\|Originally entitled Azure Dreams DS, Tao's Adventures relates the

|/journey of a young magic user in search of a monster egg that will helphim save his village. His quest leads him to Mondomio, where the MonsterTower lies. Although not a direct sequel to Azure Dreams, you'll withoutany doubts recognize some familiar concepts and elements. And if you'venever played the latter, do not fret as Tao's Adventure is a completelynew entry to the series. I'm hoping you'll find the FAQ useful, as I

ended up including a lot less that I originally intended to, being sobeat after finishing with the maps that drained all my energy off. Feelfree to e-mail me, my contact info is at the bottom of the FAQ.

The Demon Tower lies in the center of Mondominio, a city wheremonsterhunters live off the trade of monster eggs, which rest in the Tower.Thanksto these eggs, the city has only known prosperity so far.

However, peace came to an end when the Tower got struck by a giganticlightning bolt, which broke the seal retaining the monsters. The city andits surroundings sustained the attack of the monsters.

Meanwhile, on the peaceful island of Bente, where reclued magic userslive,Tao lived happily with his family when monsters attacked the village andturned all of its inhabitants into stone.

All, except Tao. Thus he sets sail for Mondominion, in hope of finding

therare monster egg that will save his island...

~~TaoComes from Bente Island and is the descendant of a legendary family ofAir Spellers. He is the son of Amon, the great wizard. Tao has left forthe city of monsters, Mondominio, in search of the egg that will save hisvillage.

~~PetchoA rare monster that speaks the language of humans. Petcho has becomeTao'spartner after being saved by him in the Tower.

~~GorshOnce a well-known monster hunter, Gorsh is now the head of the AncientMagic Lab and also an old friend of Amon, Tao's father.

~~AmonTao's father is a powerful Air Speller and also the magical teacher inBente Island. He is turned to stone while trying to defend the village.

Q: How do I save the game?

A: Simply, head over to your room in the inn and take a nap to replenishyour HP. A screen selection will appear on the touchscreen. Just choose"Save game - OK" and there you go.

Q: How do I hatch an egg?

A: After appraising an egg (either in the Monster Shop or using an itemthatdoes so), you can hatch your eggs in the Tower, or in your inn room.

Q: How do I access the Tool Shop? The library?

A: The Tool Shop is only accessible starting from Floor 10 and thelibraryfrom Floor 13. If you have items to sell until then, you can sell them atthe Accessory Shop instead.

Q: What's the max level?

A: The max level any of your characters can reach is LV50 and their statsare maxed out at 99. Your equipment can go up to LV20.

Q: How do I get new spells?

A: Apart from the spells you gain by leveling-up, you can get more spellsby talking to Gorsh in the Ancient Magic Lab once in a while. You'll getthe first one after Floor 10.

Q: Is there a way to make Straitser Jr. evolve?

A: Apparently not.

Q: What is this "Baroy" the Secret Notebook tells about?

A: Nobody knows for sure. Seems like a tease from the developpers morethan anything else.

Q: How do I cross water?

A: You can cross water using a Tunam Fruit to turn into a frog. To get

TunamFruits, either buy them at the Tool Shop starting from Floor 15 or usethegraveyard trick to get some for free.

Tao wakes up on a peaceful day. After breakfast, you get to explorearound the island a bit.

Walk south to the shore and talk to the villager on the left to learnthat Lot has already headed back home. So you'll be off to the gym forthe training.

Your father will entrust you the Spell Rod and Spell Book.

The training is fairly simple, draw the symbols for each spell yourfather will teach you.

As your training ends, the village unexpectedly gets attacked bymonsters from the Tower. Although your father doesn't want you to goout, the spell gets broken, so head outside only to find out everyonein the village has been turned into stone.

The only survivors are you and the elders. Since they're obviouslytoo old to do the job themselves, they'll request you to go retrievethe Straitser's Egg in the Tower in Mondominio to save the village.

You'll receive the Wind Rod and Bente Charm.

On your way to town, you'll come across a boy being attacked by amonster. You'll get invited to the inn for saving him.

When you wake up in the room, you'll notice a bed and a chest. Thechest is an item box where you can store your items. As for the bed,jump in to recover your HP when you need to, and also save your gameusing the touchscreen.

