CURSO INTESIVO DE INGLÉS PARA INGENIEROS EN IRLANDA ACTIVIDADES DE NETWORKING

Presentación:

El Consejo General de la Ingeniería de la rama Industrial trabaja este año en la firma de un convenio para el reconocimiento mutuo de la Acreditación de profesionales del COGITI y la Asociación de Ingenieros irlandeses Engineers of Irland (http://www.engineersireland.ie) Este acuerdo permitirá acceder de forma acelerada a la certificación el Chartered y Associate engineer y a la Acreditación DPC Ingenieros recíprocamente.

Como actividad que abre la vía de colaboración entre ambas instituciones, el COGITI conjuntamente con el Engineers of Irland, organiza el próximo mes de julio un curso intensivo de inglés para ingenieros. El curso estará dirigido a ingenieros con un nivel medio/alto de inglés y será impartido por profesores nativos. El objetivo es lograr una inmersión lingüística profunda durante una semana. Asimismo, actividades extras en inglés se impartirán con el propósito de conocer el sector de ingeniería/industria irlandés.

Por todo ello, en el contexto del convenio de colaboración que está previsto suscribir entre ambas instituciones, y con la finalidad de establecer vías de colaboración, se realizará, tras el curso de inglés, sesiones de información y networking en conjunto con el Engineers of Irland.

Curso de inglés:

Fechas: 4 al 08/04/2016. Horas de formación: 30 h. Horas de actividades extras en inglés: 10 h. Horarios: 9.15 to 12.30 am y 13.15 to 16.15 pm Lugar del curso: Instalaciones de la Asociación de Ingenieros Irlandeses Engineers Ireland - 22 Clyde Rd, Dublin 4, Irlanda Plazas limitadas: 10. Nivel mínimo de inglés: B1 o B1+ Material didáctico: Incluido en el precio. Precio: 460 Euros. Clases de inglés + Comida (sándwich) y café/pastas + alquiler sala + Cena / Cata de vinos día 10 de julio.

En el precio no está incluido: Vuelo, Transporte y Hotel (coste aproximado 600 euros).

04/04/2016 – 17.00 h: Presentación del sector de la ingeniería en Irlanda (inglés). 05/04/2016 – 17.00 h: Empresas innovadoras en el sector industrial irlandés (inglés). 07/04/2016 – 17.00 h: Firma del Acuerdo COGITI – Engineers of Irland y sesión de networking con los miembros del Engineers of Irland. Cata de vino Español y cena de despedida. Lugar: Oficinas del Engineers of Irland.

Descripción del curso:

Develop understanding, confidence and fluency in English.

Classes have a strong professional focus and include:

. Revise Practical grammar and practice, business verbs and phrases, useful tips in speaking and writing. . Use engineering vocabulary key/useful phrases, idioms for the professional workplace. . Write professional emails, responses, updating CV, identifying. . Promote professional skills and enhancing presentation skills, taking notes, describing industrial and technical processes. . Learn Pronunciation: 'breaking the accent' developing vowels, tempo, fluency and clarity. . Develop listening skills in conversation and at work. All students will receive a Trinity Centre Coursebook including handouts and a USB detailing full course material. Each day students will focus on practical and relevant material that will develop overall understanding, confidence and fluency in English. They will focus on work-related vocabulary, grammar, listening skills and pronunciation.

Classes will have a strong professional focus and will include:

1. Practical grammar revision and practice, business verbs and phrases, useful tips in speaking and writing.

2. Engineering vocabulary key/useful phrases, idioms/phrases for the professional workplace.

3. Reading: reports and articles on up-to-date engineering issues on a local and European level, vocabulary focus on current topics. Listing and revising material sourced from websites, magazines, video documentary.

4. Writing: professional emails, responses, updating CV, identifying / promoting professional skills and enhancing presentation skills, taking notes, describing industrial and technical processes, describing industrial and economic changes English online.

5. Pronunciation: 'breaking the accent' developing vowels, tempo, fluency and clarity in speaking with intense pronunciation training. Spanish English comparison.

6. Speaking exercises, Live professional telephone practice, role play, natural spoken tone. Preparing and presenting ideas to a group.

7. Listening to reports from current sources on the developing EU, national and local projects and opportunities including comprehension questions.

NOTA INFORMATIVA: En caso de no llegar al mínimo (6 alumnos), el curso no se realizará.
