Even though He is my dad, Woody is my best friend.He listens to me, plays with me, and shoots the bullwith me. We spend most of our time together doingwork, hunting, and playing around. We like to huntespecially because thats what we both grew uplearning to do. What we most have in common thoughis playing pranks on each other. We enjoy just

laughing and joking with each other and anyone else.Our favorite companion would be Colt, our really stupidone and a half year old yellow lab. I love him with all Ihave and it would be hard to not have him around.Ever since the separation between him and my mom,he has given me more attention which I like but also wehave helped each other out. He is the most importantperson in my life next to God but I really appreciate

having my dad to talk to and look up to. We have avery close relationship, which is love-hate, but he isimportant to me because he has always cared andbeen there for me when I needed him.

y Barringer is a man who enjoys the outdoors. Heworks for BRS Inc. and likes to work on guns, dirtbikes, and building things. He isnt into huntingmuch anymore because he thinks it is easier to buyan eight dollar steak then spend time and moneysitting in a tree stand hunting. He is very religiousand loves his wife very much. He has a dirt biketrack in front of his house and we will ride togetherevery once in a blue moon. He builds and works on

guns in his workshop which is actually in his house.When I travel to his house we will usually just sitaround and talk while we watch TV because heworks long days and likes to rest. I like hischaracter because unlike people that try hard tomake jokes, he doesnt try for jokes but jokes justcome out funny. He recently got into kayakingmore. He and his wife will go to the lake often tokayak. They like to ride bikes as well, but they dont

ride the small road bikes like you see in bicycleraces, but rather a mountain bike. Even though Idont see him all that much, we have a closerelationship. He is important to me because he hashelped me and made me laugh through some toughtimes.

` Marty is my favorite of my two uncles. He islike me, always doing something if it is leisureor business. He works at a plant nursery inHarrisburg which is the equivalent of Piedmontlandscaping around here. Since he lives nextto my grandmother, I go to his house often. Wewill end up working on something when Imthere, unless he falls asleep watching TV. Hegrew up hunting, and he still hunts a lot thesedays. His favorite animal of all time to hunt isan elk. He likes to travel, travel to hunt, eat(the photo of his plate), and build things.Mostly by himself he has built his own 3.5 bedand 2 full bath log cabin, a carport with a hugeupstairs, a woodshed for firewood, and a shopwith a storage garage with a lean-to. We arepretty close because he will let me stay thenight sometimes, and even eat supper with himon occasions. He is important to me becausehe is fun, energetic, and likes all the things I do.He is really smart so he test my knowledge and

we have fun together. We have a goodrelationship in which we care about each othersignificantly. I also believe he likes mebecause he never had a boy of his own and Ithink that I fill that space.

` Robin Treece Barringer became married toMarty about 6 years ago. She works atUwharrie Point managing mostly events andactivities. She loves to talk because every timeI go to see her she wants to know everythingabut how things have been going. When Icome over around lunch or supper she asksme if I have eaten and if I would like anythingshe cooked. She thinks Im too skinny and

says I dont eat properly but I do. Robin caresabout fitness because although she is hardcore about it she likes to walk and eat sort ofhealthy. He food is very tasteful because shemakes odd combinations you normally wouldntthink of, but it is great. Her most favorite thingto do is obviously talk, but she loves to shop,travel, snow ski, and sunbath on the sideporch. We use to play badminton in the backyard but then we moved to playing corn hole. Iwould say we have a relatively close

relationship because she is always wonderinghow Im doing. Robin is important to mebecause she is nice and cares about me, andwhile I get the chance to get away from momand dad at the same time.

` Cherri is a very religious person. Shededicates everything she does to God. Sheused to work at Alcoa in Badin and acquireda major back injury. She had manysurgeries to make her back better, but shestill has problems. She is mobile but islimited to the activities she can do. Shecant work so she stays at home while Ty

works. She watches many sermons on TV.She goes every month to get treatments forher back and the medicine makes her havemigraines for a couple days. She is thesweetest person you will ever meet. Wehave a good relationship because she helpsme talk out things that happened and sheunderstands my situations. She is importantto me because she cares about me when I

feel sad, sick, or happy. She takes care ofme when I stay there and most importantlyshe tells me the religious way to deal withproblems.

` They just moved in about one and a half years

ago but I have gotten to know my neighbors

extremely well. Aaron Smith is now 30 and we

hang out or see each other about 4 days a

week. Aaron works for Duke Energy and so he

works a lot but we still hang out a good

amount. Aaron and I play lots of corn hole and

at most times he beats me, but I can beat himsometimes. Aaron, like my dad, has grown up

around hunting and fishing and so we have a

lot in common as well. Aaron and his wife

Ashley have two sons named Henry and Titus.

Aaron is originally from Oakboro, NC but

moved to Albemarle before moving next to me.

Aaron isnt completely redneck but if you met

him you would probably think he was a

redneck. Ashley likes to stay inside but she isalways with the baby anyway. She has a

teaching degree but when she had Henry 3

years ago she became a stay at home mom.

The neighbors are not particularly important to

me, but I like to spend time with them and havefun.

