Santiago Felipe Borja Lombeida

I worked for Schlumberger in Ecuador for around six years and six months gaining experience in areas of oil in technical and supervisory sides (as project leader), participating in projects of exploration and exploitation, Quality, Health, Environment.

I have had the honor and responsibility of supervising engineers distributed in city offices (Quito) and field (Shushufindi, temporarily) and as Project Leader, and 3 interns in data loading.

My las job was in Ecuador Esgtrategico EP as Technology Director leading a team of 5 Engineers implementing, learning and acquiring new knowledge.

My north in all my aspects is to exceed customer expectations making you feel the experience of the activities performed well with an emphasis on teamwork, this way links between the Company / Entity and the Customer or User.

Loyalty is also one of my highlights, loyalty to the institution and my superiors is one of the most important values that I possess.

I´m Systems Engeneer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador.

EXPERIENCE

Ecuador Estratégico EP October 2015 – March 2016:

Technology Director in charge of 5 engineers, I develop all non-existing processes and coupling the ongoing old processes to ensure the work of all the company itself which is in charge of 300 people with 8 agencies distributed throughout the Ecuadorian territory. I quit from this company in March 2016.

Consorcio Shushufindi July 2012 – January 2015:

Leader MIA project (IOC), I was the designer and supervisor of a remote monitoring for field operations of drilling rigs and production wells in Shushufindi-Aguarico field reporting to the Manager of the MIA, I supervise 16 engineers (temporarily to the field). I was responsable of the meassurement sensors and the communications in the field. I also implement processes and procedures to improve the monitoring and to generate alarms that prevent non-productive time, increasing the efficiency of operations optimizing the way we do the day by day tasks with the help of experts in several fiels such as drilling, production, etc.

The Designs implemented were based on a proprietary system of Schlumberger (SLB) with IT and SIS communications solution for data transmission in real time to make sensor signals drilling and workover for viewing in Quito and around the world with authorizations provided by SLB.

Video equipment BARCO was installed with the help of this Company in two rooms that are managed with home automation equipment from WIFI, this insfrastructure helps projection for meetings and for remote monitoring, was a unique projection Project that allows remote Jobs working together with more tan 400 km of distance between headquarters and field.

I was the Project supervisor for the daily data loading for daily reports of the field, that was loaded in OpenWells by 3 interns to get the data in the data bases of the client, PAM.

Schlumberger November 2008 – July 2012:

I had an internship of 7 months in Schlumberger Information Solutions, thanks to the good work done I was hired to perform all activities described below.

Information Management Engineer supervising the operations of the data center and electrical records working with four engineers for the segments of SLB Ecuador as Wireline, DCS and D&M, the last one get an additional service with seismic data with quality assurance and data loading saving time of the experts, that increases the revenew in $ 20 k.

I was part of the team that made the project PDDMS for the client PETROPRODUCCION implementing AVM solutions for production data and Osprey daily reports for drilling, completion and workover.

I train and load customer data in OFM tool, OildFieldManager, for historical production wells that reduces times and facilitating the work displaying the data in a graphical way.

OTHER SKILLS

I was the leader of the Loss Prevention Team (LPT), first as member by the SIS side and after as leader of the team for the geomarket Ecuador since 2009 until 2012, next I moved for consorcio Shushufindi and again I was leader of the LPT for this company since June 2014 until January 2015.

My highligths during this periods were:

Waste management and field Quito aimed at Hermano Miguel Foundation.- Battery recycling with the aid of an agreement with the municipality in the municipal district of Quito.

- Create the wellness program that helped everyone in the company with yoga classes, BodyCombat, Dance and 3 times per week in the workplace 15 minutes of stretching, active breaks, this in order to avoid ergonomic problems.

I applied the ISO 14000, previously obtained certification to improve our operations, SLB, for this reason I had two awards in 2010 personally, I do not mention other group awards:

- Dedication and Leadership in HSE in developing the Battery Recycling campaign.- Dedication and Leadership in HSE to obtain the agreement between SLB and Hermano Miguel Foundation for Recycling.

ACHIEVEMENTS

During my work as a supervisor and as part of the team in Shushufindi Consortium Schlumberger and I got the following:

- Implementation of real-time data from different signal providers surface GSS, MDTotco.

- Part of the team that managed to increase production of Shushufindi field of 40,000 to 75,000 barrels per day, profit for the Consortium and Ecuador in 1 year.

- Part of the team that reduced drilling days from 30 to 23 approximately, with the savings that this generated and generates.

- Increase the income from electric logs of print $ 25k to $ 40k.

- New work on seismic data management and D & M.

- Two agreements, with a foundation and another with the municipal government to free Schlumberger gave environmental releases in Quito offices and supporting field offices.

- Active wellness program and breaks Conscorcio Shushufindi and Schlumberger both in Quito and in field offices.
