Approved Lubricants

The following is a list of lubricants approved by Eaton andDana for use with the Roadranger Extended Warranties.These lubricants have passed the appropriate PerformanceSpecification for the type of service and lubricant drain inter-val.

Roadranger has developed the icons shown here as a way forthe lubricant customer to quickly see that 1) the lubricant is

Roadranger approved, 2) which component or componentsthe lube may be used in, and 3) how long the lube may be leftin the transmission or drive axle.

The icons may be found on containers and drums for servicefill.

If the transmission and drive axles are factory filled withE500 approved lubricants, any top off lubricant must alsobe E500 in order to keep the extended warranty and500,000 mile drain interval intact.
