DFM Aguas born collecting the know-how of its parent undertaking "MCV", with over 40 years of maintaining anddeveloping its constant concern for environmental conservation and improvement of the quality of living, focusingprimarily on the Studying the behavior of water systems,natural and artificial,considering that the former, in particular ourrivers, to act as surface drainage elements of the earth's crust, are receiving all the impact that human activity becomeexcellent indicators the health of our environment.

The idea of creating "MCV" (Trademark) Integrated today in DFMAguas SL,was born in 1956 as workshop Mechanization,Boilers, and Industrial Installations. Located in Madrid, the brand was created Kaloterm. Subsequently to 1968 wasestablished in Tomelloso (Ciudad Real) Spain, with his own workshop in C / Domec, for the Mechanization, Boilers andInstallation,counting with an area of 110 m2.The projects carried out were hired by construction and engineering devotedto the environment and located in Madrid,Spain.

Due to a great development and growth in 1974 MCV relocates to C / Calatrava counting with an area of 500 m2.Afterseveral years working within the Environment sector MCV designs and legitimizes the Ministry of Industry and Energy ofCiudad Real "brand boilers Kaloterm" up to 100,000 kg and Certification "Manufacturers Installers and maintainers ofplant and equipment for pressure hot water and steam to carbon steel materials and stainless steel."

From 1982 to 1988 the brand was consolidated MCV becoming "Trademark" (formerly acronym of the founder ManuelCarrascoValderrama).Steady growth and continued MCV within the Environment sector and the consequent increase inhiring by construction and engineering, the company promotes the creation of a new facility located on the road betweenKm 0.500Argamasilla deAlbaTomelloso on an area of 16,000 m2 of which were used a total of 1,500 m2 are for workshopsand offices.

In 1993, expanding both manufacturing facilities, office, car stockpiling, loading, unloading and preparation of surfaceblasting and painting, in order to continue the functions of "Design, Manufacture and installation of equipment for watertreatment" and technological and functional improvements of existing equipment on the market.With such a growth pathand is created that currently DFM Aguas (Design,Water Treatment Plant and Technology, Design and manufactured in-house R & D & I Construction and Maintenance Services and Operations) to expand its facilities so surface and in charge ofmanufacturing machinery.DFMAguas gets to be the first Spanish company with proprietary technology patents intendedfor water treatment and other specific equipment for industrial and construction needs.

SECTION VI

ORGANIZATION OF DFM Aguas, S.L.

This Section describes the organization of DFM Aguas and lists the functions of the departments that are involved in the activities of the System of Quality Assurance. When a Department performs a function, has the responsibility and authority delegated to it by the Manager. Appended to this section shall include the Organization of DFM Aguas.

The position of Quality Manager is on the Technical Director and Commercial Manager acting on behalf of the delegation and the management quality system and all that that implies.

MANAGER

The Manager has ultimate authority and responsibility within DFM Aguas, to oversee all departments of the Company in the areas of quality, technical, economic and personal. The delegated manager, manager in the figure of tasks Quality System Management Quality Assurance, in the sense indicated in paragraph 4.1.2.3. Standard UNE-EN-ISO 9001. Manager functions directly related to quality are:

1 .- CONSTRUCTION

NATIONAL

DFM Aguas drafts tender projects for the construction of wastewater treatment plants, such tenders

being prepared as stand-alone or in consortium depending on the volume or commercial position of the

area where the bid is made and on the agreed percentages, but never below 50 % except in special

circumstances.

DFM Aguas is usually responsible for the implementation of tender projects and in some cases,

depending on the workload, outsources some work, but in those construction projects what DFM Aguas

does is outsource the performance of those construction projects to external engineering firms, which

are supervised by DFM Aguas with regard to both the civil works and the electromechanical equipment.

In Construction Phases DFM Aguas directs and manages the work and outsources those elements that

are not part of its activity, such as civil engineering and civil engineering machinery. Likewise it also

manages all construction activity (formwork, ironwork, excavation, concrete pouring, etc.): It also

manages and builds, by its own means, all manufacturing and installation of electromechanical

equipment and plant boilerwork in general.

INTERNATIONAL

As a general rule for the international market and as support in the implementation of the work, DFM

Aguas tries to join with local construction companies to carry out the bidding, or with consulting firms

that are able to provide the external information and means necessary for performance of the work to be

outsourced. For this reason it is necessary that these companies are local and familiar with the market.

Such unions are usually Joint Ventures at 50% and such works also depend on the case of DFM Aguas

being the party that manages the work and the partner incorporating means to the union. Similarly DFM

Aguas is responsible for the supply of Equipment and Boilerwork for implementation of the works.

2 .- MANUFACTURING

NATIONAL

DFM Aguas performs detail engineering work of the technology installed in each of the individual

plants awarded as direct contract or, as subcontractor, also develops the installation activity of all

piping, pumps, etc. in the plant: that is, turnkey electromechanical facilities including the provision of

external equipment such as pumps, valves, etc., that are not produced in-house but for which the

installation and set-up procedure is known.

