La formación y experiencia en la clínica psicoa-nalítica han dejado una fuerte impronta sobre mi mirada artística y social.Mi trabajo es impulsado por la necesidad de investigar la fragmentación del ser humano, el cuerpo y su relación con el mundo que habita.Las imágenes de la naturaleza, su espíritu y sus formas, como también la carga erótica que poseen, son el disparador de las construcciones orgánicas que habitan en mi obra. Incursiono por esa estrecha relación entre cultu-ra y naturaleza. Exploro el erotismo orgánico de sus formas, la vibración del color, su luminiscen-cia; centrando mi mirada en el sujeto.Me sirvo de la escultura, la instalación y la pintu-ra investigando de manera intuitiva con materia-les no convencionales. Construyo cuerpos. Apelando a la fragilidad del material como el papel, la tela, el vidrio, enfatizo esa fragilidad primaria de lo humano.Hago posible que aparezcan los atravesamien-tos, sus cicatrices, sus hilos y conexiones.Las marcas están hondo, son indisolubles y necesarias; subyacen la materia.Ilumino lo que nos es oculto,  permitiendo vislumbrar su procedencia; la estructura que lo sostiene.Como una narrativa del cuerpo, coloreo, corpo-rizo, quiebro metaforizando las fragmentaciones del cuerpo y del sujeto.

My experience and training in clinical psychoa-nalysis has left a strong impression on my artistic and social vision. My work is driven by the necessity to investigate the fragmentation of the human being, the body and its connection with the world in which it lives.The images of nature, its spirit and its forms, as well as the erotic charge they may have, are the trigger of the organic constructions that live within my work.I experiment with the close relationship between culture and nature. I also explore the organic eroticism of its forms, the vibration of color, its luminescence; centering my gaze on the subject.I am using sculpture, installation and paint in order to investigate intuitively using non-conventional materials.I build bodies. Appealing to the material’s fragility such as paper, fabric and glass, I emphasize the elemental fragility of the human being.I make it possible so that its marks, scars, fibers and connections appear.The marks are deep, indissoluble and necessary; underlying the subject.I illuminate what is hidden to us, permitting a glimpse of its origin; the structure that sustains it.As a narrative of the body, I color, materialize and break it, creating metaphors using the fragmenta-tions of both the body and the subject.

“Insisting light”, the exposition by Adriana Carambia, submerges us into a labyrinth where gaze is captured by brightness. The eye is held captive, for a moment, in a flash that transforms the real. How can marks bestretchedexpandedalmost infinitewhen everything shrinksand is lost?

Nació, en Argentina. Vive y trabaja en Buenos Aires. Es psicoanalista, graduada en la Universidad de Buenos Aires, Ella ha realizado más de 30 exposi-ciones individuales y colectivas desde el año 2002, incluyendo varias participaciones en el Salón Nacio-nal de Artes Visuales (Palais de Glace, Buenos Aires, Argentina). Fue finalista del Finantial times/O-ppenheimer Fund Awards 2015, obtuvo la Mención Honoraria Premio Andreani 2015, participó de exposición individual en la Galería Argentine (Paris), DACIL Art Gallery, Galeria Boulevard Saenz Peña, Buenos Aires. Galeria Azur, Buenos Aires. Museo de Bellas Artes Félix de Amador de Luján en Buenos Aires, Galería Bluma en Córdoba, Argenti-na. Galería del Consulado Argentino en New York, EE UU. Centro Cultural Recoleta, Museo Sivori, Centro Cultural Plaza Castelli, Museo Rómulo Raggio, etc. de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Gualberto Hernández Contemporary Art, Connecticut. EE UU.

She was born in Argentina and lives and works in Buenos Aires. She is a psychoanalyst who graduated from the University of Buenos Aires. She has had more than 30 expositions and collections since the year 2002, including participating in the National Salon of Visual Arts (Palais de Glace, Buenos Aires, Argentina) several times. She was a finalist for the Financial Times/Oppenheimer Fund Awards in 2015 and had the Andreani Honorable Mention Prize for 2015. She has had an individual exposition in the Argentine Gallery (Paris), DACIL Art Gallery, Gallery Boulevard in Buenos Aires, Gallery Azur in Buenos Aires. Bluma Gallery in Cordoba, Argentina, Bellas Artes Museum Felix de Amador de Lujan in Buenos Aires, Gallery of the Argentine Consulate in New York, USA, Recoleta Cultural Center, Sivori Museum, Castelli Plaza Cultural Center, Raggio Romulo Museum in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Gallery Gualber-to Hernández Contemporary Art, Connecticut.
