GARMENT STICHING PROCESS• Patternmaking on paper and then tracing it on the cloth. These patterns are traced on a single fabric

These patterns are traced on a single fabric but when they are cut many fabrics are piled up under the marked fabric so that it becomes easy.

• The fabrics are not cut by a simple scissor but a hand knife mashine A hand knife machine is the one in which the machine can be moved according to the curves like a paint brush. The cutting process is shown below:-

• After the cutting process is done it is been handed over to the tailors to stitch them according to the patterns.

• There was a fusing machine present in the factory. Instead of using an iron we use the fusing machine so that the temperature, pressure and time is uniform.

• After the stitching is done the garment is always ironed with an ironing machine. In order to help a crisp iron ironing is done on a vacuum table.

A vacuum table settles the fabric on the table making the surface og the garment flat.

• A good rapport with the colleagues is very important to undertake the entire production process.

• And lastly, dedication towards the work is very important as it increases work efficiency.

Learned a lot
