HUB SERVICES The main priority of the regional water knowledge hub for climate

-agencies around the region to help it brace itself for the impacts ofclimate change. More specifically, the hub will:

Develop and offer courses and training programs in the areas required

and specific to the region, that are relevant and self-sustaining;

Assess the im acts of lobal climate chan e and land use chan e onwater balances and water quality in Southeast Asia through regionalinteractive climate, hydrology, and water quality models, such asNAHRIM’s Regional Environmental Hydroclimate Model (RegEHCM),part of which is already complete;

Train technical personnel from interested agencies around the region inthe use of state-of-the-art data and technology from regionalenvironmental hydroclimate models and water resources systems

Help develop clients’ and partners’ awareness of water-related issues inagricultural, coastal resource, biodiversity, forestry, public health,

Initial collaboration is with other water knowledge hubs and like minded

Ministry of Public Works (MPW) and Ministry of Environment Indonesia, Public Utilities Board (PUB) Singapore, Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-Water) South Korea, and

to firm up the Global Climate Model (GCM) simulations to be acquired, river

GIS database.

Consequently, as the study progresses collaboration with hubs such as,