Head downstairs and you'll get to freely explore the town.

You're looking for Gorsh, so head for the Ancient Magic Lab in theeast side of town. Gorsh, an old friend of your father, will tell you

a bit about the Tower.

He'll give you the Monster Collar and Sealing Notebook.

Those are used to collect monsters.

Now all you need before entering the Tower is a pass. Head over to

the Mayor's house at the left of the inn to get a Pass from him.

You're now ready to head inside the Tower. Show the guard your passand he'll let you in.

There is quite a bunch of things to explore around town, but I'll addmoreto this section later on.

_______________________________/ 3. B1 Shops \\ ----------------------------- /

-Tool Shop-----------At the right of the entrance to the Tower. Here you can buy supplies youwillneed inside the Tower. The stock often changes, so look often for newitems.The Tool Shop will be open starting from Floor 10.

-Weapon Shop------------At the right of the Tool Shop. Here you can buy various rods, staffs,

swordsand shields. The shopkeeper will change its stock near the end of thegamewith more powerful weapons, so make sure to give his inventory a lookwhenyou get there.

-Accessory Shop---------------

Across the river in the southern part of the town. Here you can buy itemswhich you can offer to townspeople. Pretty useless, but you can sell yourstuff here when you first start the game.

-Café-----

Behind the Weapon Shop. Here you can buy drinks that will temporarilyincrease your stats or powers. Can be usuful for boss battles.

-Hall of Dark Arts------------------Behind Johnny's. Here you can upgrade your weapons to increase theirlevel. It can be quite expensive, so you better use Red/Blue Magic Sandfrom the graveyard instead.

-Ancient Magic Lab------------------

This is where Gorsh lives. Talk to him once in a while to receive newspells.

-Fortune Teller---------------Southwest corner of town, across the river. Here you can get someillusiveclues about what to do next if you are stuck. It's pretty vague though,so might as well use the walkthrough.

Around town, you'll find some items hidden in the villargers's houses andinsome shops. To pick up these items, use the 'Search' function on thetouch-screen while facing the furniture piece or whatsoever.

I've put that one in a separate section, being one of the only'sidequests' ofthe game. In the northwest corner of the town, there lies a graveyardthathides many secrets. The graveyard consists of 24 graves, plus one largergraveat the back. You can get some random items from here, plus 6 specialitems. Tomake the trick work and obtain these secret items, you will first need tobein possession of 25 Monster Meats.

Monster Meats can be found on the 5th Floor of the Tower, at the left oftheexit leading to Floor 6. They will always reappear everytime you leavethefloor, so you can collect them over and over until you get 25 of them.Onceyou have them all, you will need to place them on the graves in thegraveyard.

To do so, use the "Search" function in front of a grave and select theMonsterMeat from your inventory.

Place all Monster Meats on the 24 small graves first, then place one onthelarger grave last. You will hear a small music if done correctly, and ablueghost will appear somewhere in the graveyard. Just looking around untilyou

find it and talk to it using the Search function. He will give you one ofthesecret items. You can repeat this process up to six times to get all theitems. You will also notice that sometimes random items will appear onthegraves, which is a good way to get some Magic Sand.

That's where the whole game takes place, mainly. You'll have to climb uptothe top, floor by floor. Before heading inside, make sure you are

preparedand read the pointers below if you just started playing.

Pointers:

-Go in the inventory and equip a rod/sword before entering the Tower

-Everytime you reach a new floor, cast Bound and choose "Input"so you can quickly come back to that floor next time you enter the Tower

-To leave the Tower, cast Bound and choose "Leave"

-Leave and reenter the Tower often so you can recover your HP at the innand save your game

-Sell the Nuggets you find in the Tower to get money (sell them at the

Accessory Shop)

-Buy yourself a shield before anything else

-When you find a Monster Egg, go to the Monster Shop and appraise theegg. Once the egg is identified, hatch it in the inn room or in theTower

-Summon your new monsters from the Sealing Book to have them help you

Guide: This floor is fairly simple, just get the chests and head for the

exit, where you'll encounter a rare monster, Petcho. Choose tosave him and allow him to accompany you. To get items #9, 10 and

11,you'll need to use a Tunam Fruit to cross the water leading to

them.

