Cloud computing describes a new delivery model for IT services based on the Internet and it typically involves over-the-Internet provision of dynamically scalable and often virtualized resources. Course Description: This workshop helps to understand the different deployment scenarios available to cloud computing. It describes how to decide whether an internal private cloud or a public cloud is right for you as well as addressing issues commonly raised about cloud computing, including security and data privacy. This workshop helps attendees understand the different cloud deployment options: private, public, hybrid. Attendees will leave the workshop with a good understanding of how to implement their cloud computing initiatives. Particular attention is paid to discussing the implications of the different deployment options and what steps are necessary for IT organizations to implement each. The benefits and risks of each option are also examined. This course developed in partnership with the leading cloud computing consultancy HyperStratus, leveraging its depth of experience with companies like Unilever and Wipro. Introduction to Cloud Computing:

Cloud computing is defined as Internet-based computing, whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices on demand.

Cloud computing is a paradigm shift following the move from mainframe to client–server computing in the early 1980s. Details are abstracted from the users, who no longer have need for expertise in, or control over, the technology or infrastructure “in the cloud” that supports them. Cloud computing describes a new delivery model for IT services based on the Internet and it typically involves over-the-Internet provision of dynamically scalable and often virtualized resources.

Course Description:

This workshop helps to understand the different deployment scenarios available to cloud computing.
