropriate for the child’s age may be used as long as they

are put back in their proper place. Musical instrument toys are not acceptable. 8. Children must be careful with their hands: no hitting, touching, or playing with their

peers in an incorrect manner. Fights and tough play are forbidden.

Discipline The aim of CasaKids discipline is to demonstrate and assist children in learning the importance of rules and to develop a lifestyle that is pleasing to God. The purpose of our discipline procedures is to correct children from their errors and straighten their paths, to suppress feelings of injustice, and to show the repulsive nature of sin; therefore, the procedures are designed to kindly build up and train your child. The Bible, in Hebrew 12:5, states, “And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says, ‘My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you.’” Therefore, a set of discipline procedures has been established.

1. First offense- the teacher will remind the child of the rule he/she has broken. 2. Second offense- the teacher will pull the child aside and privately give a brief

warning and clearly explain the problem and behavior modification that needs to take place.

3. Third offense- the child will take a short break outside of the classroom under the supervision of a CasaKids teacher assistant. When he/she is ready to return and to obediently participate, the child will be welcomed to the classroom. However, the parent/guardian will be notified through the means of an incident report, which will have to be signed. If necessary, a private meeting will be held with the pastors, the teacher, the parents, and the child so that together we can assist him/her.

Hoja de Seguimiento The “hoja de seguimiento” is designed so that the parents may be able to support and participate in their child’s spirtual education. It is also used as a communication tool betweeen the parents and the teacher. The sheet consists of four parts: 1. Title of the previous Bible verse and topic which

allows the child to do a bried recap 2. Title of the class topic and the new Bible verse that

will be learned for the upcoming class. (If the child is absent, the Bible verse can be found on the CasaKids website)

3. The child’s conduct will be demonstarted through the usage of the symbolism of a traffic light’s colors.

4. Children’s responsibilities will be monitored. The parent/guardian will be notified if a situation occurs with the means of an incedent report.

Grading Scale A point system is utilized to encourage and reward the children for their obedience, responsible behavior, and efforts.

Points are earned:

For bringing their Amplified Classic Bible= 1 point For bringing their folder/binder= 1 point Having their homework signed by a parent/guardian= 1 point For memorizing the Bible verse= 1 point For actively participating in class= 1 point For behaving properly= 1 point

For children ages 3 to 4, a different score system will be used. The child will not receive

points physically, but instead their points will be listed in the “hoja de seguimiento.”

Points are earned:

For memorizing the Bible verse= 5 points For bringing their folder/binder= 2 points Having their homework signed by a parent/guardian= 2 points Having a happy face= 2 points

*However 2 points will be taken away for each sad face.

At the end of each service, the children will be provided the opportunity to use their

accumulated points for the treasure box. The treasure box contains an assortment of

various items that are suitable for their ages.

Note: As part of forming the child’s character, he/she will be pacticing responsibilty by

keeping track of the points that have been lost as well as earned.

How You Can Collaborate

To make CasaKids a successful ministry and to achieve the purpose that God has for our lives as well as your child’s lives, you may contribute in the following ways: 1. Encourage your child to complete the daily Bible verse question/reading 2. Help your child to learn the weekly Bible verse. 3. Inform the teacher of any information that is necessary for the care of your child. 4. Follow the arrival and dismissal procedures. 5. Please make sure your child goes to the restroom before the service begins. 6. Do not leave your child unattended at any time. At the end of each service, all

children should be accompanied by their parents/guardian. Once the child has been picked up from the class, he/she is not able to run around in the church.

7. Ask your child about his/her day in CasaKids. 8. If for any reason you decide you want your child to attend service with you, we ask

that you supervise your child at all times. 9. For safety reasons and to avoid distractions, we ask that parents do not enter the

classrooms. If you have any questions about your child at CasaKids during service, you may ask an usher to show you your child’s well-being through the church’s monitors.

10. If it is in your heart to make Casa Cristiana your home, we ask that after your third visit you register as a member in order to have a more detailed form about you and your child. You may ask about the registration process in the administration center.

We Expect Parents and Guardians: 1. To support and be a part of CasaKids’ vision, mission, values, and goals as well as

recognize that the children’s church plays a role in your child’s Christian education.

2. To show engagement in your child’s education by participating and being actively involved in the activities of CasaKids.

3. To be consistent in setting limits and to exercise discipline with your child since it must be understood that is it a command from God and a manifestation of love.

4. To be an example to your child by being consistent with your words and actions. 5. To provide a healthy physical, emotional, and spiritual environment for your child
