OJO: SOLO LAS CÉLULAS PLASMÁTICAS FABRICAN ANTICUERPOS………..
¿Qué son los ANTICUERPOS? Son proteínas globulares, formadas por 4
cadenas polipeptídicas, dos pesadas, llamadas H (heavy), y dos ligeras, denominadas L (light).
Existen dos tipos de cadenas L (l y k) y cinco tipos de cadenas H (a, d, e, g y m), que dan lugar a los cinco isótopos de inmunoglobulina existentes (A, D, E, G y M).

CAMBIO DE CLASE O SELECCIÓN CLONAL
Todos los linfocitos B poseen en su membrana dos tipos de Igs: IgM e IgD.
Estas Igs son las primeras que se sintetizan y se secretan, pero en una segunda exposición se generan nuevas Igs.

MHC las MHC de tipo I son proteínas de membrana
existentes en todas las células del organismo excepto los glóbulos rojos.
Las MHC de tipo II sólo están presentes en las células del timo o en las células T que han sido activadas por exposición a un antígeno

FUNCIÓN DEL MHC
Para que tenga lugar una respuesta inmune, los linfocitos B y T tiene que reconocer que se encuentran ante una sustancia extraña. Los primeros pueden reconocer cualquier antígeno presente en los medios extracelulares. Por el contrario, los linfocitos T sólo reconocen algunos fragmentos que han sido previamente procesados y acoplados a los complejos antigénicos de histocompatibilidad (MHC).
