CONVERSION OF SIGN LANGUAGE TO VOICE

ABSTRACT

This work uses the image processing methods and neural network to classify the sign language patterns, a set of function had been implemented in Matlab to achieve our goal. Our vocabulary of sign language are composed of 24 letters belong to the alphabet, this work considers only those gestures without movement, our hardware are a digital camera and a PC.

DESIGN AND SIMULATION OF INTEGRATED CIRCUIT OF THE NEURONAL NETWORK APLICATION TO CONTROL OF MOTORS VELOCITY DC

ABSTRACT

The objective of this work, is the development of an integrated device, that allows to control the speed of a motor of DC (DC), using a neuronal network. In the present report a developed design is described to control this type of motors DC using the method of training with algorithms of retropropagacion through the plant. Also considering that can be trained to a neuronal network to control a dynamic process with variable parameters. Shaping in a physical device of an integrated circuit developed with tools of advanced digital design.

MULTIVARIABLE CLOSED-LOOP IDENTIFICATION WITH CONSTRAINED MPC CONTROL – A CASE STUDY IN AN INDUSTRIAL DEPROPANIZER COLUMN

ABSTRACT

This paper deals with the model re-identification in closed-loop systems with already existing MPC controllers. It is assumed that the controller has a two-layer structure, where in the upper layer a simplified economic optimization determines a set of optimal steady state values for the process inputs (targets) and passes this set to the MPC for implementation. This is the case of several commercial MPC packages applied in industry. This work focuses on the case where the existing process model shows signs of deterioration and there is significant benefit in obtaining a new model aiming a MPC re-commissioning procedure. It is proposed a new methodology to excite the system in closed-loop by introducing persistently exciting signals in the objective function of the economic layer. The approach allows the continuous operation of the system as the process constraints and product specification can be satisfied during the test. The application of the method is illustrated by simulation of a depropanizer column of the oil industry. The method is simple to be implemented in existing commercial MPC packages and the results show that the method has a good potential to be applied in practice.

COLABORATIVE E-BUSINESS AND SOFTWARE AGENTS

ABSTRACT

The paper proposes the functions for two new agents in collaboration e-business, since we know that collaborative processes are growing up and we have a large way to work on researches about e-business. The start point is after we identify collaboration between people, processes and systems, we believe that each important process of the organization during its daily routine has two elements like context and content joined itself. Then, we can understand those processes are important when you look at them as a result for another one and it can resolve a problem. We want to get the ability to collaborate and leverage the knowledge. We have been based the analysis on the intangibles assets joined with the technology in order to build a design to understand the collaborative e-business processes. We present the results of the process and collaboration that already exist between themselves each time when a task has been started, in order to obtain new knowledge. To do that, we are based in new DirCCI model for collaboration of intellectual capital, where the business needs and collaboration are defined and then we propose the concepts to design and understand the main elements of the new system. The result is a new way to understand collaboration based on software agents in order to gain significant and sustainable competitive advantage and knowledge management in the organizations and now we should think in how help people, processes and systems to think about virtual decisions through e-business.

OPTICAL RANGE FINDER BASE DON POSITIONSENSITIVE DETECTOR

ABSTRACT

A range finder is any device capable of measuring the distance between two points. An red laser pulsing at one KHz is used as the light source, which is incident on a target. A PSD based optical receiver collects the reflected light from the target. The PSD produces two current signals that are amplified and passed through a band pass filter. The two signals are read by two 12-bit analogue to digital converters (ADC). These two readings are manipulated by a software package, Lab View. Mathematical manipulation by Lab View converts the two signals into a range in centimetres.The optical set up and the length of the PSD determine that range finder has a range of 20 – 80 cm in the prototype. At these two extremes, the received light spot goes past the ends of the PSD. Over this range accuracy is about 1%.

SEISMOLOGICAL BEHAVIOR IN THE PERU USING DIMENSION FRACTAL

ABSTRACT

The present work is a sample of application of the measure concepts and dimension of geometry fractal in the simulation of the process of fragmentation applied to the study of the seismological behavior in Perú. In this investigation it is looked for to relate the concepts of statistical distribution and fractal dimension; in the purpose of being able to express justifiably in a realler way, the behavior of magnitude frequency and latitude of seismic occurrence.

MATERIALS CHARACTERIZATION AND CONVERVATION OF THE PORTRAIT OF ANTONIO MANSO DE VELASCO, VIRREY CONDE DE SUPERUNDA

ABSTRACT

We report the first results obtained in the characterization and identification of the materials, and the conservation intervention of the picture of Don Antonio Manso de Velazco, Conde de Superunda, viceroy of Perú during the second half of the XVIII century. The picture was painted by Cristobal Lozano. The techniques used in the study were optical microscopy, chemical microanalysis, scanning electron microscopy and EDX.

DISCONECTATION AND DEFINITION OF THE DOMAIN DEPENDENCE OF A HYPERBOLIC CONSERVATION LINEAR SYSTEM

ABSTRACT

The equations that govern the behavior of some equations of the Physics - Mathematics as for example elastic, acoustic and of electromagnetism they are possible to reduce them to systems of EDP'S of first order, those that are of operating on a hyperbolic EDP of second order. In the Purpose of solving this type of equations numerically, these can be taken to this type of lineal systems of EDP'S. Our objective in this article is to present a technique of the transformation of the EDP from second hyperbolic order to a lineal system of EDP of first order, for the case of a wave equation any, as well as the disconectation of this system to reduce them to independent EDP'S of first order and to define this way the domain of Dependence of the system, in the purpose of determining the geometric place where it will allow to establish the existence and unicidad of solution of the problem of initial value or of Cauchy, associated to the system.
