Dear Sirs and Madams,

Welcome to our seventh edition of the Culture

Agenda. School is over, everybody is on holiday

and our towns have the best ways to please you

all. This month many towns celebrate the Patron-

age Festivities, the most important festivities of the

year. There are also different tournaments at the

beaches such as tennis, volleyball and football.

Enjoy the great weather and your free time until Autumn knocks on your door.

Tortosa 29th June- 5th July Jazz Concert 19th – 22nd XVII Edition of the Renaissance festivals. Many shows and performances about the Middle Ages in Catalonia.

Xerta 22th - 25th Patronage festivities in honor of St. James. You will enjoy these four days of activities with popular lunches, gymkha nas, music and bullfighting.

Alcanar 28th Day of the muscles of the Ebro Delta, when the attendants

eat a lot of muscles from the Ebro Delta.

Amposta 23th - 28th In Poble Nou, a summer school of “jotes” called “Jotacampus”, will combine the apprenticeship with the fun activities of this región.

La Galera 27th June– 26 July. Exposition about the ancient cultures of the Ebro Delta at the Museum “Terracota”.

La Sénia Every Sunday sardana( a traditional dance of the Delta de l’E bre) dances at the working centre.

Santa Bàrbara 8th - 17th Patronage festivities with traditional activities, bullfigh ting, concerts, dances, popular lunches and a lot of show.
