PRONUNCIATION - PHONETICS

A practical course intended to improve your American English pronunciation and

accent.

DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE

It is the ideal program for those students who wish to take to TOEFL iBT test or any

other examination containing an oral section. It is also extremely useful if their maingoal is to get rid of their Spanish accent when speaking English.

It is the course that complements grammatical and lexical knowledge of the English

language. The students will be provided with intensive oral practice in order for

them to acquire a thorough understanding of the sound system of English. In the

process of learning to identify and apply new sounds and voice patterns, the

students also attain improved comprehension of the language as it is spoken.

Interactive

Students participate in a variety of exercises. These involve listening and repeating,

listening and responding, and many types of interactions utilizing analogies,

synonyms, paraphrasing, and verbal exchanges.

Integrative

An integrative approach makes the course compact. While each section is completein itself, the lessons address subject matter from previous sections.