All manufacturing is performed in our facilities with our own staff and, if necessary, subcontracted

and supervised by DFM Aguas. In the case of assembly work, it is also done with our own staff, or

outsourced and supervised by DFM Aguas.

INTERNATIONAL

For the international market and depending on which country and the importation activity that

country has, the main objective of DFM Aguas is to export its products from Spain. Because of the fact

that the country in question imports most of the technology for water treatment, this favours DFM

Aguas since usually exporting firms tend to be intermediaries or consultants, and not manufacturers,

which makes DFM Aguas more competitive. And even if they were manufacturers, DFM Aguas can

always adjust its margins in terms of the competitive features of the product in that country without

creating competition for itself.

When the need to reduce costs is required because of the high level of local competition that may

exist, DFM Aguas uses local factories to do the manufacturing by providing the structural fabrication

drawings of those parts that are so big that they result in high transport costs. In this way it is possible to

reduce those costs.

There has also been the case that the main builder has wanted to buy the engineering and not the

entire equipment. In this case DFM Aguas also has prices for engineering without electromechanical

parts, so that the main contractor carries out the manufacture with the additional supply of machining

elements, motors and electrical panels. This case has occurred in Egypt. (E2836)

3 .- MAINTENANCE

-NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL

For the maintenance service activity of Water Purification Plants, DFM Aguas, together with the

construction project, prepares a MAINTENANCE PROJECT in parallel for managing the Purification

Plant, wherein the organizational chart is established and the procedures for conducting the work, as

well as the cost control and monthly certification.

The training is done in the process of carrying out the maintenance project and also subsequently in

the Start-Up process and in the following months when the plant is operating.

AIR COMPRESSOR

The AC series of air compressor consists of low revolution compressors, which are commonly used in workshops in frequent need of more air at a work pressure bigger than 10 or 12 bar.

The AC range includes compressors of 2 to 10 CV, with tanks of 25 to 500 litres. As well as with the AF series, there is a solution for each application. The AC range stands out with its special features such as the large fan and the special back cooling system (in models of over 4 CV) as well as the low revolutions. The AC Automan guarantees a continuous performance and minimal maintenance in a great variety of applications.

STAINLESS STEEL CARTRIDGE FILTER

STEEL MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS:

- Design:

Filters offered are designed according to design code ASME VIII, Division 1. In this case the calculations are made for a design pressure of 4 Bar.

- Material of construction:

The filters are constructed of stainless steel AISI316 as being the external hardware AISI316 stainless steel as well. The internal elements in contact with water are of plastic.

- Interior and exterior finish: Both the interior and exterior finish has a blast.

MATERIAL TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS PRFV:

- Design:

Filters offered are designed according to design code Ad-Merkbatt code, widely used in the European Union for GRP vessels. In this case the calculations are made for a design pressure of 4 bar, respectively.

- Material of manufacture: The material for the manufacture of these filters is fiber reinforced polyester (GRP), having proven to be the most appropriate in terms of durability. The elements that make up the body or casing of the filter is manufactured using male molds on which they apply successive layers of resin and fiber manually (hand lay up). This gives an inner surface of low friction and low pressure drop accordingly.

The baffle is also manufactured in GRP and being an integral part of the body or casing, is not considered as a domestic. The internal elements and the false bottom plate are made of PVC, with the exception of the closing springs of the filter cartridges to be of natural metal, incorporating a plastic coating.

End joints of the body are rings made of butyl rubber, neoprene or the like. They are designed to facilitate their replacement / reset by the operator, without requiring the manufacturer of the body.

The external hardware is stainless steel AISI316 (Quality A2), and the feet structure supporting the filter, carbon steel.

All of it will be manufactured according to European Directive 97/23 EC Pressure Vessels, Section 3.3. (Http://ped.eurodyn.com).

- Interior and Exterior finish. Painted: The interior of the body does not undergo any surface treatment. The exterior finish, however, will follow the following process: Primer Two-component coating with good bonding to GRP. Painted finish with two-component paint.

CONNECTIONS: - According to attached plans:

We recommend that the connections vent purges, cleaning and emptying, as well as links to items are executed by flanged connections rather than threaded, in order to avoid locking problems when installing the equipment.

CARTRIDGES AND PLACEMENT: Filter cartridges to be accommodated in the filters, check and Ref Fluytec 5PP-5, have a core of polypropylene injected and filtration efficiency is greater than 95%, in nominal filtration degree, 5 mm.

The cartridge length is 1,250 mm. and inner and outer diameters 28 and 60 mm.

- Filter cartridges traditional: The filters FTP-5 and FTI-5 are designed according to traditional cartridge filters, in which the replacement of filter elements is carried out individually. Looking ahead to ensure the sealing of the ends of the cartridges, they are placed as follows: At the bottom sit on the guide tubes false bottom plate, fitted with a circular seat that will be embedded in the cartridge end. At its upper side a piece, called stub, to carry out the closure of the cartridge by a spring that presses against the latch plate.In order to facilitate the opening of the upper lid when filter replacement cartridges, these devices can optionally be fitted with a lifting arm.