You'll get the opportunity to collect those items later in thegame,

once your reach Floor 15, so leave that for now. The block issimply

used to leave that area if you don't climb back up the vine.

When you reach Floor 2, input the Bound spell so you can come back laterand leave the Tower. As you exit the Tower, you'll see a kid running awayfrom you. Petcho will explain you that the people of Mondominio don'tlikethe Bente people, because of a war that took place long ago where theBente

used human lives with their magic.

Rest at the inn, save your game, sell your Nuggets at the AccessoriesShopto buy more stuff at the Weapons Shop (possibly a shield and a sword) andhead back inside the Tower when you're ready. Cast Bound and teleport toFloor 2.

Guide: Another simple floor. There's a monster egg in a small room on theright side and another one in the small room on the left side.

Theydon't always appear, so you may need to exit and return to get

themboth. Also, you'll notice an unreachable area at the right of a

block.You'll need to return here later in the game when you have a TunamFruit. From the room with the water (6), use the Tunam Fruit to

swimto that secret area with a few gold nuggets and a Powa Seed. Then

pushthe block to exit.

After reaching Floor 3, teleport back outside the tower and head over totheinn to rest. When you leave your room, you'll meet Min-Min. Althoughshe'sthe one who talked to you first, her father will get mad at you for

talkingto her.

Now try to go to the tower and Petcho will stop you, saying he's hungry.Headto the Café in the east side of town. As you enter, an old woman will getriled up from your presence and leave. Order something to eat if youwant,then head back to the Tower.

Guide: On this floor you'll encounter your first switch (that bluesphere).

To activate a switch, tap "Search" on the touchscreen whilestanding

next to it. It will open the door to the room containing aLightning

Orb. Don't forget the monster egg in a small room at the right of

theentrance. To get the Large Gold Nugget in the bottom-right corner,use a Tunam Fruit to swim from the far-right room to the one

behindthe block.

When you reach Floor 4, Petcho will tell you you should go back to theinn,so teleport back outside and head over to your room. The innkeeper willtellyou that Hunters that just got into town want to talk with you. They're

inthe room just next to yours, so head in to have a chat with them. You'lllearn they are from Muchoy, who happen to like the Bente since they savedtheir village long ago. You'll also learn they're looking for Goldra.

Guide: This floor is a tad more complicated than the previous ones.You'll

get to a part with a switch that moves a section of the path. Moveit (tap "Search" to activate it) once to cross over to the room onthe left, then you'll find another switch in that room. Move the

path3 times to set it back to its original location and cross over tothat other room. You'll get to another switch further on, activate

itto set the path leading to the next room.

Now leave the Tower, rest at the inn, save, sell your nuggets and headbackinside.

Guide: When you get to the first switch ahead (W), don't continue anyfurther or you'll step on craked tiles and fall back down to Floor

5. Instead, press the switch to move the path to the left and accessthe

room there. Or press it twice to move it to the right to reachanother

area. If you keep going on south from the left path, you'll get toother switch (Z). Press it to move the path so you can cross over

tothe other side. Then, press it again while standing on the movablepath to move back to the left and reach another room.

(Secret Areas):At the right of the entrance, use a Tunam Fruit in the second room andcrossthe water to reach a small room with a Defi Seed and a monster egg. Also,inthe bottom-left room with the two monster eggs, you can get to the chestcontaining a Jewel using a Tunam Fruit to swim over to it. There's also aroom with four Red Magic Sand bags that requires a Tunam Fruit to reach.Look up the map.

Guide: This floor is quite complex. When you get to the switch (W), pressit

twice to move the pillars around. Then get on the round platformin

the center and grab the Gecola Egg (G). You'll need to take itback to

the hospital to save the Muchoy brothers. From the platform withthe

nest, you'll reach a room with another switch (Z) if you head

northeast. Press it to open the door to the room with the thirdswitchin (O). Press that one too to lower a platform near the first

sitch(W). Use that path to reach the exit in the southeast corner.

