Más tarde, el chico fue a la ventana de la chica y le cantó una canción romántica que él escribió. Pero el chico sí era tonto, porque él se olvidó que era muy tarde. De repente, el papá se despertó y vio al chico en la ventana. El papá gritó y le tiró cosas de la casa. El chico se fue y la chica lloró por el chico tonto.

Grammar Points: - Use SER with characteristics and time. (Tends to be in IMP because they are background details.) - De repente (suddenly) usually occurs with the preterite, because it indicates a specific event.
