To measure wind speed. To measure temperature. Constructing a low cost anemometer.

Working methodology

Pulse is being sent to arduino

Number of rotation counted

Using v=wr ; speed measured.

ADVANTAGES

Advantage: Cheaper Easy to construct Easy to install portable

LIMITATIONS

Limitations: Inappropriate for very

high wind speed. Using wind tunnel for

calibration would be better.

FUTURE EXPECTATIONS

Future expectation: Pressure measure Wind direction Using hall effect sensor

would be better.

CONCLUSION

Important device for wind energy conversion

project helps us to understand difference between theory & practice.