Guide: This floor is pretty easy to figure out, the only thing you may bepuzzled about is how to get to the unreachable location (18) on

themap. You'll first need to get to the exit where you'll find a

movableblock. Push that block down the hallway, then down the stairs(make

sure you push it exactly how you'd climb down or it'll staystuck),

then across the path leading right and when you get to the room(18),

push the block in the pit and push it left. You can now cross fromthe

upper ledge using the block.

After returning from the tower, head over to the inn to rest. As youleavethe room, Min-Min will come and tell you she's impressed you saved thethreeMuchoy brothers. Can't judge a book from its cover.

You'll need to fight a boss at the end of the floor.

Boss: Winka

~~~~~~~~~~~You should be around LV15 at this point. This boss is still pretty tough,as he has a spell that confuses you, resulting in your character notanswering anymore for a short while. If this happens, stay out of rangeuntilthe spell breaks and let Petcho and your monster attack meanwhile. TheCrimsonSword seems to work best against him. Spells aren't as efficient though.Tocounter his confuse spell, you can also use the Mirror Shield, as it hasachance of nullifying the spell.

After you've defeated Winka, Petcho will prompt you to head out. Returntothe inn and while you're resting in your room, the innkeeper will comein. Itturns out the tool shop owner wants you to help him save his daughter,whoneeds a Heelan Egg. The doctors suggets that you pay a visit to thelibraryfirst, but the library owner doesn't want to let you in. Well, well. Soheadover to the Tower.

Guide: Work your way to the Heelan Egg (H) on the third platforms at thebottom

of the map, then you'll be taken back to town. To get items #22,23, 24

Fruit and hop in the rivulet along the path so you can reach theledge

with the items. Then follow the water up to the path with #13, 14,15

and 16 and use another Tunam Fruit for #22 when you get there.

After getting the Heelan Egg, the doctor will make the potion needed tosavethe tool shop owner's daughter. The librarian now wants you to help himsavehis grandson by finding a Ginobo Egg. It never stops around here,

apparently.You can now access the library and if you want, talk to the tool shopowner'sdaughter for a little thank you scene.

Guide: This floor appears to be complicated, but it's actually prettysimple.

To find the exit, head for the blocks (B) in the top-left corner

ofthe map and push them all the way right in front of the waterfall

(W).Once both blocks are blocking it, the water will be drained and a

newpath will be revealed if you return to the center of the map. The

exitis in the top-right corner room, so cross over using the two

Guide: This floor has vines that lead down to previous floors where youcan get items you couldn't reach before. You may need Tunam Fruitsfor certain of these items. In the bottom-left corner of the

floor,climb up the vine to get on the wall. You can get a Flash Sword byclimbing down the vine in the left room. This is also the floorwhere the boss awaits you.

Boss: Fungigore

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~You should be around LV21 at this point. Fungigore isn't really strong,butit'll send other small enemies attacking you, so make sure to have Petchowith you, along with one of your strongest monster partners. Have yourpartners attack the smaller enemies while you take care of Fungigore. TheCrimson Sword works well against it, as well as fire-based spells. If youhave the Orichalcon sword, it's your best bet, as it restores your HPeverytime you damage the enemy.

Guide: Once again, you'll need to use fire-based spells to burn down thegrass

blocking your way and reveal hidden items. It's on this floor thatyou'll find the Ginobo Egg for the librarian. When you get to thatpillar with the egg, tap "Search" on the touchscreen to make the

pillarcollapse and pick up the egg. When you return here later, just

walkdiagonally to bypass the pillar.

After acquiring the Ginobo Egg, you'll be taken back to the hospitalwhereDr. Jarett will prepare the medicine to cure Boxx's grandson. He'll tellyoumore about diseases caused by monsters and his desire to save people.Afteran argument with Petcho, Tao wakes up in the morning and receive thevisit ofBoxx and his grandson, now in good health. He'll reward you with theSage'sCrystal.

Guide: Finally a floor that requires some thinking. When you get to thatplatform with the blocks, don't touch anything. Leave them where

theyare. Instead, follow the bottom-left path until you get to anotherblock (K1 on the map). Push that block forward into the hole (#)

