La oruga muy hambrienta
Un domingo una oruga sale.
El lunes come una manzana
pero aún tiene hambre.
El martes come dos peras
pero aún tiene hambre.
El miércoles come tres ciruelas
pero aún tiene hambre.
El jueves come cuatro fresas
pero aún tiene hambre.
El viernes come cinco naranjas
pero aún tiene hambre.
…
El sábado come un pastel, un helado, un
pepinillo, una loncha de queso, una rodaja
de salchichón…
…una piruleta, una porción de tarta
de frutas, una salchicha, una magdalena y
un trozo de sandía.
Tiene dolor de barriga.
Al día siguiente la oruga come una hoja
verde y se siente mucho mejor.
Se construye un capullo
y se queda allí dos semanas.
Un día empuja hacia fuera del capullo.
Se ha convertido en
una hermosa mariposa!

Hambrienta picture
• Use the next slide to either print out or draw a similar
caterpillar for you to fill in and later colour.
• On the top line, write the day in Spanish. Make sure to
keep them in the correct order going from head to tail.
• On the second line write what food he ate and how
many. Check your spelling and numbers on the slide
story.
• On the third line, for an extension, add the colour of
the food.
• Once you’ve written your sentences in all 5 circles, you can draw the fruit to match your sentences. Count
your number to make sure you don’t draw too few or too many!
• We’ll finish the design and practice reading it next week!
