It was creates in 1979. Noel Kempff Mercado National Park covers 750,000 hectares of land,much of which consists of the Serrania de Huanchaca. The park is located on the Brazilian Shield in the northeast Santa Cruz Department in Bolivia. The Rio de Itenez is its eastern and northern border separating it from the neighboring Brazil.It is situated in a transition zone where the Amazonian rain forests and the dry forest and savannas of Cerrado meet.

Potosí is a city and the capital of the department of Potosí in Bolivia. It is one of the highest cities in the world by elevation at a nominal 4,090 metres . For centuries, it was the location of the Spanish colonial mint. Potosí lies at the foot of the Cerro de Potosí sometimes referred to as the Cerro Rico ("rich mountain", a mountain popularly conceived of as being "made of" silver ore that dominates the city. The Cerro Rico is the reason for Potosí's historical importance, since it was the major supply of silver for Spain during the period of the New World Spanish Empire.

the 16th century on the ruins of an Inca city and Stands at an altitude of 2.850m.Despite the 1917 earthquake,the city has the best-presereved,least altered historic centre un Latín América.