Henry is 3 years old and loves the outdoors. Heloves to ride four-wheelers, play ball, and just runaround crazy, so we play a lot. He is funnybecause he thinks of himself in third-person. Hewill say, lets go ride Henrys four-wheeler, insteadof lets go ride my four-wheeler. The same goes forHenry house, Henrys ball, and the best he says iswhere is Henrys Garrett. He says that because hecant find me, or if Im at school and Im not playing

with him. I like playing with him because on bothsides of my family I am the youngest so I missedout on growing with younger children. This is why Isay he is like a little brother to me. The other nightI was playing corn hole over there, what a surprise,and I over heard Ashley and Aarons mom sayssomething about me being almost part of thefamily because me and Henry play abouteveryday. I like Henry and he likes me. Henry isimportant to me because since I didnt have a littlebrother, he sort of fills that space

` Matthew Lambert has been my bestfriend since we were three years old.We went to preschool together at WesleyChapel United Methodist Church. Wewent to the same babysitter. Our parentsare good friends too because they wentto school together. We live close to eachother and we are close enough I can cut

through the back woods of my house andbe at his house on my fourwheeler. Weboth like to hunt, fish, and ridefourwheelers. We go to each othershouses regularly and play, ridefourwheelers, and help each other withhomework. We are close to each otherand we tell each other mostly everything.He is like a twin brother to me because

we are similar in many ways. He isimportant to me because we can just talkor have fun together whenever we wantto and because we have known eachother for years and hopefully many yearsto come.

` Ryan Eudy is a wild guy. He is fun to bearound because he doesnt care what otherpeople think so he will do stupid actions thateveryone laughs at. He likes to act like a truehunter but he is not quite there, play golf, ridehis fourwheeler, and look up videos onYoutube. Our favorite saying is, I do what Iwant. He says things that makes fun ofhimself and when we laugh he realizes what he

said. We went to preschool together andMatthew is Ryans friend too. We dont reallygo to each others houses, but we still havegood times at school. Ryan the ninja is not thebrightest lightbulb but he blends into our groupwell. We are close friends and we talk about alot. I believe we will become closer once wecan drive, and I believe that is the case with alot of teenagers that cant yet drive. He isimportant because although we are not reallyclose we have a strong friendship where we

laugh and have fun together.

` Dray Smith loves to play golf. We met in sixthgrade at New London Choice Middle. We havebecome great friends since meeting and likeRyan we dont hang out much outside ofschool. Dray is fun to be around when he cutsloose some because he has halfway strictparents. He was grounded for making a highB on his progress report. I would say we arepretty good friends. We sadly dont have anyclasses together so we have fun at lunch. Helikes to find funny quotes/videos, camp, and bein boyscouts. He recently became a Eaglescout a few months ago and was put in thepaper. His favorite sports would be basketball,baseball, and golf. We are close friends so ourrelationship is good because we have fun andhelp each other with homework. He isimportant to me because when we met hewanted a friend and I wanted to find a new,unstuck-up friend.

Nick Chandler and I met in preschool with

Matthew and Ryan. We practically ran that

preschool not sharing toys and all. He decided

to go to North Stanly High School to play

football and that is where his brother went. We

have been good friends through all the years.

When we were at Richfield Elementary together

Nick, Ryan, Matthew, and I were a group thatwould always stay together. He is a shy person

until he is warmed up to people. He loves

hunting, fishing, and playing football. We slowly

began to grow apart last year because of all the

more friends we made at New London Middle,

and North Stanly Middle. We had a great

relationship but now we are at different places

so we dont really talk all that much. He isimportant because we had good times, good

laughs, and good troubles together. Friends

should have fun together and we would.

` Madeline Watson also goes by Maddy is a longtime friend from Kindergarten. We are third orfourth cousins. We attend the same churchwhere her mother is choir director. Her motherwas a teacher but now she is the principal atNorth Stanly Middle. I had her mother for ateacher when I was in the third grade atRichfield. We are not the closest friends butwe have a mutualistic relationship and have thesame friends. She likes cheerleading,shopping, and being with friends. She hasbeen a cheerleader since seventh grade whenshe could become a cheerleader. We playedpeewee soccer together and after churchsometimes I used to go home with them butthat was a few years ago. We have a typicalfriendship not really a close relationship but wehave fun and laugh together. If she ever feelsbad or has a bad day I will give her a hug justto make her smile. She is important to me

because we have the same friends but also wehave grown up together and been there for

each other.

` Kaylan and I met in 6th grade at NewLondon Middle School. She and Maddieare best friends. She likes to dance,shop, and have fun. She is currently acheerleader for Graystone. We were notreally close until a few months ago whenshe and Maddy were in High SchoolMusicalproduced by the Talent

Company. I was at rehearsals andhelped out backstage so we grew closerseeing each other a lot. We now sittogether at lunch. We have a regularfreindship and really nothing more. Wesay hi to each other and ask how thingsare going but we dont have a deeprelationship. We are friends so we justhave good times together and she is not

really important to me. Dont get mewrong I would miss her if she was gonebut we just are not close.

` Andi is one of the most wierdest people Ihave met. She loves to shop, hang out, andbe silly. She is 18 years old and works atFood Lion. Her mother, Cherri, is alwaysstressed out when Andi is around. She is shyuntil she knows people better and then thereal Andi comes out when she cracks jokesand laughs all the time. She loves to yell,and even call people anus. My name to her

is Anus. She used to go come to Graystonebefore going to Mt. Pleasant High. She livedwith her father and then moved back in withTy and Cherri after high school. She hatesthe weather unless it is partly cloudy andsixty-five degrees. We have become goodfriends over the past omnths and we oftentext each other so I will say we have a fairyclose relationship. She is important because

we have good laughs together and justwatching her makes me laugh. We dont

really have much in common but we do like tohang out with each other.

` I have many friends but only a few of

them I can actually write about

because Im not so close to them. Ihave known many people at schools

and around Stanly county but I havent

gotten to know them very well so Idecided to leave them out of this

powerpoint of best friends.
