Character Portrayal For the film, I have presented my

characters in quite a stereotypical way. As the characters meet at a party it

helps to hint that there may be a problem later in the film due to their party lifestyles which can be seen as quite stereotypical for teenagers.

The Boy

The lead male is portrayed as being the typical confident teenage boy.

He is seen talking to a number of people at the party.

He is also seen to make the first move as he walks over to talk to the girl which is common in this genre of film.

The Boy He is wearing a hoodie, a collared shirt, dark

skinny jeans and high top trainers which is a very popular look for a lot of boys his age.

Apart from applying hair gel, he spends very little time getting ready as the audience wouldn't imagine most teenage boys spending ages to get ready, which follows the stereotype of boys only needing 5 minutes to get ready.

You see the boy ready to leave while the girl is still getting ready.

The Girl

The girl is depicted as being shy as she gives a small smile and plays with her dress when she enters the party.

She also goes over to talk to her friend in the corner rather than joining the big group of people talking and drinking.

The Girl She is wearing a red dress and golden

high heels which is the type of outfit you would expect a girl to wear to a party.

For more than half the sequence she is seen getting ready. This is expected as females stereotypically spend ages grooming themselves.

She applies make-up, curls and sprays her hair and picks her outfit.
