Hola: No logro conectar el FTP al hercules, el FTP no encuentra el Host, nisiquiera logro hacer ping ¿alguna pista?

Una pista: ¿configuraste el adaptador loopback en tu PC?

Hola muy buenas a todos.

Es la primera vez que pongo una pregunta en el foro pero llevo muchotiempo leyéndolo.

He puesto el microsoft loopback adapter con IP:192.168.2.1, el problema esque arranco el hercules y sigo sin ver esta ip desde el hercules, desde el hostdoy un ping a esta ip y sigue sin verla, me podríais ayudar.

La dirección de loopback en el SO anfitrión (parece que es un Windows)debe ser siempre 127.0.0.1(localhost). ¿Has definido correctamenete la tarjeta de red en el fichero deconfiguracion del Hercules? ¿El SO anfitrion tiene IPForwarding activado? ¿Estan bien definidos los valores en la Pila TCP del MVS?

Como te indica LuisFer, la direccion de 'loopback' debe ser siempre enWindows y cualquier otro sistema, 127.0.0.1 es la reservada para esafuncion, es la que usa el TCP/IP para redireccionar internamente el flujo dedatos dentro del mismo equipo. Entre otras cosas se utiliza para que dos aplicaciones en el mismo Host sepuedan comunicar entre si el, el TCP/IP los comunica atraves de esteloopback. El default en la Host table es: 127.0.0.1 localhost asi que si cualquier aplicacion se quiere comunicar con otra en el mismohost usando ese nombre de servidor (localhost) nunca podra encontrarlo porque cambiaste la direccion de loopback.

Puedes aclarar cual es tu entorno de TCP/IP, es decir como estaconfigurado el host donde corre el Hercules, como esta configurado elHercules, y como esta configurada la estacion desde la cual te quieresconectar via FTP.

Para que funcione en cualquier caso hay que tener el IP.FORWARDING = 1(reenvio de paquetes activado) en el sistema anfitrión.Para el caso de Linux se realiza con :e c h o 1 > / p r o c / s y s / n e t / i p v 4 / i p _ f o r w a r d

Si se desea mantener entre reinicios:

editar edit /etc/sysconfig/network y cambiar la linea FORWARD_IPV4 a YESF O R W A R D _ I P V 4 = Y E S

Alli hablan de la configuracion del Networking bajo Windows para elHercules. Por lo que vi primero tienes que instalar un Packet driver (WINCAP).

Hola a todos, soy nuevo en esto de Hércules y me gustaría hacer trasnfers através de FTP, pero no puedo hacer esto, hoy puedo hacer transferencias através de IND $ (local y remota), pero me gustaría hacer esta transferenciaFTP , ¿me pueden ayudar?

Aquí tienes algunos detalles sobre lo que he hecho

Estoy usando el emulador de Vista, con Hércules, MVS1.4.

Tengo el circuito Volver 172.16.0.36 con el período de investigación, He leído que debo configurar el IPRouting de Hércules y modificar unregistro de Windows, y algo acerca de la tarjeta de red sin embargo yo nosé cómo hacerlo? ¿Me pueden ayudar, me detallan los pasos de este?

Esta es mi PERFIL DS Herc de mi, o al menos eso es lo que tengo modificar..

La primera IP es la ficticia y la segunda la real de tu tarjeta(No hace faltausar loopback si tienes tarjeta de red). Para usar una ficticia debescomprobar que en esa IP no hay nadie.

Debes modicar el profile del tcpip del HOST como indico.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Hola, perdon si este comentario esta respondido antes, pero no loencontré.

¿Que versión de MVS/OS390/Zos estan usando bajo Hercules?.

Yo no recuerdo exactamente cuando comenzó el TCPIP en Mainframe,peroseguramente fue en una versión que no esta liberada, tipo OS390 2.5.Antes de eso para llegar a una red no-SNA se salia por una 3725-45 o 3174con el adaptador correspondiente y las definciones de VTAM adecuadas, solopara emulación, pero las aplicaciones Unix (Telnet, FTP, SMTP y demas) noestaban disponibles. Por lo tanto, con una versión vieja de MVS tipo 3.8 quees la disponible para Hercules, no se podrá hacer FTP simplemente porqueno existe el cliente en el mainframe. Por esto se puede usar el IND$FILEque indican mas arriba via emulador.



En realidad todo el comentario es una pregunta para que alguien agreguemas informacion.

Hola a todos.

Ya despues de tantos problemas y frustraciones he podido salir a la red.

Aqui les respondo las preguntas y paso algunos puntos que pude observardurante el proceso de configuracion:

1.- El loopback no es necesario para la conexion de Hercules2.- fernandolbc, tengo la misma configuracion que comentaste tanto en elPROFILE como en versiones pero aun asi no tenia salida a la red, ni ping, ni FTP,3.- nlacabe, cheque el Job de TCPIP pero no especifica la version, perotengo entendido que es la misma version que el MVS

4.- Asi que puedo comentar que las funcionalidades de TCPIP, PING, FTP ydemas ya estaban corriendo desde ace rato, pero despues de regresar a las bases y releer la documentacion pudenotar mi problema descrito en la pag.16 de Windows Install en la parte 4.1.1 Windows Versions:

Some users experienced problems with TCP/IP functionality when runningunder Windows XP with ServicePack 2 while other users did not encounter these issues. The presentingproblem with this configuration

is: It is possible to connect from the Host operating system to the Herculesmachine and vice versa,however it is not possible to get a connection to another workstation on theLAN or the Internet. Most ofthese issues are related to configuration problems with the Windows XPfirewall, introduced with ServicePack 2. Creating correct rules in either the Windows internal firewall or analternative firewall productsolves these problems.

asi que tome la medida de cambiar a Windows SP3 y sin mayor problema yatengo salida a la red.Espero que los comentarios les sean de utilidad.
