    Web Page

Each day when browsing the Internet, we visit a lot of websites, some more complex, others - just simple personal pages. The term "website" represents a summary of allthe content you have put online - each file takes part in what the website represents. And the driving power behind the website, the pillars that hold it together, are the webpages.

The Web PageEach web page (also known as webpage) represents various types of informationpresented to the visitor in an aesthetic and readable manner. Most of the web pagesare available on the World Wide Web, which makes them widely accessible to theInternet public. Others may be also available online but only restricted to a certain

private network, such as a corporate intranet. The information in all those web pages islocated on remote web servers in the form of text, image, or script files. A smalleramount of web pages are intended for home or test use and are located on localcomputers, which do not need Internet connection to display them.

How do web pages work? The information on a web page is displayed online with the help of a web browser, which connects with the server where the website's contents are hosted through theHypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP). For instance, if you look at the URL of the webpage you are on at the moment, you could notice the prefix 'http://', which tells thebrowser what protocol to use to execute the particular URL request.

Each web page's contents are usually presented in HTML or XHTML format, whichallows for the information to be easily structured and then quickly read by the client'web browser . With the help of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), designers canprecisely control the web page's look and feel, as far as layout, typographic elements, color scheme and navigation are concerned. CSS instructions can be either embeddedwithin the HTML web page (valid for that particular page) or can be included in aseparate external file (valid for the whole site).

    1. What is a web site?A web site is a summary of all the content you have put online.

    2. Where is Web site information placed?

A Web Site is located on remote web servers in the form of text, image, orscript files...

    3. Are all the web pages available on the World Wide Web?Yes, they are widely accessible to the Internet public.

    4. How is the page contents presented? They are usually presented in HTML or XHTML format.

    5. What does HTML stand for?Its a format which read by the client' web browser with the help of CSS.

Last week I went to see a match soccer with family in that place we wentto see a Linda from the Red Group, They are Christian singers, we weresinging her songs like Desde el amanecer Revolucion Quiero mas. When I sang the second song my mother Liria was buying some candiesto share with us and my sister Samantha was playing: play station 2entertainment the teenagers were very happy to be there, Linda is a multi-talented singer and so funny too, she has got a great voice, the concert

started at 6:00 pm We didnt get late we enjoyed so much singing, jumping and shouting all time, the public I think had a good participationin the development of the concert. After that I was talking to my momwhen we could go to other concert, concerts are special for me, I wantedto relax for instance and have fun with my family and my friends.
