Endorsements“The most progressive innovation model seen in NZ”

Adrian Gregory GM Innovation & Workforce, Grow Wellington / MBIE Advisor

Sir Ray Avery GNZM, Medicine Mondiale

Irina Blomqvist. Director, Global Innovation Ecosystem, EBA, EMEA, Cognizant. Finland

Tracey Schiebli. General Manager, Service and Business Planning. Whanganui District Health Board

“I can confirm that I and Medicine Mondiale are very supportive of the concept for the Whanganui Aged Care Research (within Innovation Quarter).

As discussed I think it is important that the proposed research facility has, day one, a relevant project which may kick start the Research Facility activities – portfolio. We would be very interested to see if we could collaborate with the Research Facility to undertake a clinical trial to determine the Clinical effectiveness of our Patentable Chicken Hydrolysate specifically designed to prevent and treat clinical malnutrition, specifically Sarcopenia. One overview of the Clinical trial is attached (some financials have been omitted).

We would like to get the trial underway in the next four to six months. I’m not sure whether this is possible with respect to the timing for the incorporation of the Aged Care Research Facility? Irrespective of the clinical trial I am happy to help where I can to get the Aged Care Facility established and self-sustainable.

My very best personal regards”

“I went through the initiative and it looks good! I could immediately say that we would be interested in The Incubator and Health Innovation, saying that I also know we have some people who are keen to connect to Smart City initiatives and know more about the IoT activities planned. I personally connect with incubators, VC’s, accelerators to see, if there are interesting technology startups from our point of view.”

“I can see the potential for significant benefits for our region on a number of fronts. The DHB is an obvious partner in this given our already established relationships with our Councils and Iwi. We share the common goal of improving the wellbeing of our community which is influenced by the social, economic and cultural dimensions.”