inthe stairway. Then, go back to the large platform with the blocks

andpush the southern block (K2) two spaces right, then push it down.

Itshould fall on top of the other block you pushed in the hole. Now

goback all the way to the stairway below and thanks to the blocks,

youcan now cross and pick up the Monster Egg.

After you've got your hands on the Murasame Sword ahead, come back

tothe platform with the blocks, and this time, push the remaining

block(C1) all the way down the path ahead. You'll get to an area withanother block (C2) and a switch. You'll notice that block C1 is

quitetaller than block C2, and that if you press the switch, a stairway

willraise up; a stairway with two holes, a tall one, and a small one.

Obviously, you'll want to place block C1 in the right hole, andblock

C2 in the left hole. So, before pressing the switch (press itagain to

return the floor to normal, if you did), push block C1 (the tallone)

at the emplacement of the 3rd step (@1) (where the stairway is

supposedto be) and block C2 (the small one) at the 8th step (@2). When youpress the switch again, the stairway will raise and if you placed

theblocks at the right spot, they should fall in the holes so you can

nowclimb up.

Boss: Missure~~~~~~~~~~~~~You should be around LV30 at this point. Missure attacks with magic

spellsand will cast one to seal all of your magic, so equip a sword instead(eitherOrichalcon or Murasame) and rely on normal attacks. The best strategywould beto have Gecodron (evolution of Gecola) with you and while standing besideMissure, have Gecodron use Phase Out. He will become invincible toattacks,so while Missure looses turns to attack Gecodron, keep attacking him withPetcho's help. He should go down pretty easily.

Guide: In the middle of the floor, there's some water that you need tocross

in order to reach the exit. To do so, you'll need to make a path

outof the blocks scattered around. Start by going around and push allthree blocks (K) in the water, then come back to the large blocks

(KK)and push one of the them in the water. Push the second one over

thefirst one and leave it there. Go around to the northern path so

youcan push that block south. This should create a pathway to the

othersidein the shape of a cross.

There's also another block (C) further on near the exit. When you

get to it, push it north into the small room there, then push it rightand

down the path. Keep pushing it south into the water so you cancross

over to a platform with a few items.

Guide:When you get to the part where you can't cross unless you push someblocks in the water to create a path, you'll need to push those blocksin a specific order to form the path. Using the map above,

first push block K1 all the way down to the water (at the location of the# pathon the map), then push down block K2 and block K3.

Block K3 should fallon top of block K2. Go back down to the path and push block K3 so itfalls in the water in front of the two other blocks.

Then push downblock K4, and finally, block K5. There should now be a path for you tocross the water.

Boss: Gonphanto~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~You should be around LV35 at this point. This fight becomes extremelyeasyif you use the Orichalcon sword. Gonphanto has pretty strong attacks thatdo a lot of damage, but using the Orichalcon, you can suck up back justas

much damage to replenish your HP.

After the fight, you'll be taken back to the inn. The innkeeper willinformyou that the mayor wants to discuss with you. Head for the Meeting Houseacross the bridge at the left to find the town elders. Apparently, eightoftheir children were kidnapped by monsters and trapped in the Tower.Obviously,it's up to you to rescue them.

Guide: Halfway through the floor, you'll come to a door blocked off by aspiderweb. Use Boa or any fire-based spell to burn it down. Beforegoing inside the spider's den, make sure that Petcho is with you.

If he's not, you'll get stuck. Once inside, you'll face Modura,who

holds two of the children captive. Your attacks don't do anydamage,

but keep attacking it during a few minutes to ensue a cutscenewhere

Tao will notice it's no use. Petcho will propose you leave.

Back in town, go see Gorsh. Then, head to the Hall of Dark Arts and talktoIzam. He'll entrust you the Blood Sword, which will allows you to defeatModura. Head back inside the Tower and return to Modura's den. Equip theBlood Sword and three hits should do to take down Modura. The twochildrenwho were prisoners are now saved, so you take them back home. Whee.