General descriptionAUTOMATIC SCREENS

These screens are equipment with a mobile comb wich cleans the screen preidically, either the front or the back of it. These cleaning systems are acctionned by chains, clable or hydraulic system. The extracted waste materials are unloaded on conveyor belts or screws towards a compacting press (which currently will normaly incorporate a waste materials washing system) and are nally palced in a waste container to be transported to a controlled wastland site.

The screen with automatic cleaning are normally straight and can reach a height of up to 10 meter depending on the separation between bars, we can dienciate between coarse solids screens or grilles with a space between bars of 25 mm to 100 mm and ned solids grilles, with space between bars of 10 mm to 25 mm.

The parameter of design to calculate the grilles and sieves are the ow speed and the channel width hereafter we show the main characteristics to take into account for a project of screen insta-llation.

The channel where the grills are placed must be designed in a way that prevents the accumulla-tion of sand and other heavy materials, both in front of behind the grille. For that, special atten-tion must be paid to the incline and the speed of water apporaching the channel. The incline will have to be horizontal or descendant in the direc-tion of the ow through the grille, without bumps or imperfections where somo solids could remain trapped.

Ideally, the channel must be straight and perpen-dicular to the grille, with the idea of acheiving an even distribution of solids in the ow and the grille, with the idea of acheiving an even distri-buion of solids int the ow and the gille. To reduce solids decantation in the channel to the minimun approachin speeds of over 0.47 m/sc are recommended. At peak ow , the passing speed through the bars must not be over 0.9 m/sc to avoid the dragging of waste through the grilles.

Most plants will count on two units of automatics screens so it is possible to leave one out of service to carry out any maintenance work. It is always convenient to install channel gates uyp and down the water ow for each grille , so one unit can be left dry. If only one unit is instlled , it necessary to includea by pass channel with a cleaning sreen manual to be used in and emergency.

The operating of the grille cleaning system is automatic, by using a timer and it usually includes a system (lead line for maximun level) which, whenever it detects a rising of the water levels, activates the continuous operating of the equip-ment until the level measure is deactivated. So it is a combined systen of timer and load loss.

COMBThe Cleaning combs are built in steel plate and their number will depend on the chains rotation length and also depending on the quantity of solids that can be block by the grille. They are usually built in dierent sectors to avoid the substitution of a whole comb in case of damage or breakage of a tooth. Some special accessories allow the attachment of the comb to the chains.

CHAINS The chains move along some guides, thanks to the movement created by the dented wheel, action by the motor shaft. The type of chain is: conveyour of double rolls and considerable brea-king load.

Constructive Elements are :

GRILLEThe solid retention grille is made out of and ensemble of platines welded to a main frame, built our of proles, that leans on the botton of the channel, adopting and incline in relatoin to in of 75. The topo part of the grille rises over the water surface. It gets attached to the channel by some supports anchored to the wall.

RAMPAt the bottom of the grille there is a ramp with the same turning radius as that described by the combs, with thte mision of facilitating the collec-tion of waste materials accumulated at the bottom and allow was well the correct tting of the teeht between the bars.

INCLINED AUTOMATIC SCREEN WITH FRONTAL CLEANING SYSTEM

FRAME Frame monoblock built with structrual proles of tubular section, with their own reinforcements. With the same frame, the cradle for the dirve motorregear and also the pivoting mechanism, called comb-clear, is also installed. This frame is anchored to the operating oor of the channel where is located.

SUFFERING SHEETIt is a sheet that goes in prolongation of the grid, with the same inclination, solidary to the frame, and for which the dirty slips until it comes out for its high point.

CALCULATION PROCESSThe calculation process requires to determine the number of channels necessary to keep the parameters mentioned before. The channel width will be unique for the dierent units of renement installed in a series: Coarse solids grille, Rened solids grille, sieves.

Measures to Consider 1. Channel width for the rened solids grille.2. Channel width for the coarse solids grille.3. Channel width for the sieve.4. Final channel width, choosing the data from the installation, which in relation to the previous results, will require a wider width.

Finally, it will be necessary to check that the speed of the water approaching by the channel. Is within the established limits.

The Designe makes :a) Dene the channel width where the grille will be installed.

The calcu-lation of the piezometric line will dene the elevation of girder of the channel.

The parts manufactured in carbon steel will receive an anti-corrosive treatment consisting of Hot Galvanizing by immersion in Melted Zinc, in compliance to the requirements dened at R.D. 2431 / 85 and regulations UNE 37.301.88 ,37.501.88 and 37.508.88.

Carbon steel parts can also be cleaned by previous sand silica blast, to grade Sa 2 in compliance To regulations SIS 055900 equivalent to SSPC CP 10 or UNE 48302 1998. Followed later by an application of paint according to clients demands.

Stainless steel parts will undergo a corrosive treatment by chemical stripping of surfaces and weldings, followed by a jet-water wash.

To the parts of stainless steel a corrosive treatment will be applied to it by means of chemical stripping of surfaces and welds by later wash of water to pressure.
