Extasiado ante el mundo se repliega como el abstruso rasgo de un escriba, con un mohín de cariciosa entrega que al mismo tiempo busca lo que esquiva.

Ágil, atento a su perfil innato de peligrosas electricidades, nunca quiso ser nada sino gato, un gato sin el mal de las maldades.

Es fantasmal, no obstante, su belleza

pues un raro fulgor adamantino en sus ojos oculta la certeza de que puede leernos el destino.

Sutil y sibilante, es un gimnasta con equilibrios de volatinero,

que esgrime adrede un aire iconoclasta

y puede bostezarle al mundo entero.

¿Qué sabemos del gato?... Es un abismo

que nos sugiere cada vez más duda, una especie ilegible de aforismo escrito por un Dios en lengua muda.

Y un animal tan lleno de sí mismo

que al contemplar el Cosmos estornuda.