Now, go talk to Izam for another cutscene. He's looking for the egg of alegendary monster to save his family. Hum. Also, if you talk to Gorsh,he'll teach you the spell Poisola. That's all for now, so head in back to

the Tower and make it to Floor 28.

Guide: Before attempting this floor, make sure to buy a few Tunam Fruitsfrom

Guide: Once again, bring Tunam Fruits with you, in case you may want tocross

the water at some places to collect items and monster eggs, assome of

Guide: In the area with water and small platforms (where #2 and 3 are),use a Tunam Fruit to turn into a frog and swim to the bottom-rightcorner where you'll find a vine. Climb down that vine to reach asecret area with two chests.

Boss: Ti-Wu~~~~~~~~~~~You should be around LV40 at this point. Ti-Wu uses poison attacks, soit might be wise to bring a few Antidote Herbs with you. He's weak towater/ice spells, so if you choose to use magic, go with that. Otherwise,the Orichalcon sword should make a mouthful of him.

Guide: Depending on which exit you picked on Floor 32, you'll start in a

different area. If you enter by E1, you'll find another Modura. Aspreviously, burn down the spiderweb covering the door with a firespell, then equip your Blood Sword and take down Modura in threehits. The three children that were prisoners are now saved, so

you'll

take them back to the town. Once that's done, return to Floor 33by

E1 and re enter Modura's den. Exit by the door on the other sideand cross the area with the ice. You'll find a switch on the otherside. Press it, and a fountain will appear in the center of a

waterpool. Head on to that water pool in the center of the room and

walkdiagonally to reach the fountain in the middle. It's actually theexit to Floor 34.

Apart from that, there are also a few ice puzzles on this floor too. I'llgive the solution to each (check the map for the numbers).

Ice Puzzle 1: From the west path, slide right, up, left, down, left, up,right, down, left, up, right, down, left, then down to

reachthe chest with a Mazar Seed.

Ice Puzzle 2: From the north path, slide down, left, up, then left toreach

the chest with a Jewel.

Ice Puzzle 3: From the south path, slide up, left, down, right, up,right,

down and then right to reach the Monster Egg.

Ice Puzzle 4: From the north path, slide down, left, up, left, down,left,

up, right, down and left. You should end up at the edge ofthe platform. Walk diagonally to safely reach the path.

Ice Puzzle 5: From the east path, slide left, down, right, down, left,up,

left, down, right, down, right, up, right, and up to reachthe chest containing Fairy Spectacles.

Back in town after defeating Modura, don't forget to pay Gorsh a visit tolearn the spell Scan, and also, talk with Izam to get another amulet for

your Blood Sword.

and down to reach some slabs. Starting from the bottom,start

from the third slab and slide right to reach more slabs.Now

Guide: There's a very good sword you can get on this floor, but make sureto

have two Tunam Fruits with you before getting it. Head over to thesmall room with a throne (where #9 is on the map), and push that

throne

aside to reveal a secret passageway behind. Now use a Dwarf Fruitor aTunam Fruit and head inside. You'll find a secret room where

Excaliburlies. You can't cast Bound to leave this place, so use another

DwarfFruit or Tunam Fruit to exit.

Also, more ice puzzle fun.

Ice Puzzle 1: Do in sort that you reach the square of slabs in the centerof

the ice where the three Pita Fruits are. Starting fromthere,

start from the leftmost slab and slide down. A block willstop

you. From here, slide left to reach a Big Pita Fruit. Standon

the bottom slab here and slide right, down and left. Thisis the

path leading to the throne room and Excalibur. Now if youwant

to reach the south path leading to the exit, return to thesquare of slabs and start from the rightmost slab. Slide

towardsthe block at the right, then slide down and you're there.

Don'tforget about the Monster Egg in the northeast corner, if

it'sthere.

Ice Puzzle 2: This is a very small one. Start from the 8th slab (from thebottom) and slide right, down, right and then down to reach

theBig Pita Fruit.

Ice Puzzle 3: From the top slab, slide left, up, right, up, left, down,right,

up, left, up, right, down, left, up and go left to reachthe path.

Boss: Mermo~~~~~~~~~~~You should be around LV45 at this point. Mermo isn't very tough, but hehasa spell to restore all of his HP, which can be really annoying. However,thereis an easy strategy to defeat him. Start by using an Anti-Magic Sand onhim toprevent his healing spell. Then, cast Crea or use a Prayer Orb whilestandingnext to him. Those are for healing, but they will hurt Mermo, for somereason.It does a great deal of damage, so repeat this process and he'll be gone

in afew turns.

Guide: If you follow the path east of the exit, you'll come to a switchnext

to a lava pool. Press that switch to turn the lava into magma andrun

you just came from before the magma turns back into lava.

and head down the first path you see. Press the yellow switch here, thengoback to the previous room and follow the rightmost path. Press the blueswitchin the room at the end, then return to the previous room again and followtheleftmost path. Press the purple switch at the end, then go back and press

theyellow switch again, then the blue one again. Return to the first roomand gothrough the purple door next to the entrance. In the next room, go up thepathat the left and press the blue switch. Then go down through the yellowdoor.Don't press any switch in this room yet. Head left to the next room.

Go through the red door at the right and follow the path to a yellowswitch.Press it, then return to the room with the green and red switches. Pickup the

Terra, then press both switches and move on ahead to the room with thepurpleand red doors. Go through the red door and press the purple switch at theright. Then go through the door at the left. Head down the left path andpressthe white switch. Now go all the way up, then left and head down. Openthechest for a Master Rod, then return to the white switch annd press itagain.Now go back where you were and head up to the small maze. Go through it,thenenter Modura's den.

Equip the Blood Sword to take it down and save the three last children.It'snot over, though. Death Modura will show up, so keep attacking it withtheBlood Sword no matter what. Tao will start changing color as you attackit.Keep it up until you defeat it. As you exit the Tower with the children,Taowill collapse on the ground and is brought to the hospital. It turns outonlya Miracle Herb can save him. Gorsh will volunteer to go retrieve it.

You are now playing as Gorsh. All the doors on Floor 37 are open, so justhurry

to Floor 38. Once there, head over to the grassy area and pick up theMiracleHerb on the mound in the middle. You'll then get attacked by a bunch ofmonsters. Gorsh doesn't take any damage, so don't worry about it. Use aSleepOrb from his inventory, then strike all the enemies with normal attacks.That'sone powerful walking stick.

Guide: This floor is plunged into darkness, but you can shed some lightby

turning on the crystals in each room (use the search function).You

won't be able to battle the enemies or pick up items until you doso.

It's also sort of a maze, but you don't need to light up all thecrystals, simply work your way to the exit. Just make sure you

don'ttake a step in the purple paths on the map. You may also want to

getthe Godai's Staff, which lies in a secret room. In the northwest

room,look for a small openening at the bottom of the wall in the left

cornerand use a Tunam Fruit or Dwarf Fruit to go through. You'll find

theGodai's Staff in the secret room behind.

Final Boss: Dogura Chaos~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Make sure to bring a lot of Big Pita Fruits and healing items. Equip yourmostpowerful staff and walk up to the boss. While facing it, cast a LV6 spelllikeGigas or Olofi. Using this method, you can take down all of its arms intwo orthree turns with the Witch's Ring equipped. Once its arms are gone, youcanstart attacking the body with spells or a sword. After a while, the bosswillchange into several small enemies. Cast LV6 spells again to take them

down allat once and the boss will change again. This time, it'll warp around theroom,making it hard to attack it.

If you observe it, though, you'll notice it always reappears at the samespots. So just stand somewhere it often appears and stay still thereuntil itwarps next to you (you can watch the bottom screen and see when 'Strike'

appears). When this happens, quickly hit it and repeat the process untilitchanges form again. The final form, a dark ball of energy, can't be hit,solet it kill you and the Bente Charm will bring you back in town.

You'll wake up at the hospital. Once back on foot, head over to see Izam,who'll give you the Orion. Return to the boss with the staff in hand, andjust let it kill you, again. You can hit it this time around with theOrion,but it doesn't actually do anything. Tao will cast the spell SpiritImpactand get rid of Dogura Chaos.

SPOILERS

Tao fixes the seal at the top of the tower and heads back down with thelegendary egg of Xenophoenix, which has the power to heal everything.Aftersaving the elders, he sets sail back to his island with the monster tosave his village.
